Checked this place out during the 2014 Willow Glen Wine walk. Like all the stores in Downtown WiIlow Glen, this is adorable.

Patty is energetic, happy, proud of her work and talented. I came for a haircut and color, and I loved the fact that I could bring my own color and that she straightened my hair with the blow dry as part of the cut. The hair line she uses is cruelty free and I loved the quality and smell so much that I bought the line for myself afterwards. It’s also cruelty-​free, something that’s very important for me, but for you, it might just say how much she cares about you and the environment. ;)

Patty has been my hairdresser for years! The new business model of Sola Salon Studios is so cool. The building in Willow Glen has been renovated specifically for this business. Now Patty has her «own» mini salon. The service is so personalized and the space is comfortable and decorated so cute. I really enjoy going there and, not only having my hair cut, but visiting with Patty who always takes an interest in what’s going on with me.
Patty listens to how I want my hair cut and she never cuts more than I’ve asked her to. I hate it when a hairdresser cuts two inches when I said I only wanted an inch cut! If I ask her for an opinion on what the best highlight color would be for me, she’s honest and makes good recommendations. She has never tried to sell me on any product she uses or has for sale in the salon. Also her pricing is reasonable and less than or similar to other local salons.
Flying Solo may be the name of the business, but you can count on Patty to give good advice and do a great job for her customers!

Because my hair is thin & unmanageable, I never enjoyed going to the hairdresser before; that is, until I met Patty! Despite my hair’s natural tendencies, Patty always manages to make me look and feel my best. She has great skills in cutting, coloring and styling. Did I mention the fact that she is a fun & positive person whose upbeat personality is a joy to be around? Also, her salon at Sola is gorgeous and has plenty of convenient parking.
So now I completely look forward to my hair appointments and highly recommend Patty as an excellent stylist.

I always feel so good after my appointment with Patty. Not only does my hair look great but Patty makes my day so happy with her positive spirit. She uses great products that leave my hair feeling very soft and shiny and gives good practical advise on how to style my hair at home. It’s true what another Unilocal review stated about Patty not pushing her clients to buy products because they are on the salon shelf. My coworkers always compliment my hair and they think I get my hair cut often but I don’t, Patty just gives a good cut that looks great for weeks and weeks.

Patty has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 5 years now. She is a skilled haircutter and colorist who listens to your concerns and makes qualified suggestions. Patty keeps her education current, and she will never try to upsell you products or services, which I appreciate enormously. She is extremely friendly and her joie-​de-​vivre is infectious. I trust Patty’s judgment implicitly and entrust her with my hairdressing needs.
