Strangely, this Sprint store in the heart of downtown San Jose does not show up in a search for stores through Sprint’s Web site, but it does indeed exist, and it’s a good one. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Eduardo and Edison. I was exploring upgrading my service and purchasing a new phone. They listened carefully to the features I was seeking, made great recommendations, and didn’t try to pressure me into purchasing services or goods I didn’t want or need. Eduardo went above and beyond when he didn’t have the phone I wanted in stock, spending a long time on the phone with Sprint Corporate to see if he could track down the phone from elsewhere(ultimately unsuccessful) and then following up within the next week to offer alternatives. I ended up having to purchase the phone I wanted from another area Sprint store, because this store wasn’t able to get it for me, but it wasn’t for lack of effort on their end(it sounds like Sprint is discontinuing the model and burning off existing stock without restocking), and I was sad I couldn’t give them my business this time around. Please consider going here first for your Sprint needs and supporting this downtown business that truly does seem to value customer satisfaction.

Recently, La Novia lost her phone charger to her cell phone. So I came here to purchase one for her. Sadly, they did not have the right one in stock. The guy looked all over the store, but to no avail. He really thought he had it. Had he had the charger, they might have ended up with a 3-star review. The lack of charger clearly should be a lower score, right? Wrong. He did look all over for me. That shows effort. In addition, he gave me other stores to look at in the area(and they were Verizon stores). He just wanted to help me. And lastly, he gave me 50-cents for the parking meter. So I profited from my visit to his store. Wow. That never happens. I’m a fan.
