Polo’s Landscaping

Hi Everyone,
I met Polo one day as he pulled over near my house with his truck and trailer. Years later he has as done several jobs.
Lawn sprinkler improvement. He and his team added replaced galvanized sprinklers with PVC and improved the zoning, then improved\added sprinklers in the back yards and drip irrigation at planting beds between the house and concrete paths surrounding property.
Ripped out juniper and installed irrigation for curbside beds. He cut the concrete to neaten, reshape and enlarge those areas. They look great years later after I’ve worked the soil, planted trees, flowers and ground cover.
Prepared lawns for my self seeding attempt. Eventually he’s replaced some areas of my seeding job with Sod.
Seven years later and I’m back in touch with Polo:
Further improve sprinklers due to some changes I’ve made.
Remove grass\weeds\poor soil.
Rototill, add compost to soil and resod.
Add flagstone stepping stones at high traffic areas that have compressed soil.

He put in a red common brick in cement border around a tree in the bay yard.
He suggested detail cut corners and that looked so much better than just parallel bricks. He showed us the bill from South Bay Supply where he prefers to get bricks for 90 cents each, instead of red common from Lowe’s or Home Depot at 43 cents each. And he left behind the company’s hose spray nozzle we have left on the porch for weeks. The new lawn border is level and looks great !
