Best Price Mattress

Papa bear still on the prowl for the «perfect» mattress. Best Price is half showroom, half storeroom. less than 2 dozen models on floor. all have the Best label .
only one model for spring twins (199) available

so best price is the best price available
but no fit, had to from best mattress split.

I went here yesterday after having been to many mattress stores. I hate high-​pressure salesmen. I know what I want, I’ve done my research. I walked in, Nick said hi, asked if I needed help, then let me wander a bit. As I stood looking, he came over, offered some info, told me his experiences, which were things I’d read online. All in all, an excellent experience. The prices here are great, the people are friendly, and the products are good. The showroom isn’t the prettiest, but that never bothered me.

Truly the best prices! Arrived at 5:30 left before 6pm with a mattress that fit in the car! The best part was the mattress is awesome! Nick was great and I will definitely go back to get another mattress!

I wanted to find a quality mattress for a guest room (wanted to make sure my overnight guests sleep as good or better than I do), without spending an arm and a leg. BPM was such a find! I was inclined to go the Costco route, but decided to check out this store on a whim. The service was great (Nicholas) and he was quite accommodating in letting me test out all of the full sized mattresses they had in the store multiple times… I had Goldilocks-​syndrome. They were all high quality, very comfortable (3 memory foam options, one coil and one coil/​pillowtop) in the full-​size. It became hard to make a decision! I could not believe the prices offered (even better than IKEA and much higher quality). I had been looking at Costco, but once at BPM, discovered that their stock was just as good and much friendlier on the wallet. Nicholas offered to ship the mattress via Fedex for free to my home in the EastBay for delivery within 2 – 3 days, but I discovered that the box could fit into the back of my car as it came «shrunk in a box». Don’t be fooled, it expanded at home immediately once opened to normal size.
I was also offered a free memory foam pillow with purchase, and am already loving it and sleeping better. Now considering going back for a second mattress to replace my own… my guests may now sleep better than I do! I will return for my next mattress purchase…
P. S. Parking in front of the store is a random 24 minutes, so ask to park in the lot in the back if you think you’ll take time in choosing.

I bought a Temperpedic Deluxe about 5 years ago. Best mattress I’ve ever slept on but it was over $ 2,000! But at that time I couldn’t find a generic memory foam that was equivalent. Lost that mattress in the divorce and haven’t slept right since.
Fast forward to last week. I have been following all the new memory foam companies and alternatives. Everything from Costco, build it yourself tutorials… Buy a 6″ topper, a 4″ topper, a 3″ topper, stack and you have a cheap alternative. This all to say that I have put in hours of research on the topic.
BPM is pretty much perfect. They don’t try to sell 50+ models. They sell good, simple, mattresses. They have 3 memory foam models and three combo foam and spring models. All come as a bed in a box. I got the top of the line memory foam in King size. The box was 48“x24“x24″
You get $ 100 (at least on the king size) off when you buy it in store. And like everyone else they threw in two memory foam pillows. That is to say that for $ 750 I got a better mattress then my old «deluxe» Temperpedic. I believe the saying is: Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
The bad? I decided to go whole hog and bought the 14″ high steel bed platform. It’s an alternative to box springs. BPM charged me $ 200. The next day I see that Walmart has the exact same frame for $ 120. I called them back and asked them to price match. They didn’t quite do that. They did offer me the amount that I would have gotten had I returned their product minus their 15% restocking fee. While it did save me the hassle of actually having return the frame and then buy it from Walmart it was not a «price match» and made me feel a little less about the whole experience. I guess that they were setting themselves up as the simple, easy priced, no hassle mattress store and to try and sell something like that with such a huge markup seemed counter intuitive to their message. Or maybe I’m just being a crybaby. Anyway I took 1 star off for that.
Will I recommend them? Oh yeah, and to everyone that I know at that. But I’ll also tell my friends to just order the foundation from Walmart :(

After trying my friend’s memory foam mattress I knew I had to make the investment and get one myself. I don’t think they are right for everyone but if you like your bed to wrap itself around you without feeling too soft then you should try one out. I looked at various places and was distressed at the high prices I was seeing. I started considering getting a second hand one then I saw an ad for Best Price on Craigslist. I drove over and was pleased with their simple but well organized store. I don’t want to pay for the cost of a show room and lots of sales people. I tried out a few mattresses but wasn’t sure yet so I told the gentleman I’d return the next day. He did not pressure me to buy now and said he’d be happy to help whenever I was ready.
I was so pleased with the prices I saw and service I did go back and bought the Lux Touch Ultra. I felt the entry level one was too soft but this one was just right. The guy there threw in two foam pillows and I took my mattress home. If you have a mid size sedan with seats that fold down or something larger you should be able to fit the box in your vehicle as I was able.
The bed is very good quality. I and my wife are very happy with it. One of the best things is I am a toss and turner but this bed doesn’t shake all over when one person moves so she can sleep undisturbed. Definitely recommend Best Price and foam mattresses.
