Here is my experience: They asked for a deposit up front, and I paid it. Unfortunately, a few days later, I found and hired a lawyer that was local to me. We had discussed my case for a total of about 1 hour, and I asked them to wait (not do any more work) until I was ready to discuss more.
After I gave notice to them that I hired a local lawyer, they billed me for almost as many hours of work as my deposit for (way more then the hour we spent on the phone) — they kept almost all of my deposit. They claimed to have spent a lot of time reading through various documents I had provided. Not sure why they did that — they shouldn’t have! I specifically told them not to. Of course, I can’t PROVE what they did or didn’t do, as they well know… Also of course, they didn’t respond to my emails about this — just kept my money.
I decided that it would be better to have a local lawyer — this is NOT an invitation for them to keep as much of my money as they could… Dishonesty is not a good virtue for a law firm. Treat your customers with some respect.

If you are looking for an attorney that will have your back Dean Rossi is the one you want. I can speak from being on both sides of the fence. They are extremely knowledgeable, tactical and honest. They are worth every dollar. I am very happy with their work and highly recommend the firm.

I cannot put into words how unhelpful this law firm was. I sought them out for advice before purchasing a property, spoke directly with a named partner, purchased the property on his advice and then retained the firm to manage part of the transaction for me. After years of time and thousands of dollars in attorney fees, the project could not be completed due to a simple zoning problem that I would have expected any competent real estate law firm to be able to determine right from the start. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with this outcome the named partner advised me his advice was not guaranteed and suggested I may want to sue him if I was unsatisfied. Avoid this firm at all costs as they have zero ethics! I did not expect them to be perfect, but I would have thought they would own their original poor advice and offer some compensation after they collected thousands of dollars from me managing an impossible project.
