Green tea Milky Way all the way! First time trying it and I thought it was delicious. This dish had a beautiful presentation with the many thin ribbon like layers of green tea and white snow which I’m guessing is flavored with condensed milk. You could really taste the green tea flavor which I loved. The snow was super soft and fluffy. It came with mochi, popping jelly, red bean and rainbow jelly. My favorite was the mochi. Perfect amount of condensed milk drizzled over it. Portions are very large, one could easily feed 2 – 3 people. Prices are very reasonable and service is good too. I would definitely visit this place again for dessert!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00. The place was empty unlike the other restaurant at Dublin. We walked up to the counter to order. The guy asked us if we are doing take out or eating in and we told him we wanted to eat in. He told us to have a seat and he brought the menu to us. There was a lot more items on this menu than the restaurant in Dublin. I decided to get the pineapple shave ice and my hubby got a banana crêpe. When it came the shave ice was huge. Both was delicious and very filling.

Love the Rose Milk Tea & Signature Toast! Lots of Crêpe choices, both sweet and savory! Just so much on the menu!

Meh. The shaved snow here looks gorgeous, but it doesn’t taste as good as it looks. I forgot the exact name of what I ordered, but it was chocolate shaved snow with strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and a chocolate syrup topping. The serving size is huge and my friend and I made the mistake of ordering two. One would have definitely been enough for the both of us. I really liked the ribbon texture, but taste-wise, I found the snow to be rather bland. Most of the flavor came from the chocolate syrup, I thought. It was quite disappointing :(The fruit was fresh, though. Wasn’t a huge fan of the marshmallow toppings, but that’s just personal preference. Prices are reasonable for the serving size, but I really didn’t find it to be anything special.

Can we just say GINORMOUS? They don’t hold back at Snowflake. Highly impressed with not only the customer service but the quality of the shaved ice as well! Huge, huge portions and very attentive employees! We tried the mango and strawberry with popping boba. Very very good! Will definitely come back to try the food. Excited to try the crepes. Parking is pretty easy considering they share the lot with Mitsuwa. Bee’s Quote: «When the product is good, let it snow… let it snow!»

I had a sweet tooth craving so I decided to try to place out. There were a lot of interesting snow flavors, but I went with the Green Tea Milky Way($ 7.95). It came out pretty quickly and the bowl was ice cold. Unlike other shaved snow, this one had 2 different colors — green and white(assuming it’s regular milk snow). There was a slight drizzle of condensed milk over the heaping 6−7″ mountain of snow which was surrounded by popping boba, red bean, jellies, and mini mochi. A lot of people said it needs more condensed milk, but I honestly thought it was sweet enough the way it was. Taking a spoonful of the green snow, you can really taste the green tea which I preferred over drowning it in sweetness from condensed milk. The snow wasn’t as fine as it could’ve been, but it wasn’t bad. Since it wasn’t overly sweet, I didn’t feel weighed down or(too) sugar-rushed afterwards. The popping boba were an interesting addition and tasted like lychee to me. We managed to finish most of it, but you can easily share one shaved snow among 3 or 4 people!

This place was decent, but nothing too special. Service — was good. We went late after dinner so not many people and wasn’t as busy, which was good. We got seated and handed menus right away. She was able to answer questions. Food– we got a green tea snow ice to share. This was typical and nothing different than other place I have tried. Beverages — on the sweet side. I should’ve asked if I could get my peach hot tea less sweet, but I wasn’t sure if they do that. There are other places that have the option for sweeter or less sweet drinks. Parking — shares the parking lot with Mitsuwa and other shops so it gets super packed. We went after 8, so there was no issue finding parking. I would suggest coming late so there won’t be a crowd either.

