Came to this location on Sunday 2÷02÷16. My son and I both ordered the Chicken Crispers as this is our favorite item and we get it every time we come here. For one, our server never came by and asked us how we were doing after our food arrived or if he could bring is anything else. I had to stop him to ask for more water. Also, as we were driving home(we live about 10 mins away) my stomach started to hurt. Tried getting home as fast as I could and barely made it to the bathroom. The food ran right through me and my son. Seeing as we had the exact same thing, I know it was the chicken. I ended up calling and speaking to the manager whose name was also Lisa and told her what happened. She apologized and said she would go and let the kitchen know. She didn’t offer compensation nor did I ask, which according to a few people I asked, they said I should have asked for my money back. I wonder if anyone else got sick this from the crispers

Wanted to give Chili’s another try and give them the benefit of the doubt. We got seated right away and the server said he’d be right with us. We waited 15 minutes while the server talked to a table two booths behind us about schooling and tuition. He easily could’ve interrupted and said he’d be right back while he took our order. But we just left and the server didn’t even notice or try to stop us. Absolute last time we try coming to this on.

Not bad at all for a chain. Food tastes fresh and was served quick and just right, decent prices, very friendly staff — no complaints from this family. Plus we loved the Ziosk at the table and TVs for entertainment.

Great place to take the family for dinner night out. They have something for everyone. And the waitress we had last time(Heather) was amazing! I love being able to call ahead to get on the list.

We just had dinner here. It was a terrible experience. We use to come to here when my kids were younger but recently I noticed that the food is not the same. I use to like their fajitas. I ordered a chicken and steak one tonight and it was awful. No flavor and no spice at all. I noticed that the portions are noticeably smaller now. The service was so bad too even we got there at 430 which is still so early for them to get busy. I got my food without any condiment and I have to wait 3 – 4 min to get that at my table. I asked for more tortilla which never made it to my table and we left there unhappy and disappointed. I don’t think I am going to go back.

Visually speaking, this location stands out. The interior and exterior look great. Foodwise, however, this location is lacking. I ate here on Monday night with 5 others. We arrived at about 9(the restaurant closed at 11). I wanted to watch the end of the Cowboys-Redskins game(it was playing on the TV near the entrance), but the MLB Network was on the TV near us(my dad was at least fine with that). Some good songs were played inside. For example, «The Miracle(Of Joey Ramone)» by U2. It’s very nice inside, but there could be more room to move around(I twice had to wait for people to clear out of my way). Our server was friendly, but too casual(in other words, he was slow). It was partly our fault, but it took a while before we were fully able to order. Our server also took a long time getting our drinks(the restaurant was less than half full). It seemed longer, but we received our main dishes after about 15 minutes. My mom was surprised that I didn’t like the service, but we were left waiting for a fair amount of time twice. Our server actually arrived with the bill when I began to complain about how long it was taking. A female server really impressed me(she was spunky and energetic), but she wasn’t around much. Anyway, our total was $ 84.84. Our server was given a $ 13 tip because I didn’t have a say in the matter. A group of young people were suddenly seated next to us. They were loud, but kind of entertaining. We received 2 baskets of Tostada Chips(this was more than enough). Some of them were a bit too salty, but I stuffed myself(my aunt commented on how hungry I was later). My wife made me laugh by slowly topping a bunch of chips with guacamole(she had half of it). My mom both complimented and complained about how thin the chips are(they can easily break apart when you dip them). No one really touched the salsa. My aunt was so unimpressed that she basically said that the salsa here is glorified tomato sauce. : Crispy Cheddar Bites($ 6.29): 7.5÷10. We were given over 30 «white & yellow Wisconsin cheese curds.» I had about half of them before the Cajun spice and chopped cilantro got to me. My wife and dad were bigger fans. The«house-made anchochile ranch» sucked(I knew that it would just by looking at it). My aunt basically said that it was salt mixed with mayo. Crispy Chicken Crispers: My dad seemed pleased overall. He was given 5 pieces(at the Union City location, he was recently given 8– not all locations are the same). He liked his skillet mashed potatoes and corn on the cob(he shared the latter with my mom). Grilled Chicken Fajitas: 7⁄10. My wife received a fair amount of chicken. The pieces were long and tasty. The flour tortillas were«fine.» My wife didn’t have most of her veggies. For $ 1 more, my wife had some Black Beans and Citrus-Chile Rice. She didn’t like either(my mom also didn’t like the Citrus-Chile Rice). : Combo– 6 oz. Classic Sirloin with a Half Rack Of Baby Back Ribs($ 17.99): 8⁄10. It was smaller than I expected, but I loved my steak. It was cooked well and had almost no fat(I regretted not getting a 10 oz. steak for $ 4 more). (The steaks are partly good because they’re adorned with Chili’s seasoning and garlic butter.) I had my ribs coated with the Dr. Pepper sauce. It’s sweet and worth trying. I’m not docking for this(I knew what to expect beforehand), but the ribs at Chili’s are on the small side. They’re meaty, but short. No one wanted my steamed broccoli(my wife would have eaten the 3 pieces that I gave her, but she didn’t see them). I didn’t finish my skillet mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are kind of spicy here, which is fine with me, but the texture of my mashed potatoes could have been better(in short, they were a little lumpy and not creamy). Little Chicken Crispers: 8.25÷10. The kids’ menus are really nice(my aunt likes them too), and all the Pepper Pal meals are only $ 5.29(there are 10 selections for kids 12& under). My son drank most of his chocolate milk right away. He didn’t finish it, and he hardly touched his food(he mainly had some of the shredded cheese that was in front of my wife). He just wasn’t hungry(he spent a lot of time walking around the table with his plush Snoopy). My son received a lot of Homestyle Fries. They were tasty and not too salty. They were also long. The Little Chicken Crispers were a little too crunchy(overly breaded), but were otherwise good. Some of our food was too salty or spicy. That’s mainly why I’m not praising the food here more. There’s a solid amount of parking, but my dad parked by Intero Real Estate(your vehicle could get towed if you park at certain spots). I wasn’t blown away, but this is a solid location.

