After going thru three Zumba gold classes, I found Sharon. She rented for one hour the California Performing Arts building for one hour on Tuesday and Thirsdays in Castro Valley on Sommerset Ave. After coming three years, she no longer teaches but she found two new teachers on those days to take her place. The replacements are Bobbi on Tuesdays and Robin on Thursdays. Bobbi is still adjusting her routines to fit us, but she always listens to our comments about what we think works for our group and what doesn’t. She’s very energetic and friendly and we do have fun with her. Robin also is a wonderful teacher. We go in smiling and leave laughing. Her routines were right on the mark. It’s been an adjustmement for our group because we have been so used to Sharon’s routines and now we have to adjust to two different teachers. It’s taken a few months but we are getting there and beginning to love both teachers.

I’ve been attending Sharon’s classes for almost a year. From day one I knew this class was just what I needed. Honestly, who really wants to exercise? However, if you can exercise and have fun doing it… that is for me. I’m a mom, wife and work full-time. I have high blood pressure and since going to Zumba my blood pressure has been normal. I’ve lost weight and maintain the weight lost. I take 2 – 3 hrs a week to focus on myself… because I’m worth it. Sharon is amazing!!! I look forward to going to her class and so happy to be greeted by her bright smile. Sharon is imperfect just like the rest of us… her students don’t judge one another, but everyone must follow one rule… which is move at your own safe pace… but move something and have fun… and we do.

I love Zumba and I love Sharon! I’ve been doing Zumba Gold with Sharon since July 2011 and am so happy with the impact it has had on my life and health. I’m a dancer at heart and this form of exercise fits me like a glove. At over 200 lbs, it was a challenge to get my feet moving at first, but with time it got easier and pounds started to melt away. I look forward to each and every class and Sharon makes sure to mix it up a little to keep something new to learn. Sharon is also careful to give alternative moves for those who have difficulty and it’s OK to do so. Just keep moving! *Zumba Gold is a class geared for older people and beginners with lower impact than Zumba Standard.*

I love Zumba with Sharon… she is great, personable and very welcoming to all those who enter her class. I am over 200 lbs and the moves are friendly to my joints so I am motivated to go. The music is great and I find myself dancing to the tunes in my head afterwards! She is a great instructor and I am hooked… Can’t wait for the Tuesday and Thursday classes to begin in Hayward. Sharon rocks!

Zumba with Sharon is the most fun I have ever had exercising. You don’t feel like it’s a workout, just a fun dance class. Do bring a towel and water, you’ll need it. Sharon makes it a fun experience. I tried Zumba once with another instructor, but it wasn’t the same at all. Come join us with Sharon at Dream Courts.

I want to start with I haven’t really worked out in years… and in March 2011 I decided it was time so I signed up for a Zumba class with Sharon and I have to say it’s changed the way I think of exercise because I’ve found something I love and Sharon is the best instructor! I love her classes of Zumba! I’ve done Zumba and Zumba toning and love them both. The music is fun and Sharon always has a smile on her face to keep you motivated. It’s ok if you can’t follow the moves or dance steps at first just keep moving and keep coming and eventually you’ll get it so bring water & a towel cuz you’ll sweat! Check her out at .

I attended Sharon’s very first class in November and was immediately hooked! The music, the moves, and the energy Sharon brings to the party is totally contagious. Sharon breaks down all the moves and takes the time to demonstrative alternative movements for those that need it(bad knees, arthritis, etc.). Sharon’s Zumba is one big massive party and great for all ages. My 9yr old and 11yr old LOVE to Zumba with Sharon.

I really love Zumba & I have to say that I have tried Zumba with about 5 different instructors. Sharon by far is my favorite. I love the music, her routines, and the way she takes the time to break down the moves she uses. It really does feel like a dance party. I come all the way from San Jose to go to her class in Hayward & that makes it around trip of approximately 70 miles around trip and I make this trip twice a week because I love her class. Sharon is a very fun, friendly, organized, personable, professional, caring individual. You will find yourself hooked after attending just one of her classes. When you come don’t expect to get the moves all in one class, it takes time. I have been going to Sharons classes just under 3 months and i hate to miss, so come enjoy & get hooked on Zumba with Sharon. You won’t be disappointed.

Are you ready for fun in your workout? Zumba is a party and you should be partying with Sharon! I’ve been enjoying Zumba fun with Sharon for about two months now. I was a little hesitant about being able to keep up with the choreography, but that’s never a problem. All the moves can be modified to accommodate any health restrictions you have. My best advice is to keep moving to the HOT music. Be sure to bring a towel and some water, you will need it :-D Zumba is MUYCALIENTE!
