Have never been more disappointed in an owner who is there every hour of everyday. If you are going to not trust a single person that works for you, you can not run a steady bar. This man thinks everyone is out to get him in some way! PHYSICALLY PUSHED ME out of his way, threatened me, and constantly putting down the other girls, him and I finally had it out about RESPECT and how he lacks any. After he repeatedly called me a «stupid fucking kid» too many times, I had to walk out for my own self respect. I will not be treated like dog shit especially when I worked with dog shit. The girls working there are trashy except Andreea who is the only one holding that place together. And she gets treated the worst. I feel bad for the regulars that are around there and just watch it all happen. I’m gonna miss most of you barfam!

This is my neighborhood watering hole. Mikey the owner is a terrific guy that makes you feel welcome from when you first meet him. Sometimes the place is really hopping for a neighborhood bar and grill. Check it out its great!

We live in the neighborhood and really like going here. It’s everything that we expect in a local bar. My favorite is that they serve real food!!! Yes! I’ve always felt safe and welcome too, no matter what time of day or night. :)

Perfect hole in the wall !!!
Bartender and Owner– very very nice people. The owner came and greeted me and noticed it was my first time there so he came back and gave me a jello shot. Instantly fell in love with the place.
The mini corn dogs, garlic fries, and burgers are AMAZING. Great bar food.
I love the energy of that place esp when the infamous bar song that comes on «one bourbon, one shot, one beer «that also comes along with the drinks! All for $ 8. WINNING.
Definitely came back the next day with my roommate since we live right down the street. I guess you can say we both have our «go to» for after work :)

After seeing review in other burger spots I knew I had to head to kcs. The jalapeño burger is a feast. I called ahead. Burger was ready when I got there. Mikey hooked it up!!! I’ll be back for another or a 5 cheese melt with bacon and a meat patty. Hella grubbin!!!

Nice funny bartender. Owner Mike is very friendly. gave us free Jell-​O shots for being first timers here, which were DELICIOUS. Probably the best Jell-​O shots I’ve ever had. Food smells good, we didn’t eat cause we are before but menu looks good. If you like little laid back bars then this is a place I recommend.

Mikes kc bar. What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said. It’s awesome. I live just over the train tracks from this place so I may be biased due to accessibility.
The owner (mike, go figure) is a beast of a business man. He has whipped this place in shape since taking it over a couple years ago. He is also the cook so chat with him about the food when you see him cruising around the bar drinking ice water.
The foods cool, the beers cheap and the bartenders are fairly nice, Danielle being my personal favorite. Stop in next time you are at cvs trying not to look over at the ugly strip mall across the street, you will be happy and surprised.

this is a pretty cool dive bar. it doesnt look like much from the outside but not shabby inside. the place has two pool tables in the back and a dart board… jukebox…two tv’s by the bar. small bar area at the front and tables in the back near the pool tables.
the food is also pretty good, i had the jalapeño burger and mini corn dogs, both winners. :)

Favorite dive bar in this area! I love that this place is so close to me. I will never hesitate to walk over to grab a drink or watch the Sharks play.
All of the bartenders here are pretty fantastic. Carla makes a mean bloody mary and has her own secret way to concoct the magic. Mike always will indulge this lady’s sweet tooth with a jello shot of one kind or another. They always seem to have some kind of drink special going, so check the board and Wednesday/​Saturday are ladies nights.
Also, their bar eats are so good when you have a hankering for some wings. Nice and crispy wings and juicy burgers. You cannot lose here!
Downside: Closes at midnight. Only upside to that is that I will get into a lot less trouble some nights!

We chose Bar KC to meet up with friends before the Sharks game one night, and it was an awesome time! We had a group of about 20 people, and this was the perfect place for a large group.
The bartender Carla was really funny and sweet and made our foofoo drinks strong!
We had some mini corn dogs and a cheeseburger (both were delicious) and I had a few cocktails, my boyfriend had a few beers and we only spent $ 30! awesome pregame place!
OH, and I cant forget the DELICIOUS red velvet cake jello shots mike brought out and topped with whipped cream for us ladies! YUM!
The owner Mike is a total stud/​sweetheart, and even joined us in a game of pool after he made sure we were all happy and taken care of!
Definitely coming back when we are in SJ!

The fact that the owner reminds me of Bill from the movie «Kill Bill» will bring me back time and time again. Oh, and their awesome, amazing fries… and chili cheese fries. I think they are the best fries I’ve ever had, especially coming from a neighborhood dive bar.
Yes, this bar is super dive-​y. Two pool tables in the back and one dart machine. They got a regular menu, serving hot dogs and wings and burgers, and they got a full bar and friendly bar staff that will fill your tummy and unclench your thirst.
Mike makes AMAZING red velvet jello shots and strawberry shortcake jello shots. Wow, the red velvet was the best I’ve had, and it’s only $ 2 during ladies night on Wednesdays! I think ladies get half off of drinks on ladies night… sounds like a totally rockin’ good deal to me!
Oh… You’ll probably find me here drunkenly eating fries.

God bless Unilocal and Unilocalers, because how on Earth would I have found this place (and decided to go in) otherwise?!
There’s not a WHOLE lot to say, I suppose, Darts (very old «arcade-​ized» version) and two pool tables in the back, with a few tables. Most of it is a pretty narrow bar area.
The people working there were friendly and patience with our randomness. I enjoyed the Fireball shot (with cinnamon) and it didn’t feel at all sketchy. I joined my friends late (after they’d already had some free jello shots) and enjoyed their fries even though they were cold! Definitely coming back for food.

This place is awesome — total dive bar and Mike looks JUST like Lundberg from Office Space — so great. Also, they serve Blue moon on tap, icy cold and with an orange on the side. Love it!
The clientele has a pretty interesting blue collar vibe — although there are a few less teeth than there should be… but that’s all part of the fun of a dive bar: D
