We love Cslot. After trying several therapy centers for speech and ot for my toddler, we finally have stuck to Cslot for the past 7 months or so. My son attends speech, occupational therapy and also does the group therapy here twice a week. He has autism and significant language and sensory needs that are met here by the awesome, very patient and talented team of technicians and therapists. The front office staff is also very caring, friendly and always have tried to accommodate my needs. The gains my son made have been small but steady over the last 6 months. He went from not talking one legible word to having around 50 or so words and also doing more eye contact, pointing, joint attention and all the other skills one baby step at a time. We can’t thank everyone at Cslot enough!

We have been attending CSLOT for 2 months now for speech and I am pretty satisfied with our experience so far. The therapists are all caring and are mostly on top of things and the front office staff are always very friendly. Due to a switch of days, we have seen 4 different therapists and 3 of the 4 have been great. One seems to talk more about herself than doing actual therapy. I will say it is a little tough to schedule therapy as the schedule is somewhat limited, but it has all worked out so far. I still have not been billed for anything, and it’s been 2 months so hopefully they’ll get that sorted out soon, although I know it takes time with insurance.

I have been taking my twins to Cslot for 2 years. Cslot has changed their speech therapist 3 different times. Plus it took 7 months to get them on the same day and same time. Now Cslot has dropped 1 hour of their speech therapy time due to lack of staff. That has been going on for over a year. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

My severely Autistic non-​verbal son goes to CSLOT for OT and Speech. The staff is very professional, and quickly become a part of your kid’s team.
The more you are involved with the staff, the better they know your kid and then better are the results. (In other words, I have never tried, «Here’s my kid, please cure him.» attitude with them :); and they have never said, «We are professionals, and don’t need your inputs.» And that’s what is needed for your kid to be helped properly!)
I log my kid’s progress at various levels (some of these come if you are tracking his IEP/​ABA/​OT/​ST, but some come from talking to other parents/​professionals), and find myself sending the therapists, office manager and my medical insurance «positive» progress reports every two weeks on average. Most of the times, it is about things my son didn’t do in last 8 months to 3 years that we tried a lot, I find writing to them thanking that he is now doing. For example, sometimes it is his ability to catch a ball, throw a ball, ride a bike, confidently and naturally hang out in a party, initiate conversations, join words to form crude sentences, etc., etc.
Naturally, as there are results on a bi-​weekly basis, and some of these are «SIGNIFICANT» gains, I’m a huge fan on this place. I know not all kids/​parents have great progresses despite trying, but I know that everything about this place is right for MY kid. Besides gains in his skills, he enjoys the time here and looks forward to seeing the therapists here — even when they are closed on weekends and late in the nights! :)
I would recommend this place to you only because I’ve tried and tested this place, and my results (i.e., my kid’s future lifestyle) are in flying colors! :)

I have found that the CSLOT staff is as professional and genuine as it can get! whenever we enter and leave their office we are ALWAYS greeted with a warm smile and friendly hello/​goodbye. The therapists are so accomodating too — every time i suggest something to my son’s therapist they immediatly listen and take action. It’s definitely a parntership. When we first started using CSLOT, my son’s therapist, Sarah, had gone above and beyond to help guide me by sharing the right questions to ask other medical practioners (ie audiologist, ENT drs, school staff etc.). She helped me thru a very stressful time and am so thankful for her services. Thank you all CSLOT!

My son has been attending since January 2013. I have seen such tremendous growth from him. The staff is so friendly, compassionate, and helpful. They know every kids name that walks in the door and my son is always excited to see them. I am sad because my son will be three in a couple of months and we will be leaving such a great place. Each teacher he has had has been super warm and caring. The front office staff is so friendly that my son runs over every time to talk to them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My son had speech therapy at this place for two years. He made a lot of improvements during the first year that we were surprised. Thanks to Brandi and Alana who were so kind and patient with him. They are the best!

Also, Office Manager, Angela is very friendly, knowledgable person. She communicates with parents very well and resolves any issues with insurance in a timely manner. She knows every kid’s name and greets everyone with her nice smile.
We loved this place and certainly miss all of them.

My child has been going here for 2 years. We’ve had a great experience. My child has developed from about 30% intelligible to 90% intelligible. (massive improvement!)
Alana is fabulous. She developed a special bond and made my child work hard on speech in way that was fun and built confidence in those early years. She ensured there was a smooth transition to Shadi who recently picked up many of Alana’s cases (as Alana moved to the CSLOT Freemont offices).
Shadi’s been wonderful too. In short time she has developed a great bond and there is continued progress in the speech intelligibility of my child.
Angela who is the office manager awesome. She is on top of things, professional, knows all the children… My child loves seeing her as much as going to speech.
In the past we have had an issue with a temp therapist — when I raised the concern to Angela — there was immediate response and handling of the situation. Everything was resolved in a manner that was in the best interest of my child’s development and the communication through the process was professional and thorough.

Very unprofessional and rude front staff… Their prime objective is money making and not helping kids .No compassion shown towards the child. All they care about is how to maximize their pay out.

CSLOT has been there for us when most needed. My son started with Early Start services before he was 2years old, before his autism diagnosis. 3 years later we are still happy clients. From the moment you open the door it’s all smiles and welcomes to the children. They have caring and professional services for OT, SLP, group therapy, summer camps, preschool Yikes Tikes and even a book club for moms! They are also very well informed about resources in the community, Regional Center, Insurance, Parent Groups, etc. We’ve had a great experience so far.

A great place. My son has been going here for a several months and has had such great success in his speech. I am so proud of him, and the care he is getting from Alana is amazing. He loves her, and the great friendship they have developed along with the sessions I couldn’t be more pleased. Staff are great Angela and Ana upfront keep things running smooth, and Katie — thank you for the correct diagnosis on my son. A great and welcoming place… Happy I made the change.

I have to say, I was a little disappointed by the lack of caring and compassion from the office staff here. I was eager to get my daughter going with speech therapy after an assessment she had elsewhere. I called, and the staff seemed put out that I wanted to get her started before her Early Start case manager had told us what services would be provided. They in fact, would not release any information about their speech therapists even though I indicated we would be paying privately for services until Early Start kicked in.
They did however, recommend I come in and tour the facility so that once I found out what services would be covered by Early Start I would know where I would want to take my daughter. I agreed, and went in. The tour was a woman walking me through their office space showing me empty rooms saying «this is a therapy office,» «this is where they have snack,» that is all great — but where were the kids? I didn’t drive all that way to be shown a bunch of empty rooms. It was a complete waste of time.
The pointless tour combined with their general lack of helpfulness during my initial call has lead me to look elsewhere for my daughter.

Great place for OT and ST. Staff is very caring and great with kids.
