The management here is very poor and the service is awful. The Owners tell many lies to their customers and have no care for anyone but themselves. The food here is all frozen and not«Fresh» even the Lumpia isn’t cooked. The dishes are dirty & kitchen conditions are disgusting. This place has lies written all over it. If you’re really fillipino and you search for genuine fillipino dishes than you’ll taste how fake the food is the second you bite in! The owners argue amongst themselves daily about who’s right and wrong, who does what and when. Very unorganized and a lot of hidden drama in the kitchen. These people may come off friendly at first but they have true colors which reflect their greediness and lack of care for their customers, they just want your money. I have been warned by locals about my family and I eating here due to their poor service. There is nasty tiny bugs living in the kitchen along with dusty unclean ceilings. This place has lies written all over it. They have no true passion for this restraunt and satisfying customers, just true passion about taking your money. After hearing so many bad experiences and having plenty myself is the reason why I am finally writing this poor review about this restraunt. Please eat somewhere else, the flavor of pizza is everywhere! We’re in the Bay Area! Terrible service and care for employees and customers.

Being new to the neighborhood we definitely had to try some local food spots. This place is very hospitable and the food is good. We’ve tried their sisig pizza, toscino pizza, and a handful of their Filipino food as well all of which were delicious!

all time reliable! ted cooks well! this is the place to go for a more-or less authentic filipino food. their crispy pata is the best — no weird smell like crispy pata from other places. try their pizza too… if you have good taste then you will like it. more power to fresh pizza!

Came here again a month later as friend wanted the crispy pata. Also had the crispy liempo(fried pork belly) but that was too dry for me. Also ordered the sinigang. I make this at home so was hesitant to pay $ 12 for it but it was pretty good and you get a pretty good amount of it.

I been craving Filipino food and I’m glad I met my family here for dinner. The place is hidden in San Lorenzo and there were not much customers on a weeknight. I’m not sure why because the food were really good & flavorful. I normally like my mom’s cooking when it comes to Filipino, but this place satisfied my cravings. We had the crisp pata(yummy), lumping Shanghai(gotta eat a few + free w/Yelp check-in), sininging(love the sourness of the soup, tortang talong(eggplant omelette=delish), & Pinakbet veges(could be thicker sauce, but still yummy). Elizabeth was our server. She has a gentle presence, attentive, and lovely to talk to. Thanks for a wonderful evening. I was happy & fully satisfied.

Place looks a little sketchy outside, and inside atmosphere reeks of a bar(ahem the drunk old guy shouting foul language), but despite all of this, I had a rather enjoyable night, people watching, and singing along to old filipino love songs– with the LIVEBAND! There was so much going on that I didn’t realize it took us almost an hour and a half to get our food(we had the pizza– with half sisig and half chicken adobo which by the way was fire! And the free lumpia(with a 25 dollar purchase) when you check in) I really wanted to give 4 stars but the customer service really wasn’t impressive, there was only one waitress the whole time and she was busy mingling on the floor and took forever to get anything. There was another lady there but she kept telling me I have to wait for my waitress, even though I went up to the counter… So that really wasn’t helpful. Overall good time… Minus the service but definitely would go back if I’m craving a chicken adobo pizza. Prices were reasonable except $ 3.25 for a can of soda is a little rediculous!

4 stars because food is very good, especially their pancit! Delicious! I love this Filipino restaurant but the service here is kind of slow, they changed up their dining area from last time I came and it looks much cleaner and wider. Try it out if you’re craving Filipino food, great place.

My family and I were craving for Filipino food and we had no idea that Fresh Pizza not only serves pizza, but Filipino food. Food is pretty good. However, a bit pricey. Staff not as friendly. We’ve tried their catering service and a bit pricey. They are more pricey than Daly City where Daly City is full of Filipinos. Fresh Pizza is not our first place to go to for Filipino food. Glad we tried it.

Calamari is freaking delicious! Sisig/chicken adobo pizza is really good too. Friday nights get crackin’ with good live music. I’d come again for the calamari and music.

Crackin’ place on Friday nights and weekends. Lunch on weekends is certainly less busy. It’s strange that they also serve pizza here, but hey, why not? It’s super Filipino in the décor, atmosphere, and events held(karaōke nights and band nights). Love the free order of lumpia for appetizer just for checking into Unilocal. Crispy Pata — Crispy as promised but small portion! Not enough for 6 people to share. Lumpia — Standard. I think I prefer my mom’s homemade lumpia. Diniguan — Pig blood gravy with pork rinds. Bizarre but I’ve grown up used to this — yum!

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. She ordered the sisig, adobo pork and garlic rice and also got my complimentary free lumpia with orders of $ 25. I thought the Unilocal check in was misleading as it advertises free lumpia upon check in and not with order of $ 25 and up(pretty lame). Garlic rice and the sisig was my favorite however. The adobo was alright. The older cashier lady didn’t mine me at all and just spoke with my friend. Sorry not part of the Tagalog tribe I guess.

DRIVETODAMPAINCASTROVALLEYINSTEAD. This place is a joke. Where should I begin? Let’s start with the food. You know when you’re late for your Tita’s party because you’re on Filipino Time? Well, food is like that. Has a funny old taste, nothing seems fresh, and everything is bland. Filipino restaurants aren’t know for stellar service and this place is the worst. Slow as molasses and you have to hunt for any attention. The place itself is creppy, dark and smells funky. Like I said, do yourself a favor. Drive to Dampa in Castro Valley. It’s brighter, food is better, and the servers actually check on you.

