Tacos De Los Altos

Watch out if you’re paying cash at this truck. They have great tacos, but they like to steal your money. I bought really expensive tacos to today. Should have been $ 6. I hand a 20 dollar bill and she give back 4 dollar bills.

Another tale of «we only opened an hour ago, but that thing you want to try, well, we don’t have it.» Food trucks should maybe consider not having a standing menu, and just post a chalkboard so they can go out and erase things once they are 86ed. Just a thought.
But I digress.
This taco truck has the best carnitas tacos I’ve had in California. Crispy, soft, porky, goodness.
Al pastor was okay (no one has been able to touch Penca Azul’s truck on this for my money).
The quesadilla with all the fixins — sour cream, guac, salsa — be prepared — that all comes INSIDE the quesadilla. I think I prefer it on the side or on top, but hey, now I know. The portion was quite large, which is good because they’ll run you $ 9. Tacos are only $ 2.50.
If I saw this truck out and about again, I would absolutely beeline over for carnitas tacos.

The review would be 5 stars because the food is delicious, however because I WATCHED THE CASHIER SIGN MY NAME FOR THE CREDIT TRANSACTION RATHER THAN HAND ME THE TOUCH PAD, I am giving it 1 star. This action is illegal and I will be filing a report. I requested a receipt and all she could tell me is ‘you’re done’.

Tacos De Los Altos is atypical for a taco truck. their prices are not cheap. $ 10 for a burrito? yep. food came out in minutes so some of the food is premade not made to order.

Holy guacamole this food is scrumptious!
I ordered the California burrito with BBQ pork ($ 10.00 total). I swear it was 2lbs at least! It was so delicious and they also have some great additions, like lime and peppers. The burrito itself seemed expensive at $ 10.00 but it would totally worth it!!! It smelled sooooo good and the meat was cooked to perfection, not to mention every bite had meat in it (even down to the last one) and the burrito stayed together!!! Tre impressive. I put the green salsa on it too and it gave it the moisture and flavor I love! I’m so impressed with this taco truck, our company has had different ones every day this week and this is the best so far.
The California burrito is great, the taco salad looked phenomenal, the tacos looked like they were full of flavor but they also seemed pretty tiny. Next time I’m going to try a quesadilla or a taco salad, I’m sure everything is divine since I haven’t heard one complaint! They also have horchata!

Food was excellent but price was a little high for a Super Burrito.

I love their enchiladas!!! Probably tied with the best ever! The service is great, people are nice and food is awesome! I could eat here daily!

I ordered chicken tacos from them, they were delicious, perfect spice to it. I’m not sure about the number listed but they have this number listed on their truck 650−207−6932. They come to Stoneridge mall in Pleasanton on Fridays at 11−2pm
