After a long work week, I decided to treat myself to a much needed pedicure! I’m glad I decided to give this place a try. This is a «hole in the wall» nail salon hidden in the Eastside. I called Phu at 1ish and her next appt. was at 4:30pm. Phu is very skilled… she is quick, yet she does an excellent job. $ 17 for a pedicure is an awesome deal. She removed all the dead skin off my toes and shaved off the calluses as well. In addition, I got a really nice foot massage! Thank you, Phu. I will definitely be back. Thank you Chanmao for the recommendation!

This place is great on prices if you’re watching your budget. Unfortunately you get what you pay for though. I actually went here for over 10 years with the same lady and she always gave me what I wanted until recently. I think she’s getting older and she’s starting to become stubborn and careless. I always asked for short nails and she started leaving them way too long, I would end up filing them down at home! She also began to cut me, hurt me and I would end up bleeding, OUCH! Sad to say, I have begun to look elsewhere for a good nail place. Recommendations anyone?

It’s old, small, everything is ductaped and they also sell sunglasses, purses and toe fungus serum. What can I say? it’s my «where everybody knows my name» the price is right for my pocket and it’s a hop and a skip away. I can’t complain.
PS: this in no way means we are monogamous, Vicki. I’m still playing the field.

I have been going to Vicki’s Nails since I was 16! I HEART the work of Phu. She has me hooked on her pedicures! I never feel rushed in her hands, takes her precious time to get my toes open shoes ready. If you want to get your nails done, I recommend Helen, but leave your pretty little toes for Phu. The shop is located in somewhat a shady area but hey the best services are always the little small mom and pops shop!
Pedicure: $ 15
Nails: $ 15 and up
Parking: Sux! I would suggest late Saturday or Sundays afternoon. Forget about Friday evenings! Make an appointment.
Restroom: Small but just do you do and get out. :-)
