Poor choice –We went there to have lunch on Valentine’s Day(horrible) Ordered for Pad see ew– noodles and u won’t believe it was burned– yup and worst part was when we told to server… She behaved like as if we did a crime. Very rude. We went to this restaurant few times earlier and service here is always poor but this time it was unacceptable. Will never go back again… And not to mention food is expensive for the quantity & quality they serve

Very poor service. Crowded. Food is mediocre. We ordered no spice on our food as we had 3 children. The soup was too spicy even for adults(we are Indian and we are used to spicy food). We were planning on ordering deserts but the bill was dropped off on the table in a rush. Best of all we asked for lime to improve the taste on panang curry — we were charged $ 3 for the lime wedges! To be fair, when we protested the charge was removed. Was visiting. Will not go here again.

Very great food, their service is so amazing. I will come back soon. We had a trip at Paso Robles. We orderer BBQ pork and papaya salad and Panang curry is the best. Thanks for all crews taking of us. Love it!

This is tied with Thai Boat for my favorite Thai restaurant in SLO — but this wins most every time I have a Thai craving since they have consistent business hours(and they deliver!). Their delivery is very fast too, which I love. The service in the restaurant is friendly and efficient, but they can get overwhelmed when it’s busy. In general their food is creative and delicious. They have a few specialties that I can’t get enough of — Surf & Turf Fried Rice(spicy rice w/shrimp and filet mignon) and Crying Tiger(rib eye steak w/salad, avocado and yummy sour sauce/dressing). They lose a star from me because their noodle dishes are consistently underwhelming, and also because there are times when my order has been unbearably salty. I have started to specify«No MSG» on all my orders and that has seemed to help, but this bothers me because their menu already clearly states that their food is «100% MSG-free»… so I’m not sure what’s up with that. But I continue to order from them, so that’s saying something… just keep in mind if you are sensitive to sodium and/or MSG.

My husband and I love MyThai. Their food is wonderful and their hours are dependable. My husband’s standby order is their crispy orange chicken with rice – I know it’s not your typical Thai dish but it is GOOD. I switch my order up every now and then but I highly recommend the Garlic & Pepper chicken with a side of rice or the BBQ pork or the Thai fried rice. I’ve yet to have something that I did not like. We always get a side of chicken satay or the crispy spring rolls. Their spring rolls are probably some of the best I’ve ever had. If the food wasn’t enough of a reason to check out MyThai, the fact they offer FREE delivery should seal the deal. Their delivery timing is impeccable. It has never taken more than 30 minutes to order AND receive our food. We ordered from there today(which is what drove me to finally leave a review – I can’t believe it took me this long!) and I got my order confirmation email at 1:59 pm. We had our piping hot food by 2:25 pm. I also love that they offer online ordering – I’m all about convenience! Download their app too – every now and then they offer a free appetizer coupon!

The best service I have had so far when it comes to Thai restaurant. As a native Thai, I must say that I wish they open in west LA as well. Fried rice, pad Thai and Tom yum were very tasty. Very satisfy.

3.5 stars. MyThai is in a cool old building near the San Luis Obispo train station — this area of town is called«Railroad Square» which is home to several very good eateries. San Luis has an abundance of good Thai restaurants for some reason and this also one of them. This was my first time here at MyThai. We made reservations by phone(or so we thought) for seven people at 7PM. When we arrived they told us «We don’t take reservations because we never know how many people will show up»(huh? ha ha!). But, we were seated right away since the dining room was not all that busy. Our waitress was efficient and pleasant. This was one of those nights where the food others ordered seemed better than what I had ordered. I ordered the Hot and Sour soup– which was also a bit sweet. Other people ordered the large bowl of coconut based soup to share; and I recommend that one to you my friends – very tasty it was! We also had the spring roll which was kind of heavy and seemed like it was thawed out before being cooked. It was edible, but next time I would skip that one. For the main course, I had the yellow curry which was good — although the potatoes were two mouthfuls sized and slightly undercooked. My GF had the ‘drunken noodles” which I also tasted and were really good– better than the curry I had. The have a beer and wine bar so don’t come thinking you will have an actual Mai Tai. Short wine list(we brought our own favorite PInot for a $ 10 corkage fee). They also have some unique Asian beers on tap. The bill for 7 came with tip included and was $ 176(four of our friends only drank water – so that’s food with the corkage and two beers). So A-OK is right, but here are better choices for Thai in town, but not necessarily with a dining room(Thai Boat!!!).

