Food is food. Sadly I need to rate this place one star because the service is always slow, the workers are usually rude, and more often than not, I receive a tattered sandwich slathered in condiments and carelessly wrapped and thrown in a bag. As I write this I hear loud music coming from their back room from some cell phone. I like subway, although I come to this location reluctantly purely because the location is convenient for me. I wish they would step up their game. I almost feel cheated spending my money here.

This is a review on the new location inside Valley Fair…(Downstairs near the Hello kitty store now) This Subway used to be one of my favorites. They were quick during the long lunch hour lines… always nice. It seemed to get better when this young guy took over I think he might have been the new manager or something because if he was there everything went smoothly. So they moved now and I decided I wanted to go and visit them again, being that I LOVED that subway. I walked in NOONEINLINE. great right! NOTREALLY. the lady who came from out the back was so moody. Not even a HELLO !? anyhow I ordered my sandwich I WASNOTAWAREOFTHEJANUARY $ 5ANYSANDWICHFOOTLONG going on ?! so I ordered a six inch FINE. but for 20 cents more I could of gotten a foot long. I am not mad but come on when they were at the food court they used to remind me and tell me «Hey just make it a foot long for $ 5!» I thought that used to be great customer service. anyhow no wonder this place is EMPTY now. WONTBEBACK

This review is based upon this one experience. My teenage sister and my step daughter went to get some sandwiches. My baby loves tuna and avocado,(yes I know weird). That’s what she wanted well the told her that they couldn’t make that. Not because they ran out of product but just because, well I don’t know why so she got something else. They started to eat and my sister had a hair in her food, they did make her a new one. So after that I was bothered that my daughter couldn’t customize her sandwich which you can do there the last time that I checked. My sister didn’t get a receipt so I went to the register to see if they could reprint an old one and they told me no. They told me that they tried to give it to my sis but she didn’t want it. So then I asked if they had business cards and strangely they didn’t have any of those either. So here is the Unilocal and I will email the company as well.

It’s Subway. The sandwiches aren’t great, but they’re good and they’re cheap, so why not. I think I had the BMT… or was it the Spicy Italian? I forgot, but it filled me up. I was paying at the register and a rather attractive young female comes up next to me and asks the cashier if she can have some more napkins. Now the guy is straight up staring her up and down, and as soon as she walks away he leans over to me and says to me in his thick foreign accent, «She good, eh?», with a big fat grin. I chuckled, and gave him a tip for that. Anyway, despite its small size and kiosk status, they are very quick and friendly and will get you in and out of there in a hurry, which is what a food court joint SHOULD be — some of the places in this food court take FOREVER to get your food out!

If you love $ 5 foot longs, you’ll love the $ 4 foot longs after 3 o’clock and the no tax policy. The menu for both are limited, but I’m okay with that: My favorite, the Spicy Italian, is on the $ 5 menu. ^_^ The $ 4 menu is similar but offers two different sandwiches: The Genoa Salami and the Subway Seafood Special, which is not as scary as it sounds. One of the guys who works there is really good about giving you your money’s worth in sandwich, too. Hurray for Subway’s $ 4 recession menu! I hope I survive it, though. My boyfriend wants to eat there for every meal, now… –’ I’ll get back to you if the Jerry diet actually works.

Everytime i’m on break and im walking in the food court at valleyfair i always see a line or at least 4 people at subway. $ 5 footlongs are well worth it, and they satisfy your hunger without making you overly stuffed as i could probably eat 2. i usually get the meatball marinara or tuna but they have a good selection of other choices. but if your super picky just diy. service is good and they are quick about making your sub. they always ask you if you want anything else like toasting, chips or drinks.
