I highly recommend Mr Yip! He was my male massage therapist for my first visit here. He could easily tell where the«sore» spots on both my neck and shoulders. His massage eased my muscle soreness, awesome! And it’s only $ 20 an hour!!!

AVOIDATALLCOSTS!!! DONOTGOHERE!!! This is one of the worst massage places I’ve ever been to. If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would because it deserves a NEGATIVE5! I took my parents here the other day for an hour foot massage. They barely even acknowledged us when we arrived and just pointed us to where we should sit in the communal room. They basically acted like we were bothering them. Anyway, fifteen mins went by, our masseuses finally arrived. Talk about bad hygiene. My masseuse’s hands smelled of tobacco. It was actually quite disgusting since he was trying to give me a scalp/face massage and I could smell everything. Next to me, two ladies were tending to my parents. And the whole entire hour, the three of them were conversing in LOUD chinese back and forth the WHOLE time. How can you even be at a place of relaxation when they’re jibbering loudly? TOTALLACKOFPROFESSIONALCOURTESY. At the end of this HORRIBLE, LOUD, NOISY, SMELLY, BAD massage(the massage was not good either), it was time to pay. I gave a $ 5 tip to each masseuse and they had the nerve to yell at me. «5 dollar no good! Bad!» A tip should be at my discretion(especially when the service was that bad), not forced! But they wouldn’t let me leave until I paid them $ 10 each. It’s an outrage! My parents were shocked with their bad service too. Let me reiterate the reasons again: 1.) BADMASSAGES 2.) CIGARETTE smelly hands 3.) LOUD and RUDE masseuses 4.) Place is incredibly DIRTY 5.) Communal area is dark and dingy 6.) Yells at you for giving anything less than $ 10 tip, when they deserve $ 0!!! 7.) SHITTY customer service AGAIN, AVOIDATALLCOSTS! DO — NOT –GO — HERE!

Worst massage experience ever. I go monthly to 3 other spots… decided to give this a shot. RUDEST group of women I’ve ever met in a work establishment. first off I got a 90 min body n foot combo… the LADYANSWERED her phone during my body massage and had a convo with the lady in the next room… completely killed my experience… then the foot portion was in a communal room with other people which I though was weird too. Another masseuse decided to take a lunch break right in front of my station and eat Chinese and chew loudly and talk on the phone when they clearly have space in the back that I saw… so at this point I wanted to just pay and leave… my cost was $ 40 before tip… I handed my lady a $ 20 and ask for change for a tip… she comes back with $ 5 !!! I was like ummmm no… give me my change… she’s like WOW I massage you for 90 minutes !!! I said want my money… she laughed and rolled her eyes at me and gave me another $ 5 …she decided to tip HERself… I walked out of there ENRAGED and not relaxed… please stay clear of this place !!!

ok, so the massage itself was a solid B. The reason they aren’t getting a higher rating is because i requested«Fong», as a friend of mine made a very high recommendation for him. After making an appointment with Fong, and repeating his name numerous times and getting head nods that he is the one i was having the appointment with, I received a complete massage by a guy they said was Fong. At the end of the massage, the guy tells me his name is actually Kevin, and Fong was working. I don’t even know if Fong works there, but these guys lied. I felt duped. When I told the woman who set this all up that he was not Fong, she just giggled and said that Kevin is the best.

WORSE massage ever! Do NOT go here, there are SUCH better places to go in San Gabriel. My lady was CONSTANTLY on her phone and speaking full volume to the girl working on my friend in the next room. She also only went 50 minutes and then wondered why I only gave her a $ 5 tip. She had VERY rough hands so it did not feel good without lotion, even when she used lotion her hands were so calloused it was like getting rubbed down with sand paper. I am so disappointed in this place that I am going to reverse the charges on my credit card since I do think they deserve one cent from me. DONOTCOMEHEREEVER!!!

In terms of price, $ 15 for an hour is pretty good. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing for the most part, staff is courteous and mostly respectful of the noise level. The massage part is where they could put some more muscle into. I told my masseuse in both Chinese and English to just beat me up. It felt like he was just moving my skin around during the majority of it even after I had told him to step it up. I just gave up and went with it afterwards. If you plan on paying with your card, you will need to make quite a journey to their office. Just bring cash to make life easier.

My friend who has been coming here for almost 10 years introduced me to this place and I never stop going after that. If I’m in this area I will definitely stop in for a quick hour massage. It’s always consistently good. Everyone here I tried has been really good.

