Went Christmas Eve with our family of eight.
They were so accommodating and the service was outstanding. They were all very attentive and checking to make sure the kids were doing okay. They are kid friendly.
The food was delicious, reminded me of the authentic Mexican food and red sauce that I used eat in El Paso. Home style cooking at it’s best definitely. Large portions, everyone left full and content… food coma.
Casual atmosphere.

I rate this place 2.5 stars.
Compared to Santa Ana standards, this place was below average. But for Old town SJC standards, it is above average. So this place gets 2.5. Exactly average. An acquaintance recommended this joint and I should have known better considering he was an elderly Caucasian man. No offense.
We ordered the ceviche, tacos, and enchilada. All the portions were big, but… Shrimp Ceviche was overlooked and rubbery. Avocado slices were not ripe enough. Carne asada taco was dry. And the chicken enchilada and guacamole were bland. Oh yea, and you have to pay for salsa. We didn’t even want to take home leftovers.

There carnitas are amazing! they are the best in town. All there food is amazing. My kids really like going there as well. Great cocktails. wish the chips and salsa where a little better though. My wife really likes them though.