The menu is changed with great regularity, so the chain cannot be accused of sitting on its laurels. They do come up with some great dishes and quite unique flavors, from burgers to fajitas. We always eat and drink at the bar, where we have go to know many charming, energetic and skilled bartenders over the years. The bar has a true«local» atmosphere, with Coors and Bud on tap as well as an assortment of designer beers… I always go for Coors Light as I prefer to quench my thirst rather than eat my beer with a knife and fork… The lunch deals are great value(see the back page of the menu). Give it a try.

Came here for Lunch with my girL and her famiLy. We came in pretty deep with 4 aduLts and a set of twin infants. Parking Lot was fuLL and there were a good amount of peopLe standing around waiting to be seated. I was surprised by how quick we were seated and appreciated the big table they gave us in the back. It was roomy and away from other patrons which was probabLy a win-win for aLL parties since things can get pretty Loud with big parties. Our party ordered: Chips and SaLsa 6oz SirLoin Bacon Burger Honey-ChipotLe Chicken Crispers Cajun Chicken Pasta Presidente Margaritas(2) NY Cheesecake Toffee Fudge Brownie Food was good, drinks were even better– Nothing watered down. The customer service was great– aLL the empLoyees were friendLy and very understanding with our unavoidabLe messy tabLe. Great Location to visit and after a Long hiatus from Chili’s this Location might be a game changer for me. Thanks guys!

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a CHILI’S, a few years at least. I’ve gotten pretty healthy in the last year — mostly eating better and exercising much, much more. I ordered the combo fajitas for myself and big mouth sliders for my son. While the service was good, and the food not terrible — it was a shock to my pallet how damn salty their food is. It really makes you wonder if they are masking their quality by over salting their food. Like TGIFridays did in the past, Chili’s has gotten a little worse every year. Surprisingly enough, Chili’s is still packed on most nights. 3 stars.

