Paul Kan DDS

I like going there since Dr. Kan is very helpful and their prices are much better than other places.

He is a nice dentist, very thorough, knowledgable in his field, perfectionist, he wants the best for you not opportunistic. He’s a cheerful person too, you will be happy surrounding him. Happiness is very important in healing process. I had veneer done with him and when it’s chipped, he replaced it for free and he did it pleasantly not with a grumpy heart. I love this dentist, may God bless him, family and his business.

I was originally going to give Dr. Kan 1 star but after reading one of the other reviews, I decided to give him 2 because like her, I grew up with Dr. Kan as my family dentist and he and his receptionist, Karen, always remember me and my parents.
However, aside from that, I can’t say that I would ever go back. No one ever really likes going to the dentist (or so the generalization goes), so all my life, I just thought all dentist experiences were like the ones I was getting. Maybe there was better out there, but I wasn’t sure. And with only needing to see him twice a year, I was too lazy to find out what else was out there…
Too lazy until last year, when moving away from home forced me to look. And boy, was that the best thing that ever happened to me (oral health-​wise). My dentist now is amazing. My cleanings are virtually pain-​free, unlike with my cleanings by Dr. Kan. He is never careful with my gums and I always leave with them bleeding. Dr. Kan also always rushes my cleanings; he does such a shoddy job. My current dentist takes his time and gives me the most detailed cleaning ever. He even did a perio charting of my gums to assess my risk of periodontal disease!

Dr. Kan is awesome. He’s always very cheerful and promotes a very relaxed environment. He really takes the time to explain things if we have any questions and all the work he’s done on my family and me has always been top notch and has held up for many years.
Another huge plus is that in addition to English, he speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and Indonesian. A couple members of his staff even speak Vietnamese so it’s been very easy for me to recommend people here.

I can’t even recall how many years I’ve been going to Dr. Paul Kan. He watched me grow up, from elementary school to college days.
Even though I only go twice a year, for my bi-​annual check up… he still remembers exactly who I am as well as my family members! Dr. Paul Kan and his staff provide a very comfortable environment — seeing as though many are afraid of going to the dentist.
Uphold high professionalism, and great dental skill/​knowledge/​experience. I personally would recommend anyone who is in search for a new Dentist to Dr. Paul Kan.

Dr. Kan is excellent, he is so professional and detail. He has been our family dentist for many years, even though we live in San Francisco and is a long drive. I highly recommend Dr. Kan without any reservation.
