Shades Of Color

This shop is the one of the most professional places I have been to. Friendly people greet you with a smile. Up to date with all the new styles. If you do not know what you want done or if you do you will never be disappointed with the end results. The staff works hard to make sure you are satisfied and if you are not they don’t stop until you are.

I just moved to San Leandro and found this gem.
Shades of Color has a friendly atmosphere. The staff were very nice and hardworking. Weaves, styling, and hair color were being done to other clients while I was there. Staff were working on multiple people while someone was getting dried, setting color, etc. I was amazed on how many people were getting helped, all with completely different needs, hair types, etc.
I called on the day and they were nice enough to fit me in. They were clearly busy, but I didn’t feel like they were rushing me out despite the late hour.
My stylist was the owner herself, Zinell. She’s got cool hair so I was excited to be there. She asked me a few great questions and then got to work. The shampooing was really so relaxing that I didn’t realize my back was getting wet till I sat up. I didn’t care, I was putty at that point.
I walked out with soft, silky hair. My hair was gorgeous and smelled amazing.
A few cons that don’t affect their rating: The salon could use an improved website to promote their many services. They also need a salon makeover to better reflect the high quality work that Zinell and her staff are doing there. A few improvements and this place may be so popular that I may never get to make same day appointments again.
This is definitely my new salon and will likely be my daughter’s go-​to place.

Its such a warm feeling while in Shades of Color; not only are the Stylists nice but the Clients are inviting… Theres a real family vibe throughout the salon no matter what day you visit. I was someone that did my own perms with few salon visits but since going to Zinell, I haven’t touched my hair in two years now…

Excellent stylists. Very positive and inviting atmosphere, when u walk through the door everybody greets you with a smile. My Stylist Nikita is a true master at her craft. If you want a professional weave, a nice flat iron style, color, or taper cut, you name the style, they got you!