Sitting in bar area, watching a new bartender struggle… on a Sat. and a holiday, not a good choice! Been waiting on our first drink for about 20 min… our waiter is very nice and apologetic but still… we may not make it to the food at this rate, thinking about bailing :/

I posted pictures. Tonight I had dinner here and ordered the mango tilapia. It came out with the edges cooked and looked normal till I got towards the middle and discovered it was uncooked/raw. I told the server who handled it immediately and apologized. The manager came about a minute after and apologized and agreed it was raw. He said he would check the ovens and kitchen. Well now I am sick to my stomach and have a rash on my body. They took the meal off the check and said sorry. I will be reporting this tomorrow to the health department.

Haven’t been to Chilis for the last 5 years. I missed their habañero Baby back ribs. Finally, decided to come back to this place again. I ordered the regular ribs and sirloin with mashed potatoes and panko onion rings. Preferably, I wanted the jalapeño corn bread instead of the onion rings but the manager informed me that they were currently sold out of it. I was looking forward to it but maybe next time. The mash was pretty good and the onion rings was about average. The ribs and the sirloin were ok. Now, «How do I want my meat cook?» Medium! Instead, it was medium well. Blahhhhhhh…

I come here about once a month with my mom or my sister. I am sad that the fajitas are no longer part of the 2 for $ 20 dinner deal, but i can live. The food is consistently cooked well and always the same great quality. I never have to wait that long for a table even if they tell me a 30 min wait, they usually seat me in half the time, and have a nifty app to show you how many parties are ahead of you so you know they aren’t skipping over you. Service can vary waiter to waiter but overall okay, and usually never takes longer than 20 minutes for our food to come which is awesome. I like that I can pay with their video screens on the tables so I don’t have to wait for the check to pay. My favorite dish is the original chicken crisper, which sets the ultimate standard for boring chicken strips. The blossom hill location is pretty awesome overall. I would like to see some Asian fusion dishes on the menu but I guess chili’s is traditional American/tex mex. But still, new and more eclectic menu items would be nice.

This place has gotten weird. We usually get take out, which is an ok experience. The food is fine for the price, so the take out experience is not unpleasant. This is probably why our dining experience in the restaurant was so surprising. We hadn’t done that for a while. There were two greeters. They were both surly and seemed unhappy. They told us the wait would be 20 – 25 minutes. It ended up being 50 minutes. They also didn’t say anything when we left — you know, the usual«thanks for coming!» We got nothing. Our waiter was ok. He got our daughter’s order wrong. We were in a bit of a hurry, so when he had to go back to the kitchen to get the correct entrée, which took another 20 minutes, it put us uncomfortably close to our deadline. Our waiter didn’t check on us very often. One person in our party got 1 drink refill. The water tasted bad — like it had been sitting in old pipes for a while. The food was very average. They overdo the salt to make up for a lack of flavor. I probably won’t go back — certainly not to the restaurant side. Maybe take out in a pinch.

This place is getting worse by the visit. The ONLY reason we still come here is because our boys love their Chicken Crispers and the Buffalo wings. The chicken wings we got were clearly from a dwarf chicken because they were tiny!!! The servers and hosts are friendly and attentive but i don’t want 5 refills on my drink before my food comes. The wait time to get your food is absurd!

Haven’t been here in a very long time. I hear the lunch special; soup and salad deal is good. I hear the drinks and happy hour are good. However, yesterday we stopped in for dinner. We ordered: mango chile chicken, grilled chicken with broccoli and my son had Mac n cheese with chocolate milk. Both chicken dishes had a strange texture, not your normal chicken. We even asked if it was«real» chicken! I know, dumb right? but seriously, it was disgusting. I’ve never had chicken like that before. I could press my fork into it and the«chicken» would seep through the tines of the fork, kinda like jello. It was a weird jello/sponge like texture. So gross. I lost my appetite immediately and couldn’t eat it! They brought me a salad instead and took it off our bill. My son was fine with his meal until the dessert came, he took two bites of it and immediately felt a «tummy ache». This has never happened before! That kid can eat his desserts, Lol! At home he suffered the consequences of eating there, poor thing. We have no idea what made him sick to his stomach and running to the bathroom constantly. The food and chips had way too much salt. The guacamole dip and choc molten cake was fine, I guess. The happy hour prices were good. I would return there only for the drinks, definitely would not want to eat there again. Three stars for the nice service, decent drinks and the bar area with all the TV’s with different sports on. Also, no wait if you grab a table in the bar area.

