I doubt those other reviews are real customers.
I chose David to paint my kitchen cabinets. He began the job looking very confused about what to do. He asked me if he could could just paint the hinges too. It made me wonder if he ever painted cabinets before.
He complained every time I saw him, every day of the job. He crashed his van into my car.
He did not properly mask the lights above, so I did it for him while he was on lunch.
He did not sand the cabinets before spraying primer. He claims he did and he was angry that I asked, but I could still see the original paint exactly the same and I could still see droplets of grease near the stove. He lied to me.
He sent me to go buy the paint for him like his errand boy. A painter comes to the job without paint? For real?
He painted the ground of my entire backyard white with over spray. He spilled about a half gallon of paint on my brick path. I thought for sure he was going to clean it up. Nope.
After he finished spraying, he said, «You’re going to install the cabinets back yourself right?»
I had to ask him to repeat himself because I couldn’t believe he asked that.
Then he said, «You don’t have time to put the cabinets back on yourself?»
I told him that he needed to do it. He was very annoyed with my response. He said he needed to come back the next day.
The next day, he said, «You said you’re going to install the knobs back yourself right?»
«No, I never said that,» I replied.
He got very annoyed, gave a long sigh, and rolled his eyes at me. I almost kicked him out right there.
I inspected his paint job and saw that there were uneven paint lines. It was very unprofessional.
He left a mountain of garbage dumped in the backyard. He demanded cash, but he did not have a receipt book. I told him he could use mine, but he told me to write the receipt myself.
The whole time, he acted like he was doing a job that he hated very much. You’re better off hiring a day-​laborer off the street. This guy has no skill, no manners, no professionalism, no pride, and no care.

Had David come in an install closet mirror doors (bypass doors) in the bedrooms and he did a great. He even worked on the 4^th of July and took the time to do it right even though he only charged $ 150 for four closets. He also estimated painting the exterior of a 2600 SF house and it only came to $ 2k. Call this guy, you won’t be sorry.
