Murtha Moulding

In order to remodel my house, I had a suffering experience like «LES MISERABLES» by Hugo!
About two months ago, I asked a Chinese contractor to work on my house for crown moulding, baseboard, and a window bench (I am not a bias, I am a Chinese myself). The previous general contractor created a «moulding mess» for me, I really wanted to CRY at that time. Since I bought all my mouldings from THE MOULDING COMPANY, so I went there to ask them to recommend someone, and they recommend Christian Murthur. So the Owner of this company is Christian Murtha, he is a moulding installation professional. All the mouldings and baseboards demostrations from THE MOULDING COMPANY were installed by him. Actually, THE MOULDUING COMPANY’s mouldings has really good price, at least 50% less than the price in THE BIG BOX COMPANY, and there are a lot of nice workers there, and you can also ask as many SAMPLES as you can.
OK, back to the long story, after I recognized all the MISTAKES that the previous contractor made, I felt so so upset!!! The previous contractor used nails that were too short to install the crown mouldngs, and hit on dry wall only (Not on STUD)!! He also left a big GAP between the ceiling and moulding all the way. The previous contractor also installed the baseboard with «5mm space» between the baseboard and the wall. When it came to the bottom of the baseboard, you can stick a finger between the carpet and the bottom of the baseboard, about 1 cm gap! It is ridiculous, but it is true! The previous contractor also created a Cementary «Coffin-​like» window bench for me, which I wanted to scream! At that time I was so stressed and everyday was a heart attack !!!
Finally, Christian fixed all those lousy crown mouldings, baseboards and a window bench, which were installed badly by the previous general contractor. I think his fee is fair and I realized it is only about 10% more than that BAD BAD general contractor.
Then after my new carpets installed on the 2^nd floor, I found out there were 4 doors that could not open!!! Then I asked Christian to come to fix the doors. He cut the doors for about $ 25 dollars per door, which is fair. He also charged me only $ 50 installation for a window bench that is over 86 inches long.