Been coming to the same place for years and noticed today that they moved down the street. So we tried this place. I’ve tried a few places around the area and they’re mostly OK. But today was the worst experience of all time. Idle chatter and occasional phone calls are to be expected in this type of massage place. But this was inexcusable. Not only was she on the phone and watching a soap opera on her iPad full volume while massaging, she would take phone calls out of the room during the massage and still came in under and hour. She applied almost no pressure — felt like I was being pet more than massaged. And then she demanded pay before I could be fully dressed to reach for my wallet. They were gathering around me and my friend waiting hand out to be paid — it was greedy and awkward. Last time I was there they made it clear it must be a 10 $ tip — MANDATORY. We were again bullied into a 35% tip for one of the worst massages ever received. Never coming back this place should be shut down.

The WORST, SLEAZIEST and NOISIEST massage place that I’ve been so far. I would give them MINUS5-STARS if the app allows me to! Came with a female friend yesterday and when we arrived, the foot massage area(looks dark and sleazy), totally different from the pictures(looks clean and bright) that we saw on Unilocal! So don’t be deceived and I recommend you DON’T GO! My masseur is too whiny, we arrived at 10pm for an hour massage as they close at 11pm. She kept complaining to her co-worker next to us in Chinese that she got to work till late because of us. And she obviously knows we are Chinese, but she just don’t care. Throughout that hour of massage, she’s been talking non-stop to her co-workers, imagine an hour of whining into your ears, it’s simply unbearable! She even mentioned that some customer did not tips her this afternoon and obviously I know why cause her service is HORRIBLE!!! Secondly, when we arrived, there are 2 half naked guys that is having their massage, and we almost wanted to leave when we saw the masseur tickling the guy’s ear with her hair. It’s so disgusting! But since they have already prepared the hot water for us to rinse our legs, we just stayed on. Lastly, I would like to warn anyone who’s going over that the masseurs here is INCORRIGIBLE! Their service is horrible and we had the customer’s rights not to tips them but we still did. We gave $ 5 tips and you know what?! They didn’t want to let us go till we pay them each $ 10 tips! They gave such horrible altitude and service and still demand more tips!!! Still complained that they work late for us? It was 11pm then and in Unilocal it was stated it closes at 11pm! I seldom write such a bad review and this is the worst review that I have written so far. HORRIBLESERVICE and the place is so SLEAZY, do not recommend you to try!

Been wanting to try a new massage place in the SGV. Came here on a Saturday night around 10PM. The ambiance was very relaxing – dark room and soft music in the background. I got the FOOT massage, but it was actually a clothed full body massage in an open space(which I didn’t mind because there were no other clients around that late). You can choose whether you want a male or female masseuse. I opted for the female. First, they start you off by soaking your feet while they work their way up and down your back. Then, you will lay on your belly as they massage up and down your spine, arms, fingers, butt, thighs, and legs. After that, you turn over and they massage your scalp, temples, and your face. Then, they’ll work their way all the way down to your feet and toes. My masseuse was a young girl – luckily she spoke English because I don’t speak Mandarin. I don’t think many people that work here know English so be wary of that walking in and let them know when it hurts. My masseuse was good – at times, she put too much pressure but I told her to soften it up. She kept checking to see if I was comfortable with the pressure. When the session was over, they offered water or tea. I walked out of there relaxed and went straight to bed when I got home. The next morning, I was SORELAXED and felt ready to conquer the world… almost! ;) For $ 20 for a 1 hour foot massage, I’d HIGHLYRECOMMEND you try this place out. Staff is friendly and provides great service. PROTIPS: 1) Take a shower before you get a massage(You’ll be doing the masseuse a favor). 2) If you’re a lady and want the full massage experience, don’t wear any makeup. 3) Wear loose fitting clothes. I’d recommend tank top, shorts, sweats, yoga pants, and flip flops, 4 Speak up if the masseuse is putting too much pressure on you. 5) Tip in CASH! Your masseuse will appreciate it :)

Place is clean. Chair for the foot massage is good. The masseuse I got was good, but can definitely do better. $ 15 for one hour. When I gave $ 5 tip, it was frowned upon. Now, if she did a better job, I would have not mind leaving a bigger tip. Bring cash, I tried to pay with credit card, they said cash only.

FIRSTTIMER here! Pros: Super cheap($ 15 for a «foot» massage) and a «foot massage» is really a full body massage with more emphasis on your feet. They actually give you a full hour massage. Cons: Not a very relaxing atmosphere. The music isn’t loud enough and the masseuses talk to each other while giving the massage. On that note, they also speak very limited English. The towels used to clean off the oil is also very rough. So why the four stars? No one can beat these prices! If you care more about the actual massage than the atmosphere, this place is for you.

Awesome place. It look so pretty from the inside. Nice ladies. Price is fair. They even give you hot water or tea at the end of your session.
