I haven’t had it in over 2 years but I’m a sucker for their hot 3 piece strips with BBQ sauce n a side of taters and 1 biscuit I didn’t finish the mashed potatoes… I have a feeling I’m gonna pay for it later

I love Popeyes but San Jose generally does not meet standards of restaurants back east. Cheap on spicy seasoning, luke warm heat lamp chicken and even the service is just so so. If I didn’t love the brand so much I’d never return to this location.

Terribly slow service. I ordered a 3 piece dinner meal and had to wait for 20 other orders in front of me because they dont skip numbers. What a joke

We got some food to go today at your location. As my son was eating the Jambalaya a skinny bone poked my son in the roof of his mouth causing him pain and made his mouth bleed. On top of that, the thigh in my meal was not cooked all the way so that went in the trash. I tried calling the 800# and sat on hold more than 10 minutes so I called corporate office who would not hear my complaint but instead forward my call where I sat on hold another 5 minutes. I hung up and called the restaurant. As of now the phone has been ringing there for 3 minutes with no answer. I have hung up and called back twice, still no answer. How does a restaurant not answer their phone?! I am NOT happy.

Terrible service, terrible staff, and they are always out sauces and certain items. They ran out of Spicy chicken strips on two separate occasions… how is that possible?

I love yo biscuits… This place is seriously always busy. I’ve honestly only had biscuits from Popeyes so I can’t review on anything else. Oh and also nice employees too.

I have tried a lot of the items on the menu and the only thing I found tolerable was the mash potatoes and gravy. The rice side didn’t even have a consistency of rice. Overall I would stay away from this restaurant.

Richard, the manager, is awesome! Everyone just got off work so it was busy. He was able to multitask and get the orders out on time. Plus the food was great!

They’re just lucky I love Popeyes’ fried chicken and this location is the closer one. The location on E Capitol has so much better service. The workers here are useless and apparently have no idea where things are and how the shop even works? Like I came in at a time where the place was empty and the workers were too busy bickering with each other to even get my order out. All I got was 2 pc and a biscuit and it took them 10 minutes to get it when there’s a pile of chicken right there. I got a large drink and asked for the cap and the dude just stared at me like wtf is this girl talking about, then proceed to turn to whom I assume was the manager seeing how he was acting all high and mighty, and the manager was like«huh? We don’t have any of those.» Like umm, I know there are lids for the large drinks because I have gotten it before. From this location too. And another female worker tried half heartedly to check but they just shrugged it off in the end and tried to give me a mashed potato lid as a substitute. Wtf? Workers also talk to each other too much and don’t pay enough attention to actually working. I usually don’t even complain about service because I’m lenient and I don’t expect much from fast food joint, but holy cheese, their service is crap and unprofessional. I find better service with street vendors and their carts. Get your shit together.

3 Words. F**** this place. Don’t even bother to read the review unless you like story telling. Just know that this place sucks balls and their employees don’t deserve minimum wage. Go to KFC and give Colonel Sanders the reach-around for having superior employees. I came in the other day to get some food with a friend when I noticed there was a $ 5.00 box combo meal decal on the door. When I tried to order it I was rudely told«We don’t have that yet boss.» Which at first made me want to knife hand the shit out of him. I’m not your boss, HOMIE… although I could do a better job than the chubby guy who wears the yellow shirt in the back pretending to manage this filthy store. Looked like a bottle of mustard mixed with a Dirty Sanchez porn-stache. Anyways, I then asked for their butterfly shrimp and again was told they they were out. Ok fine so I ended up ordering a popcorn shrimp meal with drink and side. When I went to the soda fountain their orange/fanta was out of syrup and when I told one of the employees he simply looked at me with that«I can’t do anything because i’m an imbecile» look and kept talking to two female«friends» that came in(who weren’t customers but were given free drinks anyways). Maybe if I came in with a crop top and flirted with home-boy behind the counter I’d get decent service too. When my order came up I asked for butter and again was told«We’re out» ok then how about honey mustard? «Sorry we’re out of that too.» LIKEJESUS F***INGCHRISTWHATDOYOUHAVE? Finished my meal quietly but ripped that damn decal off the door since I wasn’t the only one who tried to order it(and was rudely shut down). Like seriously the manager should have honored the promotion and if he didn’t have that ability then he SHOULDN’T BE A MANAGER. He clearly didn’t know how to run a store. Probably gonna end up calling their corporate office. And these people want $ 15/hour…What a joke. KFC4LYFE

The place was completely filthy, and there were plenty of workers to clean it. The staff was aloof at best and they were out of the ripping chicken that they are running commercials every 20 minutes to promote. Won’t be back.

