I always have a good experience with tamale factory but today I was disappointed I went to buy some tamales at 9:10 p.m. because their website said they closed at 10:00 p.m. I tried opening the door and she just moved her finger saying they were closed and it wasn’t even 10:00 p.m. yet, also she was just standing there on her phone. Not very happy with this experience.

The Tamale Factory looked barebones. saw «menudo», «tamales» signs on the windows.
eats: pork/​chicken tamale @2.40
–much larger than fruitvale’s version
–tasty, no salsa given, not needed.
–masa not as silky smooth as fruitvale’s (no lard used?)
crumbs:
–saw offerings on upper/​front wall
–quick, courteous, fab service.
–ample parking.