Went to this place a total of about 5 times now… Each time ordering something different and trying to order something again and again(the cheese steak crêpe) but they didn’t have it until recently bc they ran out of the ingredients for it. Ambiance: pretty laid back. Not too crowded each time my friend and I went which is pretty good because we wanted to hear each other talk and not scream at each other at the top of our lungs to try and hear each other. Service: it’s Okie. Wasn’t outstanding or lacking. The waitress/waiters gave us our space when we’re eating and talking, and cleared the plates for us when we’re done with a dish. Good that once in a while they offer free sample to test out their newest drink. Probably the only minor complaint would be that the workers aren’t that well knowledgeable about what they have. Usually places would notify you right away if they have the dish or not and will be able to describe what the dishes are like. Most of my visits the waitress/waiter would run back to the kitchen and come right back because they can’t answer me on the spot. Should train the workers to know their food and drinks as well as be informed of availability of you want a smooth service. Food/drinks: drinks were pretty good. My recent drink was a nice HUGE bowl cup(Yes that’s right, I said BOWL cup because the size of the«cup» doesn’t match the meaning of a cup lol. It’s as big as my face!) of matcha green tea latte. Was good when it’s hot but once it cools down a lot, the sweetness kicks in and it was a bit hard to drink because it ended up being super sweet. If you’re not into too sweet drinks, best to tell them ahead of time before they make it otherwise it’ll be a default sweetness level based on their making. Food is Okie. I had most of the crepes and each time I kept coming back in order to try the cheese steak one but they couldn’t make it due to lack of ingredients. NOW that I came back after my 3rd attempt on ordering it, it came out. I’d say despite the hype, this savory crêpe is the cheese steak one because it’s overpowered with the sweet bbq steak sauce(uh… Real cheese steaks don’t use steak sauce) and the inside itself isn’t seasoned well. It’s pretty bland when omitting the sauce which is disappointing. The tuna one and the ham and cheese one was good but just not this one. Overall: I’d come here for drinks and snack on some of their food. They have updated their food section a lot so keep coming back periodically to check.

I love their food, it is very fresh (the ice). And the waiter is very nice. And they have a lot of fresh tea. And you can choose how sweetness you want. I feel that very nice for me. I think I will comes a again.

I can’t seem to get enough of these crazy Asian dessert places! What caught my attention about this particular spot was their creation that combined honey toast and crepes. Um, yes please! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately. The girl who waited on us was so sweet and helpful — such good customer service! We ordered the Tropical Garden with green tea and cookies n’ cream ice cream. This was a garden filled with fruits and it was as yummy as it was aesthetically pleasing. I love Love LOVE fruits, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the fresh fruits in this dessert. The ratio of toast/crêpe to fruit was perfect for me! Usually, there’s a lot more toast than anything else and I’m left with soggy toast by the end, which is no bueno. Apparently, they also can DEEPFRY the honey toast! I asked for it fried, but unfortunately, their fryer was broken and the replacement hadn’t arrived. BOO! Despite this, their toasted version of the honey toast had the right amount of crispness to it; so I can’t complain. However, the crêpe was a bit off. It had a nice crisp to it, but it tasted like a fried wonton — definitely not a good combination with fruit. Other than that, I absolutely loved this dessert. Snowflake also has unique shaved snow flavors, such as guava and black sesame, along with assorted drinks and small snacks. I would very much come here again to try other things. Hopefully their fryer will arrive soon because deep fried honey toast sounds deliciously sinful; therefore I NEED to try it. Stay tuned for that update.(;

This is not part of the sno crave snowflake chain but it’s pretty similar. I came here for some snow and pretty much you can’t really customize without additional charges. There are set snows and it’s annoying cuz sometimes you don’t want all this mumbo jumbo. I got the taro but it came with all these bells and whistles and all I wanted was strawberry and mangos. I switched the randoms with those fruits and got charged more. It was basic snow and it cost almost 10. Humph

I was expecting this place to be like the other Snowflake locations, but it was far from it. Not sure if it’s run under the same people, but it seemed like they were trying to be similar. I got a mini honey toast, and it was good. I also got a matcha green tea smoothie with egg pudding. Their pudding tasted funny. My friends got crepes, and they were too thin and crispy. Place is really small and service was just okay.

Came here for the first time today and it was pretty good! I got a milk tea snowflake/shaved ice and it was great. The portion was very large as well. I’ll stop by again whenever I’m in the area.

Randomly stopped by here with my 8 year old. Thought it was like a snow-cone store, walk in, walk out, stay if you wanted type of place. Instead we got to sit down and brought a menu. The menu was a little intimidating as we were expecting snow-cones and didn’t recognize anything on the menu and I contemplated walking out, but instead just reviewed the menu and ordered what sounded good. We ended up getting a shaved chocolate ice cream, with banana, strawberries, marshmallows, and drizzle. OMG… my sons eyes when it came out. We absolutely loved our dish. It was gorgeous and couldn’t wait to dig in. I posted a pic. Definitely glad we stopped in. We’ll be back.