Yummy food, reasonable prices, quick service. It gets noisy and sometimes there’s a long wait, but the food is worth it. Get the green beans!

Eat here — will not disappoint! We were visiting SLO from LA and this is the best Thai food we’ve ever had! We ordered 5 minutes until closing and they were nice enough to accommodate a delivery order to our hotel. Ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, yellow curry with chicken, and green curry with tofu. Food is amazing!!!

I don’t eat Thai food very often, but the food is delicious here! I have tried the Pad See Ew, Crab Noodles, and a special curry dish that is not on the menu! The portions may not be the largest, but the food is definitely good quality with good taste and flavor to it. This is my go to Thai place to eat in SLO! Will be going here as long as I am in SLO!

Excellent foot and excellent service! Got our dinner within 10 minutes of walking in. Tried the Thai Chicken Yellow Curry and pork fried rice. It was all amazing! Side note: if you don’t like spicy, I do not recommend trying curry here. Their curry had a kick to it, but it was delish!

Still love l their curries, and especially the pumpkin. Most of their dishes have actually gotten better over the last year, and service and presentation has improved too, same people, just more dialed in. Great for take out or eat in, including being good for small groups. A very kid and adult pleasing homemade orange chicken is worth a try(not so thai like in my book, but tasty). Don’t be afraid to try new things the menu, overall it is very good. They changed their Tom Kha soup, it’s now like the grayish colored sour/sweet base like the one at TB(@ Broad & Orcutt) but with lots of straw mushrooms. Such a disappointment as I have loved the previous version with a heavily spiced orange colored sour/sweet base with slices of galangal root, ginger, lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, and cilantro. Owners if your reading this, please go back to old recipe, people love TB too, but not for their Tom Kha! Also dependably open, for some reason an important factor for this food in SLO.

Stopped by for lunch as we waited for our train, we were so happy there was good food nearby. It was right next to a cute little mini-park. The staff isn’t the friendliest, but they also weren’t rude to us. The bathroom was clean and spacious(which I appreciate as someone who was just stopping through). The veggie spring rolls were not the best and the way they display the sauce is a little inefficient, but whatever. I had the drunken noodles with tofu and it was SOGOOD. My husband had the chicken pad thai and it was only ok.

I so desperately want to love this place, but the customer service is so bad. The food is great, the prices at spot on, and they’re within walking distance of my house, but the surly wait staff test my patience.

Great authentic Thai food! Quality meats and ingredients Service is fast and one of the best Thai food restaurants in Slo. I ordered Surf & Turf fried rice, filet mignon was so tender and flavorful. Shrimp was plump and perfectly cooked. Except rice was bit salty. Give them a try if your in town. This is coming from guy who is born and raised in Thai town(East Hollywood)

So SLO has itself some GREAT Thai and that includes easy accommodation for vegans. So fresh and spicey! Attractive spot that would be jamming in the evening. Lunch combo with steamed jasmine rice and tofu prik king will bring us back!

This seems to be a very popular local Thai restaurant here in SLO so while vacationing we decided to give it a try. First impression is that the restaurant décor was nice. We ordered the pad thai with shrimp, panang chicken and spicy eggplant combo meats. The pad thai came with quite a few shrimp but a bit too sweet for me. The panang chicken had good flavors but lacking much ingredients other than white strips of chicken. The spicy eggplant was okay but some of the meats were tough. The three dishes with one jasmine rice plus tax and tip came to about $ 50. Although the service was good but over all the dishes were a bit lackluster.

— great service — food tasted good — prices were alright, not the best deal — portions were plentiful Overall it was good. However, I have had great Thai food at much lower prices and therefor find this place average and not exceptional. It’s good for SLO.