My boyfriend and I called ahead of time to order a pizza and eat it for here. To our surprise, the place was super crackin! Once we got there, they saved a spot in the ever so crowded room for us and sat us down with our food and drinks. It was so loud in there because there was a band playing and people dancing to the music. I never would have expected this from a pizza shop! It was such great entertainment. Even though my boyfriend and I couldn’t hold a conversation because we had to shout at each other, we took turns exchanging smiles because it put us in such a good mood to see all these older folks having such a fun time. It felt like a big family reunion even though I had no idea who any of the people were. I was super impressed with the lady who was singing — she was really good at it! As for the food, we got a medium half sisig half chicken adobo for $ 13.95(including tax). I enjoyed the sisig more, whereas my boyfriend enjoyed the chicken adobo more. The size was perfect for the both of us. We even took home two slices. TIP: Spend $ 25 to get a free order of lumpia! When we left and got outside, one of the workers going back in cheerfully greeted us and said, «Thank you!!» Service was excellent, food was delicious. I would definitely come back :)

Good pizza and decent Filipino food. If you’re into bangus try the bangus sisig. It is the best! It has the salty taste of bangus with the juicy yummy taste of onions, the perfect mix. Plus if you check in on Unilocal you get free lumpia, it’s about 20 small pieces. My only complain is that the service is kinda slow, last time I was there we waited 1 hour for our food and there were only 2 other tables there with us. Before that I was with a girlfriend and we had to wait again an hour for our food, this time there were more people but maybe half of the restaurants max capacity. Overall, food is great but don’t go here if you’re hungry or in a timed food break.

Their food is good, sisig pizza is unique, however I will give their Catering and Catering Service 1 star. Unprofessional and deceiving. — I called on Friday wanting a quote for a party I was hosting the following Saturday, and they didn’t give me the final price until that following Monday. — The amount of people the website said it would feed was incorrect. Small tray said it would feed 15 – 20 people. I had 30 people so I thought I would order 4 trays plus 2 large pizzas. When I asked to confirm how much my order would feed, they said«up to 20 people.» What?! If a small tray feeds 15 – 20, and I order 4, it should feed 60 – 80! His wife explained that it was because I was ordering 4DIFFERENT trays, so everyone is going to want to try each tray and therefore would only feed up to 20 people. I’m sorry, but that does not make any sense whatsoever. Just because there are different trays doesn’t mean your stomach gets bigger. To go from a small tray that can feed 20 people to only 5 is a HUGE difference. I called a different caterer and cancelled my order with them. I was so upset and stressed since it was only a few days from the event. However, I left a message thanking them for their time and Ted replied nicely for the opportunity for the quotation. I also emailed them to kindly suggest that their website be updated since it seems that the small tray can only realistically feed 5 – 10 people, but I have not received a response. I believe they are nice people, but this was just extremely unprofessional to me. It wasn’t until I was told from someone else that they used Fresh Pizza for a debut and Ted lied about staying for the whole event that I decided I should write a Unilocal review and give them 1 star to show their lack in good catering service. Lying about how many people your tray can feed and promising your customers you can stay for a whole event when you can’t is extremely unprofessional. I probably won’t come back to the restaurant again either since it is overpriced anyway.

I’ve tasted a lot of my favorite traditional Filipino foods infused in burritos and tacos. My latest encounter was a Filipino food infused pizza! I had Fresh Pizza in my bookmarks for quite sometime. Since I was in the area, I decided to make a trip here after my an appointment. This place didn’t open till 5pm, but I did arrive ten minutes after five. The restaurant was empty so the ordering was a cake walk. When I went to place my order, the gentlemen assisting was very polite and friendly. I inquired on ordering a pizza to go that contained a half order of chicken adobo and the other half of pork sisig on the pizza. Don’t let the name of the restaurant fool you. It may seem that they serve only pizza hence the name of the establishment, but they also double as a Filipino restaurant. So with that being said, you can customize a pizza with traditional or Filipino toppings. They do have a check-in offer here for a free order of lumpia, but the minimum purchase is $ 25. The coupon on the Unilocal app is outdated(min. purchase $ 7.50 not valid). The pizza took about 10 — 15 minutes to prepare. While waiting for my pizza, the restaurant’s phone was ringing constantly. I guess I came at a good time before they started getting bum rushed with orders. My pizza was done during the allotted time stated. Now, I just had to fight the freeway traffic to at least enjoy this pizza while it’s still hot. The pizza was warm when I arrived at the house. The pizza had a nice presentation. You could clearly tell the pizza was customized to my liking. There was not skimping on any of the meats. The cheese was semi gooey due to cooling down from my drive home. The onions were crispy. The first slice I picked up was the chicken adobo slice. The had that soy sauce taste with that hint of vinegar. The second slice I had picked was the pork sisig slice. Every bite I took, the sisig was present at all times. The meat were a little dry, but that was expected of being baked in the oven. The pizza dough was good. What I would recommend is to request to have the pizza dough cooked well done to give it that crunch. I did enjoy that pizza. This fusion item is something I approve and recommend!

Oh my gosh, I don’t know where to start… My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday evening(6pm), first customers there. The place was relatively big. We were greeted by our waitress Sam– very friendly and sweet :). My boyfriend heard about this place from his co-worker, and she said we had to try to SISIG pizza(drools*). I love love LOVE sisig! So of course, we ordered the sisig pizza. We got the half and half combo, half sisig amd half garlic chicken. Although the sisig pizza was , the garlic chicken was mediocre, just OK… We also got complimentary lumpias($ 7 – 8 value) for checking into Unilocal.Amazing deal! We will be coming back in the near future to try the other flipino dishes and pizza.(like tocino or adobo)
