This deli is located at the front of the liquor store. They take cash only, but you can place your order and pay at the liquor store section with debit or credit card. Sandwiches are amazing. I’ve ordered the pastrami, salami, mortadella, turkey, tuna and veggie and have not been disappointed. I usually order the sandwich on a soft roll and the bread is always fresh as well as the other ingredients, i.e. lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, etc. Call your order ahead of time as there is usually a line during lunch hour. However, they move pretty quickly so it’s not a long wait but if you’re in hurry, call your order in. This deli is a hidden gem and I usually pick up a sandwich for lunch about 2 times a week. The owner and her staff are so polite, efficient and professional.

10 times better than subway sandwiches. I like to support local business whenever I can. I tired their sandwich today during lunch. It reasonably priced and food was so good

Used to be my favorite lunch spot. But the place completely falls to shit when ever the lady who owns the deli isn’t there. The lady who takes orders in her place doesn’t listen to u a bit and asks multiple times what your order is after you’ve repeated your self multiple times. And even after that they still find a way to fuck it up and leave out ingredients. The sandwich I get consists of four ingredients including the bread, I can see if it was complicated but how do u fuck up four thing ingredients?

When I think of this place two words come to mind — fresh and consistency. They never use stale bread and they pride on using fresh ingredients! The lettuce, onions, and pickles are always crunchy. They put just the right amount of sauce to keep the sandwich from being soggy. I’ve been coming here for years and I have yet to be disappointed. Only gripe is that they are cash only but they have an atm machine inside. Or you can just pay with your card at the liquor side of the store.

The deli in this place is by far one of my favorites. Even more so because of what you get for such a small price. So far I’ve had their Chicken Salad and the Smoked Turkey and it’s left me wanting more. I learned my lesson from the first time not to order side dishes or chips from the store because then I end up wasting such a great sandwich but they do make some good sides too and the liquor store has an array of goodies if you feel like. I reiterate though, those sandwiches are too good to waste.

I was in town on business and discovered this place on the ap while looking for a quick lunch. I wouldn’t exactly call it a restaurant because there really aren’t any tables or chairs. It’s basically a sandwich stand located inside of a convenience store. I went to this place twice while I was in town and it was delicious both times. It seems to get quite busy at lunch time so be prepared to wait a few minutes. The bread, meat, and other ingredients were all fresh and made to order. The staff was very friendly which is always a plus. The only thing that kind of bothered me was that the cashier would go between handling money and making sandwiches without washing her hands(there was a sink within arms reach) or wearing gloves. Just keep that in mind if you’re a germaphobe. Overall it was quite good and certainly blows Subway and Jimmy Johns out of the water.

I go here all the time for lunch. They are really good large sandwiches and are always fresh made to order. Their tuna is always delicious, as the rest of their sandwiches. Great quality and inexpensive. I call ahead because they do get a good lunch rush for orders.

Best sandwich spot hands down! Amazingly fresh and affordable! I paid 9.75 $ for a Roast beef sandwich w/avocado, and a ½ pint of potato salad. mmmmmm! Plus the sandwich is HUGE, I can never finish a whole one. Always save the other half for later. Love it!

HELLODELISANDWICHES!!! Marina Liquors is located in the same shopping center as Dream Fluff Donuts 2 for everyone who read my last review. There must be something in the pavement on the corner Marina blvd and Doolittle because everyplace I eat at, I fall in love with. This is pretty much the same liquor and deli you would find any where else with bottles of liquor, sodas, snacks, and a small deli counter ready to feed you. The sandwiches that come out of this deli are terrific. I either get turkey or salami sandwich and I always get the sourdough roll and that’s where the magic happens. «bow chick a wow wow» that’s love making music people. The bread is so fresh and so clean and delicious from the first to the last bite. It’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside just like a cuddly armadillo. Besides the sandwiches I haven’t eaten much else from Marina Liquors, but the staff is always friendly and usually if there is a line at the counter they move through everyone pretty quick. The only thing that I’m not a fan of at Marina Liquors is they have a 50 cent charge to use a credit card. There is no place to sit down and enjoy your sandwich so be prepared to take it somewhere else, and if you don’t know the area San Leandro Marina is right around the corner.

Eons ago, I used to work in San Leandro. Let’s be honest, there aren’t that many great places to find good food out that way. I remember my boss telling me that the best sammiches are from the Marina liquor store. Excuse me? Yes, I heard him correctly the first time. Soon after having worked in the company long enough, I discovered that almost every co-worker would go to Marina Liquor and Deli to pick up sammiches for lunch. Surprisingly, they made some damn good sammies! There was always a line during the lunch hour. My suggestion is to call ahead and just go to pick up. Their deli style sandwiches were very filling and only about $ 5 – 6 each. My favorite thing on their menu was the veggie sammich. They used fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, sprouts and avo… lots of avo with your choice of cheese and bread. Another goodie was their egg salad sammich. The ladies that work at the deli are über friendly. They keep the deli counter super clean and always wear gloves to prepare the food. The guy that works at the liquor counter was pretty nice too. He handles all the credit card transactions if you don’t have cash to pay at the deli counter. There’s no place to sit and eat your food there so be prepared to take it to go. I think that Marina Liquor and Deli is probably one of San Leandro’s best kept secrets.

Sandwich shop in a liquor store? Best kept secret in this ‘hood! Get there around 11:00 — 11:30, beat the crowd. This is a very good work day lunch with a generous selection of sandwiches to choose from. With a drink, sammich and chips for under 10 bucks, you won’t stretch your expense account with a to go lunch here. Don’t let the sketchy-looking part of the neighborhood thing fool you. Great selection of wine and beer for after work too.

Marina liquor is a big store besides beer, they have lots of wines, a deli, selling sammies at 4.99, mex ice cream @99, a dedicated lotto selling station, etc. microbrew selection small and pricey(comparably to whole foods) and big bottles micros just a few bottles. all itmes priced so there’s no sticker shock. pour: fosters premium ale(25.4oz, 5.5%, 2.09+) surprisingly smooth, goes well with a steak. full bodied, little bite, little buzz 2.5 stars on draught: –lots of parking –bagel store in same lot sells sammies @4.50

Well made sandwiches in a snap! From a liquor store? Okay, they aren’t your typical corner liquor store, they’re more like a mini bev mo. They definitely have more than just bottles that fit into a brown paper bag. But besides the booze they have a deli counter! Sandwiches are made to order, just tell ‘em what you want. It’s mainly cold sandwiches, although I have seen a hot sandwich option. I usually order«smoked turkey and provolone on dutch crunch, with spicy mustard, no onions and light mayo» — which means that it comes with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles too. Usually takes less than 5 mins from ordering to get the sandwich. Total cost is $ 5 and some change, so much tastier than the $ 5 foot-longs down the street. THEYDOACCEPTPLASTIC! If you don’t have cash then bring your receipt to the other counter for payment.
