Talbots

I have shopped at Talbots for decades and at this location since it opened. Because of my experience there last Saturday I will never go back to this store. I would rather drive farther since this store has recently restaffed with inexperienced (at best) and rude (at worst) staff. Trying to save money on staff will cost money in sales.

I have no earthly business reviewing Talbots. My only experience here is that my mom (64) likes shopping online and when the one by her house doesn’t have something she whips out her Ipad and orders it for a hold to either South Coast or Here since she knows I commute from SD to OC and will pick things up for her.
I can say that my near monthly pick ups are getting out of hand. It’s bright, it’s clean, the staff is friendly. I haven’t worked retail in over a decade, but man they love to wrap your stuff up. I think it’s procedure so now I tell them not to. I just give my name and my mom’s name and a description of the item and I’m out the door.
It’s not their fault, but parking lot nearest, not the structure is dimply lit.
