Sobrato Center For Nonprofits

This rating is for the Sobrato location in Redwood City since they do not have a Unilocal review page of their own. This facility is super nice! It’s everything (+ more) that we were looking for to hold our trainings. The facility is clean, chic and a beautiful building. I would definitely recommend this facility to other non-​profits. It might take a few days to get a response as there is only 1 staff member on site at the Redwood City location. Other than that, everything is great! There is also a little café at the RWC location to grab a light lunch, coffee, tea etc.

The Sobrato Center has done much good work over the years to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and donations. They are an example of what so much of Silicon Valley should be doing, but isn’t. My hat’s off to them.

Nice facility! Very clean and open design. Plenty of parking with parking lots in the front and back of the facility. I believe the VTA stops there (or at least is nearby) as well.

The Sobrato Center for Nonpofits is home to a number of great nonprofit community agencies that provide a number of services to the local community.
A community of education, housing, health and human service providers that benefit from program collaboration opportunities and sharing of resources
Is conveniently located off of Hwy. 280, adjacent to light rail, and close to downtown San Jose, providing quick access to the Peninsula and the East Bay corridors via public transportation sites
Sobrato has done the community a great service by providing an affordable location for these nonprofit agencies which allows them to focus on helping the communities they serve. The building provides a meeting place for local organizations and is state of the art.
The United Way offers some great programs including Credit Coaching. The Health Trust has several programs that benefit the community including Healthy Living, Healthy Aging and AIDS Services.
