I lived in SJ for 30 years, and John cut my hair the whole time. I now drive from San Francisco to SJ, to continue the connection.
John has become a friend, my Realtor, an advisor I can trust. It’s always a fun experience being in the shop. You get to meet interesting people there, too. John attracts high achievers, and encourages them, constantly.

Old fashion barber shop. It’s the kind of place where people just drop by to chat. Did a good job. If you’ve been looking for a new barber shop like me give this place a try. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I’m not much for chit chat.

Johns the guy. He gave me my first heir cut when i was in dipers, and has cut my heir ever since. last week he gave me my first heir cut for my fist job out of high school.
The guys been cutting my dad’s heir for almost 30 years and even cut his heir for his wedding.

+some people come over just to get life lessens, Johns talks and loves every one, Johns even had a guy who was going to a therapist for his problems, but after just one heir cut they guy quoted,“this was better then 6 months of therapy.“
John is like one of those elders in a village who give profound insight and knowledge to all people who ask for it. I love him as a third grandpa, can’t imagine going anywhere else.

This is the place you want to go to if you’re looking for a great haircut! I’ve been having my hair cut by John from my second haircut as a baby up to the present, and the only other people to touch my hair (in his VERY rare absences, e.g.: surgery, or vacation) haven’t measured up. John enjoys cutting hair and it shows, he takes pride in his work, and will do whatever it takes to make you happy.
The man is a human dynamo full of energy and life, John is always happy to get you in his chair. However as a word of warning to those unfamiliar with John, he’s a talker, and always has something to say whether it’s about Barbering, life, real-​estate, politics, religion, whatever!!! But DO NOT let this discourage you, John is very kind and caring, and extremely talented. In my 23 years, I’ve changed my hairstyle quite a few times, and John has always been able to deliver whether the cut is something classic and familiar, or new, trendy, and unique, he’s continued to deliver excellent haircuts, that meet my high standards. I even continue to come only to him, despite moving to Monterey, CA.
Whether you’re a new customer, or long time client, John will go above and beyond for you, not only in cutting your hair but helping you with anything you need! As a highly awarded realtor (whom I’ve used), he has a plethora of skilled craftsmen to recommend for any job you need done, and he will be more than happy to offer you advice on any questions you have on any topic, to the best of his ability.
