Tacos El Pelon

The tortillas definitely taste handmade. Best tacos around! My number one spot to get tacos. Love how there in the neighborhood! We need you back in the nighborhood as of 2÷9÷16 where are u? Let’s make sure we distinguish EL PELON tacos from any other truck that posts up at this spot! They are NUMBER ONE ! Come and try there tacos you will see what I’m talking about!

Really mediocre tacos. And you had to fill in your own condiments. The meat taste bland, and small in portions. Not really worth it at all.

Fabulous tacos! They were at a swim meet I attended. Loved the quality, and the self/​service selection of add-​ons. I will hire them for my next event!

The Carne Asada tacos are pretty good. The Lengua tacos need a little more flavor. The red salsa is super hot! It made me sweat and want to eat even more. I’m not sure if the tortillas were handmade or from a package… they didn’t hold up the fillings well. I like that it is around the corner of my house. Pretty affordable for $ 1.50 per taco. I’ll be sure to try the carnitas sometime.

Tacos El Pelon is another hidden gem in the San Jose Taco/​Food Truck world! Came here with a group of friends on a Friday night and left this place very satisfied and full. Even left with some tacos to go for later! They will pack it up to go if you ask, but make sure to grab some of the fresh salsa, cebolla, cilantro and fresh chopped red radishes to compliment those juicy tacos!
Tacos All Day here!!! The chef Antonio greeted us with a smile and asked how we were all doing. Next he and his wife took our orders. Their son and daughter also help with this taco truck as well. It was nice to see the family getting busy and loving what they do all working together to make it happen. They were workin very hard on the grill and prepping the tacos.
THE TACOS: They offer Asada, Pollo, chorizo, El Pastor and Lengua. All of the meat is cooked fresh daily. They have spices and homemade marinade recipes straight from Mexico. So you already know the tacos are going to be good. You can smell the grill from White Rd as you drive up!
THE QUESADILLA: Fresh cheddar or monterey jack oozes out of the fresh tortillas as you take that forst bite, POW cheesy goodness explodes out of that quesadilla like it was running from the law! I reccomend!
THE SALSA BAR: Home made salsas and chile! Red and Green! BOMB​.COM is all I gotta say! Add your self some Cilantro Onions some limes and your set. They also offer fresh slices of red radishes to top off. If you really want to bulk up your taco, throw some freshly made pinto beans onto your tacos at no charge.
This place is fairly new. But dont hesistate to ask Antonio any questions or request anything special for your tacos. They will happily grant your requests with a humongous smile and some bomb tacos!

Friendly staff but would not recommend this place if you are looking for some good tacos. Around the corner from my house so decided to give it a shot. not worth it
They need better quality of meat.
