I stayed at the hotel and had no car, and there is no other place to walk to, so I gave it a shot even though the reviews were not that great. I went for dinner and got the chicken club. I liked the bread and lettuce, tomato, bacon, onions, but the chicken itself was not the greatest. I got an apple pie slice also and it was pretty pricey for a small, average tasting piece. Service was great. Basically if I didn’t have a car, I would go back, but if I did, I’d find someplace else to go.

Lastnight my family went here for dinner. We had prime rib, filet mignon and angus burger, every dish was cooked perfectly. Side salad was freshly made, rolls were fresh and delicious. Our server, Nicole was very nice and pleasant. We will be back.

Last night friend and I wanted to go out for the evening have a nice drink listen to good music and get plenty of good dancing in, we decided to try the bar /lounge out. Huge disappointment, BAR tender was horrible, we walked in there were two couples sitting at bar counter, bar tender looked up @ us and kept working no acknowledgement. We sat at one of the many empty chairs, waited, no waitress, Walked over to bar ordered 1 red wine, 1 long Island I ice, the wine pour was short served the standard 5 oz. pour, long island was much to sweet, by the way price for long island was ridiculously high $ 10. For short glass, filled with ice. I took drink back to bar tender, let him know, drink had strong flavor of syrup, he got very upset, telling me he has never had anyone complain of his drinks, which I responded, I have never had a long island with a syruppy taste, this would be a 1st time experience for the both of us. 2nd drink he made was just as bad. Energy in place was not good, service even worst. Needless to say we left, found a much better lounge, great energy and fantastic music/dancing.

I have no idea why this place has such a low rating. The service is friendly and fast; Food was reasonably priced and perfectly cooked; and the atmosphere is fancy yet cozy. What I liked most about this place is the moral of the workers, you can really tell they like their jobs. Carlos and Oscar were amazing. Defiantly coming back.

My inlaws were in town for the weekend. We decided to go to Summit for steaks. Granted it was the Saturday night before Christmas, but really. We ordered 2 $ 45 bottles of wine to go with dinner. There were 8 of us at the table. I have never been so embarrassed as I was when the(lovely, she was super nice and I think embarrassed) waitress brought us plastic cups. I’m not kidding. We had this gorgeous dinner with family, who we see once a year, with plastic glasses!!! Oh! And on Fridays and Saturdays, Summit serves Prime Rib. It was 5:45. They were OUT of Prime Rib! How is that possible? I had a filet mignon which was good, but the folks who ordered chicken all said theirs was overdone and dry. While this used to be a «go to» place, I would say avoid it from now on. We also froze to death all during dinner as there was a very strong draft, even though we were seated near the fireplace. Very disappointing dinner. Gosh, I hate writing bad reviews. :(

This was one of the worst restraunts I have ever eaten at. The food was cold and they used instant potatoes! The service was terrible the server brought us the wrong main entrees! We asked if he could change the channel 3 times, never did! They have a LOT of nerve even charging for this straight up dog food.

We had a group of 12 or so people ataying at the hotel which is GREAT so we made the mistake of dining at this restaurant for dinner. We got okay service up until we ordered our food. The food came out in spurts and several main dishes were cold by the time everyone got served. The server seemed to have an attitude and didn’t come back for ages. We waited at least 45 minutes before finally getting our check and it took 3 separate times for us to chaise the staff down and request our checks before that finally happened. Some at our table said the food was okay(steak fajitas was noted to be okay) but don’t get the salmon. It tastes like overcooked cardboard and the rice was instant rice. Our lead organizer complained to the front desk at the hotel about the dinner experience, and they responded by apologizing and giving us 3 free breakfast coupons so we used those the next day and frankly that experience was wonderful. Fantastic veggie omelet and a super attentive waitress. Two of the evenings during our stay we gathered at the bar, and the staff had major attitude. Seemed they didn’t like easy going business folk at all. They interrupted our conversations whenever they wanted to and if we didn’t respond within seconds they walked away and ignored us. And for some reason the bar closes at 9:30 pm, totally frustrating as many hotel guests are just returning for a nightcap after dining somewhere else.

Instead of going through a laundry list of issues I had with this restaurant, I will simply write down what was promised versus what I received: I ordered the Tahitian Crab Cakes for $ 14 What I was promised: Dungeness crab cakes with fresh herbs, scallions, a tri-pepper filling, and Thai sauce. What I received: 2 deep fried flour patties(cut into halves) with a few pieces of Krab sprinkled in there(flipping K-RAB, I couldn’t believe it!!!); served with a side a bottled tartar sauce. Tasted like something I would have received from a bowling alley in a landlocked state! Margarita — $ 10 What I was promised — a margarita — Shouldn’t be that hard! What I received — a glass of ice, filled with triple sec and a splash of tequila; garnished with a lime wedge. This place is a joke; and I’m pretty sure if they weren’t next to a hotel that was completely isolated from the rest of San Jose, they would have been forced to close their doors long ago. If you’re staying at the 4-point Sheraton San Jose and find yourself with the choice between this restaurant and a vending machine, go with the vending machine! This place is not worth the time or money(and it is expensive)!!!