This location has the worst management and staff. After I stepped out of Popeye with my order, a staff rushed out and grabbed my bag of food, simply said«I gave you the wrong order.» Before I got a chance to acknowledge her, she just rushed back to the store without signaling me what she was up to. Out of blue I followed her to the cashier table, waited for 5 more minutes without any further instruction(who is taking care of it and when my meal will be ready!) after 7 minutes of waiting, I asked for a refund. The guy who looked like the manager with yellow shirt asked what was wrong. I explained the situation, and he just turned his back to me without apologizing or saying a word! I mean, come on!

I love Popeyes chicken! My favorite orders on the menu are chicken strips and the chicken sandwich. This is one of the smallest locations and it’s nearby the dealership. The customer service is really professional and treat their customers well. They give you a lot of sauce and provide your order in a timely manner. Only negative reason I don’t like Popeyes is that they only accept cash! That to me is really surprising since almost every fast food chain accepts them.

I came here for the first time today. There was a line and a wait after ordering that seemed a bit too long but once we got our food it was hot and fresh. They seemed to have a ton of chicken cooked up and waiting but we ordered the tenders and it seemed everyone else was too so they were not able to keep up. I was just happy my food was hot, fresh and cooked well once I did get it.

Popeye’s is everywhere, and I figured I’d give it a review. Just off the 87, so it’s not too bad. Surrounded by a Subway and McDonald’s, but if you’re not in the mood for a burger or a sandwich, this is a great alternative. It’s not the cheapest, but it’ll get the job done. 4 mixed piece meal(comes with a side and biscuit) and an extra side will rund you about $ 11. Got some fries and some macaroni which was really good. Chicken was cooked very well, and if you get a breast, thigh, and two drumsticks, it’s a lot of meat. The workers are all high school students or college students, but they know how to do their job. I asked about the Ghost Pepper Chicken and they gave me a free sample. There is a TV there to watch if you’re sitting in the booths, so that’s nice as well. Always good food here and good service. Real clean too. Will be back. Shoutout to Adam Jones.

I love, love, love, love fried chicken. And this is one of the best place to satisfy my cravings whenever I am craving it. I bought the 16 deal(mixed chicken) which was $ 21.99. Don’t need any of that mash potato or biscuit stuff, just right to the main course plz. But anyways, the chicken is crispy, wet and tender. Everything you would want in fried chicken. I literally just waited 5 minutes and everything was ready. PROS: –The chicken is perfect. PERFECT. –Super crispy –Able to feed 4+ people –Super moist –DELICIOUS –HADLEFTOVERS –Gives you ketchup/honey as much as you want CONS: –You can’t get any of that barbecue sauce or those other exotic sauces that you crave, because those are only for chicken tenders. –_-;;(have to pay extra) BUT, that’s not such a big deal & overall, I was satisfied with my food & I plan to come here whenever I have cravings for fried chicken again. :)

This Popeyes is always busy for dinner and there is usually a line. The service is pretty fast and friendly. The food is consistently good. I go here for my spicy chicken fix. It’s consistent, reliable and convenient.

The guilt… I can feel it in my arteries. Popeyes fried thighs and chicken for a buck something on Tuesdays is a great bargain and a devilish temptation for me. It’s greasy but crispy and is definitely packed with great flavor. I prefer Popeyes over KFC any day. You can see the grease right away when you get your order. And you most likely will feel the grease after consuming the stuff. But it’s hard to deny that fried goodness! July 6 is national fried chicken day folks so it’s only patriotic if you indulge in some Popeyes that day. In terms of service some of the workers aren’t too friendly but others are normal. Our server seemed impatient but maybe because it was extremely busy that Tuesday.

Ahhhh… today wasn’t a good day. Most anything I wanted wasn’t available, I didn’t have time to wait. For a fast food joint, its pretty slow to get your food/served. The legs, thighs & wings weren’t ready. If there were any, it was the spicy when I want mild. I opted for the nuggets. Flavor is good, but of the 6 pieces? it’s like 33% meat and 67% batter. For $ 2.99, I felt kinda ripped off. *** As I was waiting for my food, the manager was stuffing chicken into the box for the customer… I hate it when they’re cheap, they won’t use seperate boxes for the half/half chicken and using paper and pushing it down with their hands then forcing the lids shut only to have it pop open again… I don’t know about you, I don’t want anyone to smush my fried chicken squeezing the living grease out of it :/
