Jack In the Box

Would give this place no stars because of a employee named KASSANDRA she gave thebworst customer service. I wanted a cup of water and taco sauce and she never gave neither to me. Straight disrepectful and neglecting customers need.

For me, they’ve been pretty decent. I have heard complaints from other people that they have messed up their orders before or that they seemed to have switched their food with somebody else’s, but that’s never happened to me! –color me lucky, I guess. It has happened to some members of my family –just not me –and for that, I docked a star, but other than that, they’re pretty good.
I’m also digging the new look, which is a vast improvement from the past. It definitely needed an upgrade and I’m glad that it’s happened (granted, it occurred a number of years ago, lol)!

Love the location of this place because it is easy to get in and out. The tacos are nice and crisp which is what I expect and so are the curly fries. The drive thru is slower than the east bay locations and you need to make sure your order is right before you leave… Well I am just telling all the wives out there because my husband had to go back and claim his fries because I was a not so good wifey and forgot to check the bag on the way out one time.

Worst service ever!!! Went thru, the drive thru. Food was cold. The employees were too busy talking to each other. Ordered Jack’s munchie meal, which was suppose to come with a little bit of curly fries and regular fries but mine had only one curly fry and the rest regular fries. If Jack knew about this, i don’t think he would be too happy!

indian lady was rude and didnt understand what the fck i said. i said small she assumed large and she added fries and curly fries. 2 orders when i only ordered 1 small.

This is my go to JITB as it’s close to home. Yay, East Side. Everytime I go, I see new employees. I was last there a few days ago… the order taker at the drive thru was in total monotone, robot mode and had a giant hickie on her neck. Yuck. Light eyes. Sorry, you’re still not cute. The supervisor was an Indian lady who I overheard telling the paisas («jokingly») to not speak Spanish. When she noticed me noticing her, she broke into a nervous, pee-​worthy smile. Caught you! Oh yeah…

I came here for what I thought would be a quick bite, I sure regretted it. I waiting about thirty minutes for two tacos and a chicken sandwich. They were not that busy beyond their usual crowd. They sureley forgot about my order. The employees did not look serious and it just gave me the impression mistakes are very okay here. Quality service, forget about it. It wasnt until they noticed me standing there for a while that they asked about my order. I witnessed while I was there another guy getting his order screwed up also. I was actually about to just leave.

The Jack In the Box has good food. It has a drive thru. It has restrooms inside.

Had to grab food real fast and fast food was what we got! Ordered 2 tacos, a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, and 3 Sour Dough Jack meals. We were greeted by the cashier as we came, he took our orders, told us the food will be out shortly, we waited about 5 minutes and the food came out. The restaurant on the inside was fairly clean. Nothing to complain about~ we were in and then out.

No problems with the food. The only big issue and why I am giving this one out of five stars is because of the Customer Service. They seriously sound very unhappy, I understand it’s late at night but do not try and make this worse by yelling through the drive thru speaker. Usually when I ask for sauce, they usually give out more than one, but this store is very selfish.

Maan. I don’t even know why I went here this morning. maybe because it was too late to turn left on Tully Rd for Jack in the Box coming from South Capitol Expressway. or too late to turn right on Story Road for Burger King. So I thought, eeh what the heck. hopefully they’ll be nicer today. And why o why it’s always too damn good to be true dammits. another damn old smelly ass burger patty between my old burger buns… all hard and rubbery like a damn used old tire. This place used to be the place to go for a drive thru back in the day… now the attitudes are changing, people are not what it used to be… Services can easily get away with anything now… Dammits man… the Truck Vendors that sells a dollar tacos has better services than this place… Therefore, I would not recommend this burger joint anymore, their burger patties are probably as worse as the zombies that roams the cemetery right across the street from them. Unless you wanna sue a Burger Joint from getting an Ulcer Cancer, then this Burger Joint would give you the opportunity of becoming a really fucked up rich person.

Overall, I had no problems with the food… it was based on service. Every time I come here, it’s fine, but there’s always that one manager that gives you shitty service (Indian lady with Glasses), and that was last night.
Yes, I know, you don’t love your job, but when a customer is trying to communicate with you about the order, or try to hand you her card, you open the window half-​ass as if I was going to do something. When I asked for extra ranch, she just said «Oh I already gave it to her, it should be there, don’t give it to her no more», in a really rude voice. The guy who gave me the food and drink, was nice enough to give me a couple and apologized for the inconvenience. I don’t mind if i have to pay for the sauce, as long as you guys let me know, or give me one, I’m fine.
Overall, change your manager’s attitude/​service, I’ll find my business somewhere else.