Pro: our waiter was really nice. Con: Food was just generic. The smoked wings were not good! Looked NOTHING like the picture and didn’t have any flavor. They depended way too much on the tiny side of BBQ sauce. The restaurant was freezing and I felt like I needed my winter coat Burrrrr! Also had the quesadilla salad, while it was pretty fresh, the quesadilla was bleh. How can you mess up a simple cheese quesadilla?

We stopped by here on the way home from Santa Cruz. I was not impressed. I ordered a salad and the chicken was tender enough but the dressing was all globbed right in the middle of the salad. The produce/lettuce was not fresh enough for me. My fiancé liked his salmon and the service was good which is the only reason why I’m giving this a three-star review.

I haven’t been to Chili’s in quite a while. This location has updated the inside of their restaurant to give it a more modern and new look. Additionally, they have technologically advanced their store by providing little electronic tablet like things that allow you to browse the menu, play games while you wait, and pay. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. The tortilla skins were crispy but not burnt and were filled generously with chicken, bacon, and cheese. I would’ve liked a little more sour cream in the middle of the dish since there were a lot of quesadilla pieces, but that’s not a huge deal. I also ordered a beer for lunch. They gave me the option of a small or large beer which actually surprised me since I didn’t know I had an option of beer size. I was told that the large is about 21−22oz and only a few cents more, so of course I opted for the large serving of Blue Moon, which was tasty as always. The service was alright. I came during peak lunch hours so it was pretty busy since it was also a Saturday. We ended up having to wait about a total of 20 – 25 minutes before we were seated. Once we were seated, we ordered our food and drinks, and waited some more. The food actually took quite a while to come out and I was really hungry. I think that the electronic tablets that are provided at each table are supposed to entertain the guests while they wait for their food, which I have to say is pretty clever. I didn’t really play around on the tablet since I wanted to engage in a conversation with my friend instead. But it’s always nice to have that option to play games or browse the menu. The other cool thing about the electronic tablet is that you can pay via credit right at the table. It even provides you with the option to split the bill evenly in two or three as well as an option to receive a receipt via paper or email.

The wait time at this Chili’s is always INSANE. Friday, January 17, 2015 it was almost an hour at 9:00PM! CRAZY! To top it off, there is not enough space for people waiting to sit indoors, so they must sit outside and freeze their ashes off! We got so tired of waiting, that we jumped on the first table in the bar that opened up. Much louder than in the dining room, but we trimmed 45 minutes off of our wait time. At this Chili’s the server actually sprayed the table with a cleaner before she wiped it off — amazing. The Gilroy Chili’s has never heard of cleanser — just a slimy old towel to sweep the food scraps on to the floor. Not that this Chili’s was the epitome of cleanliness — we watched the kitchen staff sweep food on the floor under the counter, instead of sweeping or picking it up — GROSS. Scroll through the pictures of this Chili’s to see a picture of the filthy floor. After I took a picture did they bother to sweep it up? NO — they merely pushed it under the counter. People were walking on these food scraps and tracking them out into the dining area — REALLYSICK! Our server was prompt and courteous. Our drinks and appetizers were at our table in a few minutes. Our meal was delivered as soon as our appetizers were completed — PERFECTTIMING. The ZOOSK table tablet did not have any WARNINGS about the hidden 99¢ charge for playing games on it. I made sure that we did not touch the thing, lest we receive a GOTCHACHARGE on our bill. This is a CHILI’S SCAM — so don’t play or touch the tablet computer on the table. Other scam — their alcoholic drinks do not have prices listed. Their specialty margaritas have a STEEPPRICETAG! You can spend 412 – 15 per drink if you don’t ask. None of their drink menus have prices posted, so be sure to ask the price when you order, or you will be surprised when you get your bill! The food was plentiful and fresh. Chili’s just isn’t like it used to be — the servings of fries have evolved from a BOTTOMLESS basket with free refills to a shallow tray(illusion of more) to the current small metal bucket. Overall — the VALUE is slipping away and the servings are shrinking. Used to ask for a BOWL of ranch dressing and got an actual soup bowl full. Now I just get a small cruet.
