It’s really a bummer that after meaning to try this place for so long, I was only able to visit for the first(and last) time on their closing day last week. The wait for my sandwich was little bit lengthy for the fact that I was the only patron ordering at the time but the quality of the food was enough to make me fuggetaboutit. I wish the owners luck in their venture to get back to their roots and make pies to sell at grocery stores in the area, though I could really go for another brie and apple sandwich whenever they’re ready to sell them, but it may only be in my dreams.

The place is cute. The food is good. A lot of space to eat. The staff is nice. And the coffee is amazing.

We’re so glad we found this place! Honestly, we come her for their fluffy French omelettes. The coffee is good too. While the omelettes are definitely our favorite, we’ve tried other items like the desserts and quiche and haven’t been disappointed yet. The food is good. Servers are friendly. Must try!

To be honest, the appeal of this place is mostly the design, and its air of hip«modernism». But even that made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. It was because they tried too hard to be something they weren’t. I’ve had a lot of food at places that are what this place is trying to be. At those places, the French toast wouldn’t be hard and there wouldn’t be powdered sugar all over the place. In fact, it seemed like everything we ordered had sort of crusted over, as if they had been sitting around for a while. When you have food that isn’t completely fresh, presented in a fresh, clean manor, it makes the food taste worse than it would have tasted without the façade. Anyway, I would have really enjoyed the French toast if it hadn’t been hard. However, I didn’t, because it was. And my company didn’t rave about their orders either. Too long a wait, not good enough food. Great presentation and tasteful combinations.

What a great name for this little gem… it truly is top notch, and it’s easy to keep going back. Now that I am living back in South Bay for a while, I had lost any direction to some good spots for a nice coffee and bite to eat. Being in the job search, I am bringing my computer everywhere, so its critical(and I mean critical) to have a good«out of the house spot» for sending those applications out and enjoying a cup(or four) of joe. The food too, I mean, wow. Probably the most perfect panini I’ve ever tasted. Its a nice, simple menu, with seasonal options, but at least go in there soon and try the Fig and Tapenade sandwich. just delectable. If I could magically snap my fingers and add anything to this place, I would make it a bit more«cozy» with warmer paint colors, rugs, and even sofas if possible. It has a little bit of a modern look to it, which is just not my personal style, so I think adding some of those elements would help them stand out from those standard Peets or Starbucks.

it was Saturday morning n we were hoping to b able to get into The Table at 12pm for brunch.(ok, I am way too optimistic.) the wait was an hour n a half, which probably meant we weren’t going to b able to eat there at all.: /(kitchen closes at 2pm.) so we had to give up that plan n walked begrudgingly down the street to find something else. we saw Top Nosh Café n went in cuz they seemed to have brunch items also. it’s a very casual café where u order n pay for the food at the counter. the customers pick where they sit n they will bring the plates to them. I was a bit confused at first cuz I’ve always been to brunch spots where they show u to your table n u pay at the end of the meal. so that’s what I mean by «very casual.» however I’m open to new brunch spots so I was willing to stay there n try their dishes. I was surprised that while they have good reviews on Unilocal, there wasn’t that many ppl sitting in the café around 12:30pm on a Saturday.(prime eating time.) half the tables were empty n the servers didn’t look busy at all. is there something odd about this place that we don’t know about? so I ordered their Belgian Waffle which comes with slices of banana n strawberries n a latté. I waited for about 15 minutes n got both delivered to me at the same time.(a 15 min wait is fine with me for food.) I took a bite of the waffle n discovered it to b very crispy n it was super light n airy as if it was nothing. it was weird to me cuz the Belgian Waffles I usually get r more dense n filling. this waffle had literally no substance. in my head I’m thinking«is this seriously made from a box of mix u can buy from the grocery store??» the bananas n strawberries still seemed fresh though. so while it looks pretty n photographs well, it’s just not as advertised. my latté was good although not as hot as I liked. they use Linea Coffee beans. so probably will not b going back anytime soon, unless they decide to make a change n cook better food for their customers.

Clean, chill vibe. I recommend the Ecuador Gilda coffee black and Frittata! The price is reasonable for fresh quality and presentation.

