Los Osos Shell

I stopped at this gas station because of the car wash, but was left with a car full of water spots from either hard water or dirty recycled water or both. After 20 minutes of wiping my car down I got it to where it should have been when I exited the car wash.

Ran out of gas just down the street (first time in over 15 years) and they charge you $ 20 for a $ 1.99 gas can. No loaner…
This owner symbolizes everything that is wrong with this world. I worked at a gas station by Cal Poly when I was in college and we loaned gas cans because accidents happen and it creates goodwill towards our company and for the community. What a piece of shit this guy is…

The car wash works well. 20 cent discounted on gas with car wash. Not a long line. Convenient location right on main drag.

This is the closest Shell I have near me but I make sure to avoid this one because it’s so pricey compared to other places. Save yourself some $$ on gas and make that short trip to the one on Foothill/​Santa Rosa, where it will be at least around 20 cents cheaper per gallon.

Why would anyone go here? One of the stations down the street was literally 40 cents cheaper per gallon ($ 3.99 to $ 4.39). No thanks.

One of the priciest gas stations in town. The workers have always been nice to me and turn on the air so I can fill up my tires… Probably helps to be a girl!

This is the Shell gas station on 1 right before you hit 101. Nothing memorable, except for the bathroom. There was a line for the bathroom, and the attendant told the lady in front of me to use the employee bathroom. She quickly emerged and fell back in line and he told me «go ahead to the employee bathroom, there should be enough light back there for ya». Ok, weird, whatever.
So, I walk into the bathroom, and try to flip on the switch, nope, not working. The only light that was available in the bathroom was the flickering remnant of a fluorescent bulb. This reminded me of the movie «Saw» where the only light is that flickering bulb, and you have to make the decision to saw off your hand or die. In this case, I had to pee or else.
I finished my business and got the hell out there.
