We looked at living at this apartment complex. Discussed rent and deposits with the property manager and decided to fill out an application. Apparently the application fee is $ 35 per person cash only so we went down to a local ATM and provided the fee. We received no call for a few days and when the property manager did call to tell us we had been approved she also mentioned that the rent would be $ 100 more per month than previously discussed and more deposit. This put the apartment out of our price range so we decided not to move in. My issue is this. If we were given the proper disclosure on rent and deposits we would have never filled out the applications in the first place, saving us $ 70. No refund was offered and due to their requiring the fees to be cash I really think this is a scam. As far as I know, the property manager could have pocketed the cash and bumped the rent up to have us no longer wish to live there. Just go in aware of this situation and maybe we’ll save you some money. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – Update: We attempted to email the Management Company for this property regarding the issue with the Property Manager but have received no response. Not a good sign that they would quickly resolve issues if you are a renter. Makes me even more glad we rented elsewhere.

Have a huge issue with the property manager Frank. This is consumer related. If anyone who manages this page who’s not the property manager could get back to me that would be appreciated.
