I had their Sunday lunch buffet. It’s true what they say; you get what you pay for. Low price for poor quality food. Pizza is usually good, but not on the buffet. Pizza was thin and soggy. Terrible!!!

Just not great. We have lived in San Juan Bautista for a couple years and for just as long this place has been just so so. The teenagers working there just don’t care about quality. We asked for light sauce and extra cooked and it was a soggy oily mess. Toppings just dumped on and the bacon didn’t even seem like it was cooked. Seriously a bummer coming from the only option for pizza in town, or for that matter the next 12 miles. My husband said the 3 young girls working tonight seemed more interested in talking gossip than doing their job. Get it together, Pizza Factory!

Gluten free pizza is actually really good. Didn’t expect good pizza in this small town while passing through. Its a pizzeria family style pizza.

Stopped there on our way back home. We had a fussy baby at that point and the highway was backed up. The salad bar was good but the pizza was ehh. The sauce looks freshly made but it needs garlic and/or oregano. Had the leftover pizza the next day and it was still blah. Even the salami lacked flavor. I have has their wings before which were good. Maybe they had an off day.

Excellent customer service! Yummy pizza and bread sticks! We came on a busy night. An employee came to our table and told us our pizza was burnt, they have to make it again. He asked what can we do for you. So we asked for some breadsticks to keep our hungry child from having a melt down. I was so impressed with their kindness. Some pizza places would have left is sitting there and not said a word. At pizza factory they were very apologetic and got our breadsticks to us very promptly and soon after we got our pizza. They actually mistakenly made two pizzas so we got one for free. That was way too much food for us, so we found a group of homeless people and gave them our free pizza. Thank you pizza factory for taking care of us!!! We will be back!!!

Went here for the pizza buffet for lunch. Price seemed reasonable and the pizza was adequate. There was an older white gentleman who I presume was the owner working the register at the time. This guy was totally insane. He started yelling at another customer for eating some outside food. I realize you may have a rule about bringing outside food in but you don’t yell at people who are trying to give you money in a crowded restaurant. The whole experience made me extremely uncomfortable and I will never return to this restaurant.

Came in at 7pm the young guy working was very friendly and made a bombass pizza. Beer was ice ice cold. Skinny girl didn’t seem too friendly as she rung us up. Nice atmosphere. Good food

My husband and I love there pizza. Today I received great customer service. I was carting my 10 week old baby in to pick up pizza to go. The nice cashier asked me if she could help me carry the pizza to my car. I am so thankful for her generosity. She deserves a raise.

We thought we would try their lunch buffet today. The salad bar was top notch! the pizza’s were out for a while and it was really obvious. Their pizza is average at best, it is not the best pizza around that’s for sure but it was good enough for lunch. The dough used gets hard really fast which is not a good thing. Being Italian, I know what a good dough/crust tastes like and this is not Italian. Overall, it was an average experience, average price and overall the pizza was below average.

Pretty strange teens working in there late night, said hello/how are you and was greeted with a big shoulder shrug, no verbal response and a glare, so a blurted out my order and waited awkwardly for 40min. Besides the service, the pizza was edible. Needless to say, I got that to go.

I normally like the pizza at pizza factory. The dough is chewy, sauce is ok, toppings are pretty good. What I don’t like about pizza factory is their general prices. When did pizza get so damn expensive? $ 20 for a large one topping that is probably 12″ across is not my idea of value. But, I digress. It is pretty good pizza. My biggest complaint, though, is about a recent experience here. The owner was at the location running the cash register. He was beyond rude. And, not only that, he was obnoxious. After dealing with this ass at the register(hey, do you know that the customer comes first in every successful business??), he goes on a tirade with his employees about his dealings with other crappy customers earlier in the day. I was at my table, listening to this, and I thought this would be the last time I ever support this moron’s business.

If you have a Unilocal offer honor it. Small town, hand tossed pizza. Good quality ingredients but topping don’t go to the edge. Ie lots of crust on a high priced pizza. They seemed to be always understaffed with stressed Management. So your pie will take longer then you think. Also if you want to watch the game YOUROUTOFLUCK. They have Dish Network not Direct TV! So no NFLMLBNHL etc. Cheap ass owner prob. The pizza good for a small town but they have issues.

I placed a phone order and asked the woman taking the order if they had anything along the lines of a margherita pizza with basil and tomatoes. She said they did and asked if I wanted cooked or raw tomatoes. When we picked it up it had dried basil flakes all over it. She looked at me like I was crazy and so did her co-worker, when I asked if they had fresh basil. They obviously didn’t. Okay, miscommunication on my part. Should have explored that a little more. The bathroom was extremely dirty. The pizza was put on corrugated paper and the pizza was stuck to it. Each slice you had to peel/pick paper off of. The pizza itself wasn’t horrible it was simply adequate(the dried basil aside which made it taste even worse). Staff wasn’t friendly. Place was dirty. The paper liner in the box is just bizarre. Vertigo Coffee next store has exceptional wood fired pizza, but they were closed at the time so we thought we would give Pizza Factory a try.

I was coerced by others to grab pizza here in our trip through San Juan. This place has not changed one bit. to me its an absent owner and the mice are playing. they have the tools to be better but dont care.

This is a San Juan favorite of mine. When I go, it is usually on Fridays for the lunch buffet to take a break from work . The owner is amazing. He is a local guy that is serious about his business. He really knows how to make a good pie. When it is busy and I show up for lunch, he always lets me get my food and pay after, in order to skip any waiting if there is a crowd. When lunch is over, he walks around with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for all of the customers! One time, he made a bag of chocolate cookies for my pregnant wife, she wasn’t even there and it was«on the house»! It was awesome, I didn’t even ask for them. This guy is no joke, Im a customer for life. I love sitting for an hour and comfortably zoning out while watching the tube and stuffing myself to death with pizza. The TV is always on, and the pizza and salad bar are always ready to go. It is a great escape during the middle of your work day. Pizza Factory has become one of my favorite pizza joints ever. I enjoy inviting friends for lunch because I always know they will have a great time.