1 star is giving them more credit than they deserve. Customer service is garbage and their food is always stale like its been sitting for hours. Piece of advice, never get spicey chicken sandwhiches from here, their patties/​fillets are always old! Matter of fact, stay far away from this place as possible. Terrible!

Can you say irritating all I wanted to order was two big cheeseburgers and two tacos through the drive thru and the lady managed to screw that up. All I can say is please have someone who speaks English as their first language and not their second

This is THEE worst Jack In The Box in the San Jose area and I have already let the JITB headquarters know it. You would think that with the upgrades and remodel that this place would get it together, but no. My usual is the Spicy Chicken sandwich combo with 2 tacos and I go thru the drive thru.
To start, the employees are rude and sharp. They don’t smile at all. Next, when did get my food, the chicken on my sandwich was luke-​warm, lettuce wilted, tacos were cold and the paper wrapper stuck to the tacos and they didn’t even give me the right fries I asked for. I asked for regular fries and got curly. And even those were cold. Like sitting-​in-​some-​corner cold. The worst part is this is not the first time this has happened.
I pretty much expect this JITB do somehow screw up my orders, and they succeed. So I no longer go there.
If I were to recommend a good JITB to go to, I would say the one on McKee Rd and Toyon Ave. Food is always hot and order is always correct.

Service here is mediocre at best.
A visit during April 2011 with my cousin, it took them 23 minutes to make our small order. The friends we came with were already done with their food by the time they brought out ours. We ordered right after them too.
Talk about complete fail.
I visited again about a week ago, they took almost 10 minutes to have a simple order of tacos and mini churros ready. I asked if my order was ready. They simply said, we’re doing the drive-​thur orders first.
I was like wtf? I ordered 10 minutes before these people and they are getting their order first. Another fail by this particular location. I could clearly see on their order monitors that mine was flashing red, the timer passing 10 minutes, and the drive thur orders were newer, but they were served first.
Do yourself a favor if you want Jack in the Box, don’t go to this one, go to a different one. The one by my house off of Tully Road has good service and they’ve never failed me.

I personally hate this place. mainly because they will forget your order when it is packed. This has happened to me about ⁴⁄₅ times already so I am avoiding this place at all cost now.
Food: Average, nothing make this jack any special compared to any of the other fast food.
Price: standard jack in the box prices. cheap low quality food.
Service: POOR.
Location, easy to get to by simply exiting the free way 680 alum rock.

I just came home from the drive thru.
Jack in the box usually never let’s me down. I havent had jack in the box in over 2 month’s trying to eat better and healthier. I came here tonight after a long work shift and not having any energy to make something.
I get to the order screen and Ask for a Bacon ultimate cheese burger, curly fries, med. Coke. And 2 taco’s for my brother waiting at home.
After i order she says i want a number 11. I say no i want (I forget what number but its the ultimate bacon meal).She says it again so i correct her thinking maybe she cant hear me clearly? I proceed to move up to the window to be greeted by a rude mexican girl with F’ D UP blonde dyed hair! hand her my card and she process the order. Hands me my card and my soda. then fling’s the bag at me. Im pretty forgiving and shrug it off. then i ask her for some buttermilk (EVERYONE ASKS FOR BUTTERMILK!) she hands me one. I asked for more cause i usually go through a couple and she says, «NO! I dont have anymore.» then i ask nicely if i could buy some and she say’s, «I dont have anymore. no…we ran out» So i get pissed off and drive away from the tweeker ass broad with F’d up hair.
Here’s the kicker. My buddy was right in back of me in line. He order’s and asked for buttermilk. He gets 3 – 4 right off the bat. WTF! we ran out my fuckin ass.
then we get to my house where i discover a Chicken sandwich, regular fries, and no fuggin tacos! Take a sip and its diet coke.
Jack in the box rep’s…Screen who you hire. Rude, Meth’d out, and dirty hand’s.Im sure you didnt build your company on those things. I will never eat here again!

Jack In The Box is definitely a large step down from McDonalds, and that isn’t really saying much. However, the french fries are decent, the $ 1.00 chicken sandwiches are good and the $ 1.00 mini funnel cake does have the lard-​ish yet sweet taste of a carnival. These items are good.
The burgers are dreadful. They are better at McDonalds or Burger King, which again, isn’t saying much.
The service is abysmal. I have never had service so slow at a fast food restaurant before. Imagine waiting 15 minutes for food. It sounds brief… and it is… in a sit down restaurant (i.e. if I went to Red Robin for a sandwich) but it is comically ludicrous that the wait time is so long in a fast food restaurant. Not once have I been here and received my food prior to a 10 minute wait. Never.
If you are on the run and need something quick that is non-​beef, it’s ok to stop in. Otherwise, if a McDonald’s is closer, go there instead.
