Honest Abe’s Heating and Air

I had a recurring problem with my furnace. Saturday morning it was 60oF in the house. Couple of weeks ago I had an other HVAC company to look at the furnace. They told me the furnace circuit board had the be replaced. $ 500 later I had the same issue: the furnace did not want to kick on. I called Honest Abe on a Saturday and 2 hours later Joseph came by the house. He quickly looked at the furnace and told me it was the Flame Sensor. He told me he was not going to charge me anything because the other company has to pay for the sensor. This is the best HVAC company I found. Joseph even told me about the Hero program to help me make the house more efficient. I would highly suggest Honest Abe for any HVAC works that you need to do. It is really rare to find a honest company now days.

Well, not sure how «honest» their prices are, but they were able to come out the same day we called them & recharge our AC unit. Albeit, the tech was over 30 minutes late for the appointment. Unfortunately, our unit is still leaking so I had the company who originally installed the unit come take a look. He was appalled at how much Honest Abe’s charged for their services, and I was floored to find out that it was almost 3x what they charge! Lovely. So give them a call if you’re desperate and need same day service, but make sure you ask how much it will cost up front so you’re not bamboozled like we were.
