The car battery for our Honda Civic stopped operating early on a cold Friday morning. We drive to 24 hr fitness every morning to workout, but this morning, we obviously couldn’t. So we uninstalled the car battery, put it in my little suitcase and dragged it through 15 blocks in Downtown San Jose to AutoZone, which was the only one open and closest to us. A very nice gentleman named Wilson helped us when he saw us walk in. He was super helpful looking up whether the car battery was still under warranty, and shared a couple of options with us since it is within the 5 year (just barely!). With his help, we got the most cost effective option and the new battery for a new full 5 year warranty. He also hooked us up with the fuel injector fluid and the grease and pads for the battery terminals. Apparently our purchase qualified for those bonuses :). Awesome guy that Wilson! He made our day happier despite the «powerless» morning. :D.

Love this Auto Zone everyone is super helpful and out going. Javier is awesome! He always assist me in switching out lights and all the little nuances that come up! Best location I’ve been to! Only one I will go to from now on, been to others but the service isn’t there.

This place is incredibly bad with any type of service by the way!!! Anytime I have a question, no one knows shit about anything or what I’m even talking about lol. They never answer their phone when you call them. I’d stay away and go somewhere else if looking for anything.

I went to AutoZone to pick up a new car battery. I have never changed a car battery before, but I’d thought I’d give it a try since AutoZone will loan customers the tools for the job.
I was pleasantly surprised when the manager offered to change the battery for me. I was able to watch and learn.
I was delighted with the customer service.

the manager of this store is very knowledgeable and know what he is doing.
he is a tall guy with a small beard.
AVOID: the spanish guy he is about 5“5 or 5“6
if he cannot find what you need he will just tell you out of stock,
very rude and cannot give you a good advice.
anyway, I like the manager he is smart and knows automobile.