We decided to peep out this new place since we were already at Mitsuwa market. What we swallowed: TAROCOCONUTSNOWFLAKE: This was good but needed something creamy to cut it. The mochi balls were yummy and the red beans were good. but it just felt like it was missing something creamy. MACARONPARADISETOAST: This was just way to pretty to eat. but of course we did anyway! There was too much whipped cream. The cone sat on a hollowed out honey toast, which we couldn’t tell if there was honey toast in the bottom of the cone so we started picking away at the honey toast base only to realize our cone would topple over. It wasn’t until we were half way down the cone did we realize the honey toast was at the bottom of the cone. By then our ice-cream-to-honey-toast ratio was off. There was tons of marshmallows on this creation, so if marshmallows aren’t your thing, be forewarned. The macarons were very tasty. The honey toast could have used a bit more sweetness to them, even drizzled with ice cream, they just seemed like toasted bit of bread. I prefer the honey toast over at Honey Berry better, even if that one is a bit smaller, the taste is just more pleasing. I’m glad we tried this place out but I don’t think we’ll be back.

A new shaved ice place has opened near my house in the Mitsuwa plaza! Hooray! More excuses to eat dessert after dinner =) This place is bright and looks so happy. Not many places would play Taiwanese music but this place was playing music from back in the days. It felt like my college days when I would listen to these songs and this brought back tons of good memories. Oh the feels! The service is great! The owner and another girl were standing right by the door and greeted us promptly and were very very attentive! My friend and I shared the half green tea half milk shaved ice with red beans, coconut jelly, lychee popping boba and condensed milk. It was absolutely heavenly! It was the perfect amount for two people who were full from dinner and it was a perfectly sweet way to end the night =) I also want to come back and try the brick toast!

Super good! Dropped by here after dinner. You can sit down and the staff will take your order. The shaved ice dishes are incredibly tasty and filling. A bit more expensive than standard ice cream or frozen yogurt places, but this place is a unique and delicious frozen treat. I really enjoyed the January White Chocolate($ 6.95) I got. It was strawberry jam, raspberry and strawberries. My boyfriend’s Belgium cocoa($ 6.95) was very chocolatey and rich. I would love to return here if I’m in the area again. I highly recommend it to others looking for a place to satisfy their desire for frozen sweets.

Snowflake just doesn’t cut it for me. Maybe I should have tried other food options, but I thought they would be great with their snow ice… unfortunately, it was a let down. Long-time SoBay inhabitants know that this place used to be Tutti Frutti froyo, but let’s hope Snowflake improves their quality before another restaurant takes its place! Came here on a weekday afternoon and we were pretty surprised that it was completely empty in the shop. We debated between coming here or getting our local favorite boba a few steps away – TLeaf. We should’ve gone with TLeaf, looking back… We had their taro snow ice and were pretty disgusted with the flavors and quality of their sides: grape-tasting mochi(purple), canned red beans(looked goopy), and what they call«composite jelly.» We were totally thrown off by that weird name, so we asked the kind lady working there what it was… she said it was rainbow jelly. Don’t get me wrong… service was 100% awesome! They were quick, smiley, and professional even with the super hot weather and flies milling around in their store. Props to the girls and bored-looking dude working there during slow business hours – I feel you. BUT the snow could be SO much better! I’ve had a range of snow from the delicious«OG» snow ice from Blockheads in L.A. to some hotpot snow ices in Milpitas and Irvine… so Snowflake is on the«beginner» side of the quality range for me. I wouldn’t come back here again because the snow ice was too watered down for me, and the sides were just… well, we couldn’t even finish our plate. AND we are total food vacuum machines, so that’s saying A LOT. To my South Bay snow ice lovers, I’d say go to Snow-Crave(also in Cupertino) by 85C or journey up to Milpitas for some legit ice. Snowflake is a passing fad for me.

We came here for a small dinner and dessert. There isn’t a lot of seating in this place and gets busy after dinner time(~8pm). A lot of customers who wanted to dine in ended up having to take out their order. I ordered the udon noodles with fried fish balls, shrimp balls with filling, and fresh mushroom in curry sauce. I’d say the noodles are just alright, after all they are known for their shaved ice. I ordered the Guava shaved ice and it was really refreshing and had coconut jelly, strawberries, and lychee popping boba. The reason why I am giving this place a one star despite their delicious shaved ice is because the staff used BAREHANDCONTACT on the foods they serve to the customer. Sure, for the noodles and what not it’s okay because you’re cooking them before serving it to us. BUT, I couldn’t help but notice that the staff making shaved ice was positioning the ice on the shaver with his bare hands. What’s the point of using plastic bags to place the ice on the machine if you’re going to touch it with your hands anyway? Between making the shaved ice, I didn’t see the staff wash his hands either and continuously used his arm to wipe off sweat off his forehead, GROSS! They also did the same with the crepes. The man making the crêpe continuously used his bare hands to touch the crêpe and garnished it without gloves either. Surely this must be a health and safety hazard. I’d rather not have my shaved ice with a side of e coli thank you very much.
