So glad I listened to fellow Unilocalers.
They were right, this is a real farmer’s market, with local produce and food. They all tasted incredible, unlike the supermarket produce that are picked when green and trucked thousands of miles.
I also like the idea of supporting local businesses. This will be my new weekly source of fresh fruit and vegetables.

My first visit to this local farmer’s market. Lovely market with beautiful vegetables, flowers, cacti, fresh honey, fresh made crepes, cheeses, nuts and many other vendors. My favorite was the homemade tamales. Oh Yum! I will return for all the lovely, fresh vegetables next week. (Thursdays 8 – 1) Bring a sun hat or umbrella if it’s hot.

Local honey, fresh pasta from Datillos restaurant and fresh seasonal fruit and veggies from the farms and can’t forget a must 1quart green goddess.
