Believe it or not, some men like to shop also and want more than the national chains can offer. That’s where Jules fits, in a town full of women’s boutiques. Jules D. has a well-​curated selection of clothing that cuts across age and style choices. There is not much like it in San Luis Obispo. Great gifts as well, such a coffee table books and men’s grooming items.

Overpriced and poor return policy. We found the sales people to lack clarity with the return policy, edging on manipulative.

Wow! Stumbled upon Jules D yesterday afternoon and fell in LOVE. One of a kind men’s store, and now the only place I want my husband to shop!
Great customer service as well. Also, how can you go wrong with a store that has a Ducati sitting on the sales floor.

I was currently in SLO for the night and was in need of some QUALITY shaving products and I asked a gentlean on the street who recomended Jules D…
Let me tell you. I was expecting a higer-​end salon type of store but this store is a straight Men’s Clothing Boutique who also carries the quality shaving products that men ned to help keep them and their beards clean.
Upon walking in I quickly noticed the Vintage Motorcycle Inspired feel which is right up my alley, The store was open, clean and very shoppable… They had brands like VANSON and BELSTAFF the best assortment of biker jackets I have seen in some time. Top notch.
In addition to the jackets they had a wonderful selection of G-​Star! So many styles of quality denim and outerwear. I’m pretty sure this is the only place in SLO to get G-​Star.
Expecting to only get some shaving cream and beard conditioner I walked away with a Biker Jacket, Coffee table book, pair of G-​star Denim, and a Vanson Waxed Jacket !!
If you’re in the need of some good denim jeans you must stop by this boutique.
The variety of goods is rediculous. Extremely Unique Quality handmade leather goods, Books galore, Razor Kits, Hats, Shoes. Oh man the shoes…
Jules D was also nice because they had a more stylish shoe selection than Charles’s. Completely different feel.
I just so happened to go into the shop in October and it was Beer Month and I was offered up a local Central Coast IPA, Are you kidding me! Does it get any better? Hahaha
I haven’t been into a store this fun in some time… Top Notch store and hats off to the owners.

Jules D is the best men’s store in SLO, hands down. Not only is Jules awesome, but the rest of her staff is too. They are laid back (which is rare in most stores), are willing to go out of the way to help, and have an in-​depth knowledge of all of their product lines. Not only do I want to go into the store for the selection, I want to go in just to hang out and talk. We desperately needed an awesome men’s store on Higuera and this definitely fits the bill. Jules D, a much needed and appreciated addition to downtown SLO shopping experience. This store is a gem.
The variety of men’s fashion items from hats down to shoes and everything in-​between is appreciated. But more than that the style, quality, and many handcrafted items are also appreciated (leather goods, etc.).
I’d like to also see even more support of vintage looks and made in the USA items here.

Jules has opened up a unique experience in downtown slo. She has revolutionized my homecare routine. She has an amazing collection of shave tools, including classic razors and shave kits. Everyman should make the switch, you pay a little more upfront but you save more money and get better quality over the long run.
As for the rest of the stuff she has there, she has a variety of unique, high quality fashion items. Her hats, belts and wallets are all very cool and of rediculous quality. Lot’s of great jackets and shoes as well. Every man who cares about how he looks or has a woman who cares about how he looks needs to stop by this shop.

This store is just what slo needs. I picked up a pair of boots for an out of town event, only to realize the night before my flight i needed a smaller size. Jules was nice enough to open up the store on her day off to make sure i had what i needed. Awesome customer service, great selection of quality mens items, and thorough knowledge of the products being sold! Ill definitely be back for more.

In a town saturated with great restaurants, too many bars and clothing stores for college aged ladies, it’s really nice to find an upscale hip mens accesory store. There’s probably nothing else that compares to this little gem of a store anywhere between Santa Barbara and Carmel. The owner «Jules D» is freindly, helpful and knowladgealbe about her procucts. This store is a great additon to the downtown SLO scene.

Hands down this is the best boutique men’s clothing store to ever come to SLO!

Finally a place for men to buy shoes in SLO! Great coffee table books and other gift items too.

First to review and it’s an honest high 5 I assure you. I believe strongly that the fine selection high quality shaving gear is what will really put this great store on the map, attracting men from all over the central coast. Top quality stuff and all at a very reasonable price that will keep guys coming back.
So let’s cut right to the heart of this thing.
I’m a guy who hates to shave and I really don’t like paying all this money for all this plastic disposable grocery store junk either, but shave I must… A little research six months ago brought me to a growing counter culture of old-​school shaving products that are of better quality and SAVE you money. This is how our great grandparents used to do it. Spend just a bit more money on a beautifully crafted safety razor that will last you the rest of your life, and watch the savings add up (as well as a sense that you are doing the sustainable thing). The only thing you replace are the fully metal blades which are recyclable, cheaper, longer lasting and much more efficient than their drug store counterpart. I never invested in the making the switch because I wanted to physically see the products up close, I thought «If only there were a store here in SLO offering these products.» Well, looks like I got my wish because not more than 2 months ago appears Jules D. who has the go-​to selection of high quality shaving gear… I’m am now a proud owner of a German made safety razor and some pretty awesome mug soap and aftershave thoroughly re-​discovering the art of shaving.
What’s more?
I like Jules because she’s as down to earth as any good slocal. While the quality is equal (if not more) this is Garden Street, not Melrose Ave or Rodeo drive, there’s no credit check at the door, no sizing up and no up-​sale. No, not here. Come as you are, leave with a smile. Our friend Jules who is often at the helm (what a concept) has a simple dream of offering goods of quality to the masses of men (and women) who believe in buying something once. This is the personality of Brick and Mortar versus the ambivalence of online. She believes in and offers a variety of US and European made goods that focus on the modern man with timeless taste and an affinity for Italian and British made motorcycles. Jackets, Bags, Shoes, Shirts, Wallets, Belts and other periphs (a large majority of which are animal cruelty free) that finally give men their frickin identity back in a town otherwise chalk full of feminine boutiques with that sad little bench close to the dressing rooms that tells us guys where our place is (guys, you know the bench I’m talking about whether you want to admit you sat there or not). Now guys can finally stake a claim on a place that makes them feel unashamed to walk in and actually drool over something that isn’t a car, pleasure craft or a power tool.
LA and SF quality meets the soon to be patented SLO sensibility. Long live Jules D.