I came here for a work brunch this week, and enjoyed my latte so much I returned the next day and the next. Casual, classy atmosphere– good place to come and catch up with friends, but also good if you want to read or do some work, which I did. The food is a but pricey for the portions, but worth it. In different occasions I had the mushroom omelet and the French toast brioche — both were excellent, I will order again. Love this place!

Top Nosh is a great place for breakfast, lunch and brunch. They offer salads, soups, pastries and extremely delicious coffee. Be prepared to wait, as good things take time. Serving are small so don’t go too hungry. Prices are moderate/high. Great outdoor area. The noise level is medium and I’m not sure about wifi. Great Saturday AM spot!

This place is a gem! Im so glad I finally stopped by to try this place. I’ve wondered about it for years. Cozy spot with plenty of seating outside and inside. You order at the counter. The menu is not huge, but food is well made. I had an almond latte and fell in love! It was perfectly crafted. Four Barrel coffee in SF has been on the top of my list for a while and this latte comes really close. I will return just for the latte. I had the french toast and truly enjoyed it. I don’t eat french toast very much, I think of it more of a dessert. This toast wasn’t too sweet. The berry capote was really good too! My bf had the omelette with potatoes. The potatoes are nice and crispy with plenty of herb seasoning.

This was my brothers and I first time here & the girl at the register was very helpful although she said she didn’t drink coffee which was interesting. Lol but I got a mocha latte with a side of banana oatmeal, and my brother got a expresso with a egg omelette. Everything was cooked to perfection & the coffee was delicious! I would definitely return for a nice breakfast!

This place is awesome! They use Hario pour over, and have really great coffee, so I felt lucky to have found it while walking around Willow Glen with my friend. It’s much larger than it looks from the outside, there are plenty of seats, and choices on the menu. They get bonus points for being extra friendly.

This has been on my list for brunch for quite some time. I ordered an omelet, my boyfriend ordered one of their sandwiches. It’s a bit overpriced, in my opinion. The potatoes were dry. Lattes were good, cute latte art. We sat right in front of the register. It was kinda awkward haha. If I come back, I would like to try their pastries.

We did not like this place. The atmosphere felt like a cafeteria, they brought everything at different times, so we just had a series of angry looking people bringing one coffee at a time, one dish at a time. Then you also had to get up to grab stuff. So they would bring your omelet, but you’d have to get up to go get your cutlery… Just weird. Now the food: — latte: not very smooth — coffee: pretty good. –ricotta berry pie — pretty good, though didn’t say anywhere that it would have chocolate in, which we didn’t mind, but it’s weird that they wouldn’t label it as such. — rugelah: not cooked through, raw dough. I thought you got two for the 1.75 but no you get just one, it was too expensive for a raw rugelah. Stay away. –spinach omelet: pretty good, fresh tasting –home fries: delicious.

Came here because apparently Sunday brunch is a popular event in San Jose. While we were planning to eat at The Table(we were in town for a wedding in Saratoga), the 50 minute wait and our growling stomachs prompted the four of us to find a place that had little to no wait, and great Unilocal reviews. Top Nosh offered a nice selection of sweet and savory brunch options. My boyfriend and I tried their chicken, Apple and cheddar Indian pie and their Belgian waffle. The pie crust was more crispy and cracker like than like a flaky pie crust, and the filling — while tasty and flavorful — was slightly dry. I would say I was pleased with it despite these drawbacks, and my boyfriend had nothing bad to say. We chose a beet, orange, walnuts, goat cheese green salad on the side, which was perfectly balanced. The waffle was delightfully crispy and the fruit was freshly cut and sweet. I didn’t even need the maple syrup. Probably the cherry on top of this sundae was the LINEA brand coffee selection. My boyfriend and I go to the Linea in the city often and it was a pleasant surprise to see it offered here. Delicious latte and cappuccino! Nice to just order at the counter and seat yourselves too. TL;DR — Great little no fuss joint with a thoughtful menu and perfect for a quick brunch.

