The Chef Works

Ahhhh, arrive home at 9 p.m. on Monday night. Go to the refrigerator, 2 minutes later I am sitting down to the most delicious home cooked meal ever. Chef Deb… you are just the best. I would agree, never thought I would have a chef. But after driving home with a pizza and salad from whole foods, something had to change. I had met Chef Joe but didn’t act fast enough. But as I told Chef Deb, she really was our Christmas miracle. 8 weeks of delicious meals, that often are my lunch as well. Ok, and the Chicken Cacciatore, I used the sauce at breakfast on eggs. I have run out of adjectives to describe her food. Most of all it has a serving of love in it, I am convinced. She truly cares for us as a family! 24 samplings of entrees, not one has disappointed, some we had to do twice. But still have much more to sample. There are lots of selections and many menu types. We especially love her «Clean Eating» recipes. We also are grateful for her suggestions as well. Tonight pork loin with a cranberry glaze, wonderful spaghetti squash or roasted winter vegetables. It is so worth any financial sacrifice at the end of the day.

I never thought I’d be someone who hired a chef — I love to cook and I thought it would be too expensive. Thankfully, after one particularly hectic week, I looked into it. After trying Chef Deb for just one month, I was hooked, and now I can’t live without her.
For very reasonable rates, she shops for the food, cooks the food in your kitchen, puts it in your refrigerator, then cleans up your kitchen. I come home to a choice of 3 entrees and 3 sides that easily last my family for the next 4 nights, plus a few lunches.
I can’t tell you how much this has off-​loaded me after work. Plus, the food is really delish. She has quite a database of recipes, but is also willing to cook my recipes as well. I have some picky kids, but they love her cooking — lasagna, chicken tenders, steak taco night, curries, veggie shepherd’s pie, Italian chopped salad, etc.
Now, I happily cook on the weekends and only shop once a week. She has made weeknights saner at our house.

I have been using the weekly delivery services from the Chef Works for about 3 months now. I have been extremely happy with the service. Not only is the food delicious, but the service in impeccable. Once a week, I choose from over 250 items. The meals are delivered to my home and keep me and my family stocked up for the entire week. My kids love the Panko Crusted Chicken Fingers and Deb’s cookies. Very hard for me to choose a favorite. I love the Stuffed Pork Loin and the Lasagne. Enchiladas, flank steak, spaghetti and meatballs. You name it, they make it. The sides are also amazing and they have tons of healthy options. I highly recommend the personal chef services of The Chef Works for busy families that need a title extra help with the cooking.
