Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Helpful staff in general. We had a mechanical issue with our car rental and they were eager to help out. I was quite annoyed by the issue but they definitely had the «customer is always right» kind of attitude.

Scheduled to pick up my vehicle at 9am when the store opened, when I arrived there was no car waiting for me (or anyone else — they only had 2 trucks onsite). As I waited over 45 min to see if a car would be dropped off I was really disappointed to see the vehicles that were dropped off weren’t cleaned, they were just sent out with customers as is. I opted to have my rental transferred to the airport and was given a free ¾ tank of gas «for my trouble» of driving myself to the airport an no one having my rental car available. Yet I STILL received a dirty car from the airport as well… not the Enterprise I’m used to renting from and won’t likely return to this location.

I don’t like to write reviews that are negative, however, it’s appropriate. Been here twice now and both times they’ve tried putting me in a smaller car than the one my dealership asked for. A Nissan Versa hatchback is not midsize, in my opinion. Had to pay the upgrade fee, which was well worth it. But the staff isn’t very friendly and the employee that picked me up was a very erratic driver. If I can avoid this one in the future, I will.

I was not impressed with the customer service or their «pick you up» service. My car was rented through my dealer so I am thankful I didn’t actually have to pay for the rental. I will personally never rent from enterprise or at least this location again. I have rented from the one at the SLO airport and their customer was awesome.
However this office was rude and obviously quite understaffed. I understand being busy and understaffed but there is no excuse for being rude. When they came to get me, the guy was actually very pleasant and professional. His boss, however; was short and rude. The car was nice and clean but she rushed through the paperwork. It took quite awhile for her to get to me. I would have preferred they had picked me up from work when they were less busy which I had mentioned in our short and rushed conversation on the phone. The final straw was when I picked up the car. I called ahead to say I was coming to return the car in and hour and half. The lady on the phone quickly said «okay, thanks» and went to hang up. I interrupted her and said «just to let you know I’ll need a ride to the dealer». She said «okay» and hung up. When I arrived at Enterprise, she had not called the dealer for the voucher paperwork and she did not have someone to take me to the dealer.

Soo mad walked in had to wait 40 min while the lady talked on her cell phone. Then find out you need a recent water bill and another piece of mail proving your address is currant. I have rented many times not needing this info. She was very rude and I am now late for my god sons shower. DO NOT rent from them it’s nothing but a hassle they also had problems with Visa going to call visa and complain because they say it is excepted everywhere where enterprise didn’t want to take it I had more then 2 weeks with that car available and was only renting it a day.

Overcharged. Angela wrote wrong times and I didn’t notice until I got home and checked billing. I guess I use Avis next time.

A few months ago I went into to rent a car from this branch. The people working in this branch were rude, unprofessional. They gave me the impression that they had no desire to honor the special rate I had book on the company’s website. I felt extremely mistreated, cancelled my reservation and went to another rental company for my weekend rental. I will never use Enterprise again.

I have rented from this branch several times and they are the hardest working people around. They go to great lengths to get me into a car when I need one and I never feel hurried along. They always explain new features in the car so i understand how to use it and are extremely flexible with my needs. Will use them every time.

Excellent, easy and first class. I have rented from enterprise on Los OSOS valley road in slo since I moved to the area 6 years ago. They pick you up and have you car ready to go.
The last time I rented from this location my bmw was at slo auto body and they were able to get me into a Mercedes e class. I am impressed.

I’ve rented from them a few times over the last couple of years. this location is much more convenient that having to go out to the airport.
cons: never seems to be enough people. Often only one person working. Getting a ride somewhere after drop off can take a long time. I have taken dirty cars out of the place.
Overall, I won’t stop renting at this location but I know that my expectations will probably not be met.

I rent cars from this Enterprise around once a month. In my experience the staff is great, and always flexible in trying to get me a good car. The problem is that you can’t leave your car in their parking lot, which means shuttling your car about a mile away. Sometimes that goes smoothly, and sometimes it means waiting around for somebody who is available to provide a ride– or walking. It’s annoying.

The people there are amazing and sweet except one of them. She has no customer service skills and needs an attitude adjustment. I was very unhappy with her sarcasm and snarkyness as she did it with a smile. Very disappointed.

I had to take my car in for a check up at Sunset Honda today. I still needed a car for my day, and was walked over to the Enterprise office by my service advisor at Honda (thank you JJ!)
What a surprise how excellent the desk agent was! She had enthusiasm for her job, was well informed about the cars available and was completely excellent overall.
The longest part of the transaction was when it was time for me to decide between the Jetta, the Camaro, and the Mini Cooper! She walked me out to the lot, and was telling me the insurance options and car prices as we looked at the cars… what a better way of selecting a car! Much better than when you have to choose your car based on a blasé desk agent’s description, and sight unseen! This was better, and I think: Brilliant.
It is no exaggeration to say that I was in and out, back in action, faster than I could have gotten lunch from an In and Out drive through! Amazing!
My day was a blast… zooming to my appointments and errands in an adorable Mini Cooper… what a surprising and fun delight that little car is!!!
I was further impressed to get a call from the manager of the location early this evening. He was making sure that I was well satisfied with everything.
I truly enjoy driving various cars, but rentals can sometimes be rather uninspiring. Not so with the zippy little adorable Mini Cooper! Going to Enterprise really put some fun in my day today!

Disappointed in the cleanliness of the vehicle that rented while my truck was in the body shop. When I asked the employee about it, he said «it doesn’t matter that the inside is dirty. We don’t care about that’… So I guess they are just concerned about the look of the car on the outside. But it was pretty gross, the inside of the Mazda I rented had crumbs, dust, dirt and hair. Overall I prefer National over Enterprise.

The company I work for has been working with this branch for 8 months and they have been great! Kevin is very friendly and helpful
