My favorite Chinese food in the East Bay! I love their chicken fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp, salt and pepper chicken, and Mongolian beef. This is very much one of those hole in the walls that has absolutely amazing food. With that being said it is not the best place to go to sit and eat but if you’re starving, it’ll do. Super Mom and Popish– it seems like they make everything fresh(tastes like it) so for the reason there is typically a long wait. Expect to place your order and have to wait at least 20 – 30 minutes for it to be ready. I always try to order ahead so that by the time I get there it’ll be ready or almost ready. Sometimes you have to call a couple of times before you can get someone on the line– they can get pretty busy. **TIP** Do not come here during the 3:00PM-4:00PM hour, they are closed for their lunch break at that time. Expect there to probably be people waiting to place their order right when they open back up at 4:00PM.

They have certainly lost their touch! I at here about two weeks ago and the fried rice and prawns is not what it use to be. The rice was under seasoned and they don’t put the veggies in the rice like they use to. Prior to this visit I was there about 4 months ago and something was different then. In tried it again I. Good that it was just me. Not so much

I didn’t expect for this place to be really good Chinese food. Portions are small but it’s very tasty and you don’t taste too much oil and MSG. Their chicken wings is really good!

I want to give this place 5 stars so very badly! The food is absolutely delicious this is my favorite Chinese food spot! They are also very accommodating to make me Vegetarian hot and sour soup! But the missing star is for the fact that once they get to a certain point of busyness they just stop answering they’re phones and it gets kind of frustrating, and you can go into the restaurant and here the phone just ringing and no one answers! Which I understand why they ignore the calls because it gets so busy, but it seems like they should come up with maybe an online ordering system or something? But like I said the food is AWESOME it’s just the service is sometimes frustrating!

We ordered the hot and sour soup which was just okay, green beans with chicken, edible but not amazing, a mixed vegetable dish which was full of fresh veggies but the flavors got lost in the sauce and a beef dish with ho fun noodles which were not that fresh, also not very memorable. It was like all the sauces tasted the same and there was too much same-sauce. The portions were huge and the vegetables were still a little crunchy and fresh, which I liked. The leftovers were good the next day. Probably won’t come back. Took forever to get our dishes because they were so busy with their take-out orders. Seems like a very popular place for take out. Meh.

Food was good!!! Customer service was horrible!!! The main older lady at the front counter was incredibly rude!!! The food makes me want to go back. But the customer service makes me not ever want to go back. So my wife and I WILLNOT be going back. So disappointing.

I’ve been coming to this almost 9yrs now, it’s only ran by 3−4ppl daily. They do an amazing job with the amount of business they get. I here some ppl talk bout they never pick up the phone, maybe ppl called around 3pm when they take their break, or it could’ve been a holiday, or they just didn’t have the time to pick up the phone. Food is just great, I would eat there everyday if I had to. Sesame chicken is one of my favorites, salt and pepper fish fillet you have to try.

Called four times for over a minute each and no answer! Food looks good and was calling in a large order for pick up. Ridiculous

This is not a review of the food, which I gave up trying to order. This is a review of the phone service. I tried calling to order ahead. Called three times and the phone just rang and rang. I guess I’m not eating here tonight. Or ever, probably. It’s too bad because the food sounds good! But if the restaurant is so small, the staff should be prepared to take orders by phone. Granted, this is Friday night, but I’m still disappointed.

Little Namking, a legit hole in the wall place that I would only do take out from. Why? Walking in here is like breathing in a chili pepper factory… no windows… not real ventilation system. Everyone chokes at least once and you will walk out smelling like Mongolian beef, guaranteed. After a quick run in for takeout, I usually still have to do a couple dolphin hair flips to get the smell out. I witnessed some hangry customers the first day stepping in. I’m always that awkward bystander that gets dragged into situations. Luckily, I got a clean getaway this time and got to enjoy my yummy food at home without a scratch. Score! Some recommendations: Salt and Pepper Fish Filet Mongolian Beef Chow Fun Some No-no’s: Hot and Sour Soup

This place is so good. It is truly the best Chinese food that I have ever had. I have eaten at hundreds of Chinese food joints, and I would make the hour drive just to bring my family here to eat. The Mongolian beef is the best I have had, fried rice is awesome, soup is delicious. It’s the best. Eat here, or you will die.

After reading the reviews I thought to try it. The honey fried chicken was good! The prawns w/lobster sauce wasn’t bad and the chicken fried rice was ok. I’ll have to try something else next time.

This is the only Chinese food that I’m ordering from now on. I ordered the Crispy Crab Cheese Puffs, Singapore Curry Rice Noodle, Dry-Fried Honey Chicken Wings and Chicken Breast w/Eggplant and Basil to go. It was all delicious. The Crab Puffs were stuffed full and the best I’ve had in a while. The wings were amazing. I was impressed and I’ll definitely be going back.

Came here to try this place out. Ordered the salt and pepper wings, Mongolian beef and steamed rice to go. The wings were delicious. Cooked well done in the inside and fresh and crispy on the outside with just the right amount of seasoning. Mongolian beef was nice and hot. Enough juice and not dry. However they can use a little less onion though as they tend to chop up an onion and put it in your plate. As far as the steamed rice goes it ok. On a side note if you plan on having dinner, put your order in 40 minutes in advanced, like seriously no joke. This place is good. Give it a try folks.

Went there again to try the dry fried honey wings and they are almost like the San Tung wings in SF. Close enough to save a drive an the $ 5 bridge toll. These are dynamite! Crispy savory sweet, garlicky. what more can you ask for. there was a 25 minute wait to get these. but well worth the wait.

The Dry Fried Honey Chicken Wings are on par with what you’ll find in Santungs in SF… Minus the crowd and the wait. Not too many people dining in during the evening and normally there’s parking right on the street. Most people I saw coming in were picking up orders but that didn’t stop the lady from giving us amazing service. The Szechuan Beef and chow fun was great as well! I don’t imagine the rest of the menu being far from these three things. Definitely making a return trip back here.
