Love the Mexican traditional pastries the place was renovated & it looks good. All the bread has good taste. Cashier, owner, & staff are super friendly. Great customer service they greet you as you walk in through the door and ask you how your day is. Not that many stores do that. If you want the best Mexican bread in town this is your place to go to.

Looks like a family run business. They just renovated the place but the bread is still the best, con sabor al de mi pueblo en Mexico. Can’t beat the variety and truly traditional flavor. It’s out of my way but worth the drive every time.

Sweet traditional bread hardly comes accompanied with keywords such as artisan bread, but La Sonorense produces such soft tender and sweet delicacies that pastry chefs would be proud to bake. Not many of us expect greatness in our traditional Mexican pastries; at most, we want a sample of desserts for our morning coffee or a dessert display. La Sonorense pastry chefs have innocently crossed the line in Mexican bread baking, and raised the bar indefinitely. Dedication to their profession rivals the most fancy bakeries from the first melting bite to the delicate flakes left at the end. Be it a delicate cookie for elegance, or an homage to the traditional style, the desserts deserve a true recognition of excellence.

This is the best bakery in the Guadalupe/Washington/Horshoe area. They have the best pan dulce or Mexican Sweet Bread in town, especially the conchas and bolillos, but it is hidden away and looks a lot like a liquor store, not a bakery. Try La Taqueria La Mejor #2 across the street and make a trip out of it.