Well they offer the pour over coffee which is great but it’s slow, if you are in a rush. Forget this place. Staff is grump and not friendly at all. Nice café with food offerings but rather go give my money to Starbucks. Pricy offerings — black coffee at 4.50 /cappuccino at 3.75.

So I’m like on Facebook, right? And like, I’m on my newsfeed, right? And you know how, like, it’s all boring and stuff looking at what people are sharing and all, right? So I’m like, maybe I should, like, do something different, like, on Facebook, right? So I, like, go to my inbox, right? And then, like, I check out the«Other» section of my inbox, right? And you know how, like, it’s usually spam and all, right? But like, this time, there wasn’t just all spam, right? To my mild merriment, a particularly relevant message lied within the once uncharted and unexplored territory. Curious, the millions of neurons(86,000,000,000 to be exact) within my nervous system all worked in conjunction in order to emit action potential – commonly and colloquially referred to as «firing neurons” – to ultimately enable the complex system of muscles that make up what is known as «Tremaine» to move my fingers against the millions of molecules and atoms composing the air around as well as the forces of gravity and air resistance to… open the message. Inside the message was an old classmate who took a picture of our 2nd grade yearbook. «I think we used to be friends,» she said. And so we talked, and we ended up making plans for Top Nosh. So, when you meet with someone after over 10 years, it tends to be a cool experience no matter what. Top Nosh in the heart of Downtown Willow Glen has a really cool vibe to it, as does the area itself. Hip, urban, and yet cozy, Top Nosh Café is the quintessential casual brunch location fit for ordering teas, coffee, or just some light snacks. I ultimately ordered the spicy beef pie, which was small and a bit pricy from a quantity perspective but not a quality perspective. While the spiciness was minimal, the flavor of the beef contrasted with the more mellow outer crust made for a delicious savory treat. It turns out that I was able to re-connect with a friend in an overall really awesome experience. While I won’t be falling into severe foodcomaitis anytime soon due to Top Nosh, it is a good place just to hang out and talk in a classy fashion. And, like, you don’t need your neurons to fire to come check it out, right?

So here’s one take. We met here for a short 1.5 hour meeting at 9am. I hadn’t been there before. It’s in a strange little indoor strip mall. The parking is fine in the back but listen to your GPS, it really is right there. It took a while to get help at the counter. When I got my food, the strata and a latte, the strata was piping hot and delicious. The latte was not. I should have sent it back but I didn’t. They have savory pies which I think is the gig. The food was really good, what I had. But that my latte was luck warm and the service slow only earns this place 3 stars.

This is a vegetarian-friendly place in the beautiful downtown Willow Glen! Came here for a small brunch with my old college friends and was pleasantly surprised by the small-café and handmade and crafted vibes. I had one of their famous pies(empanada size – good if you’re not that hungry in the mornings), which was a vegetarian Ratatouille. It had a curry taste to it and I absolutely ENJOYED it! I can’t wait to try their other veggie pies. I also had a chai tea which was very delicious, almost milky and less like tea… it totally hit the spot. I also had a bite of their highly recommended french toast strips(my friend got it) and ITWASSODELICIOUS and melted in my mouth! Like I mentioned before, the portions are not as large as many California brunch/breakfast/café spots these days, but it’s clear that they put effort into their craft – coffees and small plates. My other friend got a waffle, but it didn’t look as appetizing, so I wouldn’t get that again. YES to french toast and pies. YES to their coffees and teas. And a big YES to coming back to this quaint and clean-vibes café next time I want to sit and catch up with some friends. Also, the service was with a smile the entire time… and the lines move quickly, if there is a line at all. There are SO many food options along downtown Willow Glen, so I wouldn’t ever expect waiting over 10 minutes in line at MOST. I think we only waited about 3 minutes, trying to choose our breakfast items. All of the workers seemed very chill and harmonious. Check yes, y’all!

Cute place(outdoor and indoor seating) Cool choices of breakfasts foods(had to google most of them): I got the Frittata&Brioche(which were delicious but the portions were so small)! The service from the waiter was alright. The cashier girl was super nice! I heard they’re famous for their pies-the flavors sounded pretty interesting&appetizing!