:. San Jose, California .: My breakfast here was very memorable, mainly because of the food. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. The service wasn’t the fastest, but my food was delicious. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu, but I highly recommend the steak and egg combo. If only my girlfriend cooked potatoes like those, but she doesn’t. So anyway, my stomach was perfectly happy after my meal, and for 50% off your entire check, why go anywhere else? Conveniently located across the hotel. Save cash and gas and just eat there!

We had 16 people and they couldn’t deliver our food anywhere near the same time. Some were finished as others(like myself) were just getting ours. I ordered a 2nd beer while we waited and that failed to arrive until I had asked FOUR times. The chef«forgot» 3 of our orders. Once my Fajitas were ready I was told by the waitress«someone took the tortillas». 5 mins later my food arrived. It took another 10 minutes for my final 2 coworkers food. Shame as the food was pretty good once we got it. Sorry, can’t recommend it.

Food was great, service was great… surprisingly. Didn’t expect much because place was absolutely EMPTY. Only lame thing was you can’t get the happy hour drink specials in the restaurant. Really??? I had to leave my family to go to the bar to get two glasses of wine. Everything else was GREAT!

BESTTURKEYCLUBEVER!!! You have to try it. Beer is nice and cold, the server I had kept them coming; didn’t have to wait or try to get his attention because he was on top of it. The sandwich was so fresh and delicious I’m probably going to come back tomorrow. Chris/Enrique and Eduardo gave the best service ever.

Breakfast is delicious if you like ends and fried potato but do NOT get the pancakes for they require some fines in taste. If you like a four year old Making you pancakes then by all means eat those pancakes. But they need to really get better at making pancakes.

I’m staying at the hotel for business, so I just walked over to the restaurant to grab something to take back to my room. It took them about 5 – 10 minutes before anyone showed up to help me at the«please wait to be seated» sign. The menu wasn’t that appetizing to me so I just got a chicken Cesar salad. $ 14.08. Took it back to the room and it’s not the worst but definitely not $ 14 good. It’s drenched in dressing and there’s hardly any chicken. Disappointing.

Ate here twice and both times were great experiences. First time was at the bar and Asher was super nice. I had a glass of Coppola cab with my nachos and my hubby had a blue moon. The nachos were pretty standard– nacho cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, guac, and the grilled chicken was pretty juicy. No tomatoes or salsa though?! That deserves a minus star. The bar was actually cool and had plenty of tv’s and lounge area seating available. I like the cute dance floor and lighting. Second time was at the restaurant for breakfast. We split a Cali omelette which was packed full of avocado! They didn’t skimp on any ingredients(I hate when they don’t add enough sausage or avocado) which adds a star back onto the rating. Our server was very cool, very attentive and the food came out quick.

Just say no. The only reason I ate here is that it is across from the hotel I was at and there was nothing close this late. 3 people(total) one table was done eating and the other guy was served when I sat down. It took over 45 minutes for a crummy spinach salad with a dry hunk of chicken on it… really?

It amazes me that this place closes at 10. I arrived right before 9:30 and the bartender told me that I would have to order the food to go and a limited menu at that. I would have ordered a ton but this place didn’t seem to want my business. Cool comfortable chairs at least and nothing really within walking distance of the hotel so I was kind of stuck.

Okay… giving them one star is just being too nice… this place seriously deserves a NEGATIVEMILLIONSTARS!!! Customer service here was horrible! The newly promoted manager seriously needs to be DEMOTED due to her lack of customer service skills. I work in customer service for many years and I have never ever in my life seen a manager speak to clients in such a demeaning and degrading way. If you can’t deal with certain customer service issues why are you a manager anyways!!! Fellow Unilocalers, you have all been warned! Food-wish the food is decent, it’s alright.

Four mornings. Free breakfast. Continental style. Or stay on the $ 7 bracket and get whatever you want. For my stay. May not be for everybody. So don’t blame me if you don’t get free food. Do your research. The place looks awesome. Clean. Seasoned wait staff. Polite, fast and there’s never a wait. One thing I noticed their fresh fruits are well picked. No bruising on the grapes. Crunchy melons, taste fresh and looks fresh. Four days in a row. Consistency. I just love it! That and the staff retains the excellent qualities mentioned above. Consistent consistency. You will find it here! I’ve only had bfast here and seeing this is a steak place I’m thinking of bidding adieu on my last day today with a good ‘ol steak! P.S they have a kicking HH I heard that I must try one day.
