My friends tried the mango mochi and used an «eh» motion. I tried the green tea mochi and honestly was not surprised. WARNING: no napkins. Maybe bring your own???

I usually go to this location to purchase a dessert and one of their tropical drinks to go. I really like their Mango Pomelo Sago Delight, Coffee Jelly with Cream and their Mixed Fruit Tapioca. I go to another one of their locations to eat. Maybe it’s because it is closer to my house? If you like the taste of coconut, cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, mango and mini tapioca… you’ll LOVE the Mixed Fruit Tapioca Tropical Drink.

Didn’t find my experience here as great as the location in Temple City. It’s small and sometimes really busy here, so it can take a while to get your food, especially at peak hours. This place seemed to have good business though; I went on a weekday with my boyfriend around 5:00pm. The waitresses also don’t seem to know much English. I tried the stir-fried udon with beef and Korean sauce; it was a tad salty. I didn’t like how they were out of egg tarts. In the future I will go to the Temple City one which is on the same street, just all the way straight down. It’s more spacious, has more seating, and prettier menus/atmosphere.

Service is lackluster, portions are a rip off considering the same prices for actual entrees at amazing places just down the street. The only reason this place and franchise even deserves any stars is cause people need a place to go for late night desserts.

Your employees are disrespectful, no service at all in this Branch at 712 W Las Tunas Dr, San Gabriel, CA91778 1. When I walk in like customers, if u don’t say hi, which is Okie with me! But at least take your customer to be seated even tho your employees saw us here and waiting for them! 2. We had raise my hand for order food, they saw us but don’t even want to come and take order! And I count that take 2 min for them to come over?! That’s really great service for your employees with attitude! 3. Your employees need to pay more attention for their own attitude!

I’ve been to many Phoenix Food Boutique’s in the cities around 626. It’s all the same, and order the same few dishes all the time. It’s definitely one of the chinese spots everyone goes to. Check it out! ENJOY! PS: My go to drink is the MIXEDFRUITTAPIOCA.

Mixed fruit iced drink, yum yum in my tum tum! This is a milk based drink that has melon and mango, coconut milk, and tapioca. It is surprisingly light and super delicious! I can’t believe I just discovered this drink last week, I’ve been missing out!

By far the best Mango Slush with just the right amount condensed milk. The mango chunks are fresh everytime. I’ve tried this dessert at Papa Walks and thought it was not good at all. So glad to have had it at Phoenix first otherwise I would have thought this was a not so good dessert.

I only had the dessert here, which was a grapefruit pudding. It was tasty and refreshing. But nothing really mind blowing. Their other items looked good as well.

Phoenix Food Boutique is not known for their entrees and appetizers, unless you are trying to order take-out here just to impress people with the nice containers they use for their take-out. I don’t come to Phoenix often, but when I do, it’s usually because I am craving their desserts. I order mixed fruit tapioca if I want something cold, and I order black sticky rice with young coconut and add black sesame tang yuan(Mochi-like balls) if I want something hot. Their mixed tapioca drink is about $ 4 including tax. The black sticky rice hot dessert is about $ 6. They also offer other cold drinks to-go and packaged desserts to-go like mango mochi, durian rolls, mango pudding, and more Hong Kong style desserts in their refrigerated section. Their table service is pretty horrible. All the waitresses just stand behind the cashier instead of out around the tables to service their sit down customers. They wait until you waive for their attention so they acknowledge that they see that you need something, but just stand there so that you can yell across the room to let them know what you need. It makes you wonder whether you’re supposed to leave a tip for them or is this like a cafeteria where you serve yourself.

I’ve never been to this Phoenix location before — it’s smaller and not as nice as the one on Atlantic. They still have the same menu but they were out of egg tarts! Boo! My friend and I got the mixed fruit shaved ice — all that condensed milk and fresh fruit really hit the spot! And the lemon almond cookies — which were a bit on the dry side and more lemony than almondy(which I liked) Service is standard, bathroom is relatively clean. Parking is aplenty since it’s in a plaza.

Thus place is just ok. Kind of expensive for drinks compared to factory tea bar which is close by. Only reason I came was because I was craving the mixed fruit drink. It turned out just ok. I usually only go to Phoenix once a year so I’ve hit my quota haha Two drinks cost $ 9.05. Yikes.

I’m a fan of the fabulous and fast desserts at the Phoenix chain of Food Boutiques, Dessert Shops, and Full Chinese Restaurants; however, this is my least favorite location. Don’t get me wrong, this small spot on Las Tunas is still a-ok, but just not as fast or fabulous as the other spots. Phoenix Food Boutique offers fast Chinese Fusion food and an array of desserts, teas, and snacks. It seems stuck between being a full tea shop or a «to go» spot. Parking is free in the shared lot for the shopping center. Olivia Z. and me popped in for some dessert and tea. The drinks were tame while a Mixed Mochi Pack: Red Bean, Green Tea, Black Sesame/Taro, and Mango was quick. It might of been an older package of mochi because we’ve had better at other Phoenix stores. Finally a pre-made Mango Pudding with Condensed Milk brought us some Mango-ness. Not all Phoenix locations are the same. This Phoenix Food Boutique may not rise to triumph like others, but it also won’t flame out anytime soon. It’s a-ok.

I go to this place when either I’m lazy or it’s too late to go somewhere else. The food, while of course not the greatest, is more than acceptable. I love the location and I love how they don’t close too early. FOOD Most of the time I just order the seafood udon. It’s tasty and has a good amount of shrimp and fish. DRINK I usually get the mixed fruits tapioca or the mango tapioca. At $ 3.50(?) it’s not that cheap though. SERVICE not bad. usually quick, efficient, and friendly PARKING Street or shared parking lot. Usually not too bad.

Cute little dessert place, conveniently located near my work. Limited seating, but my favorite drinks is still the mixed fruit pearl boba :]

I’ve been to other Phoenix Food Boutique locations. There’s nothing special about this place. It’s located in a small plaza. The parking here on a weekend gets packed… which surprised me because I didn’t see too many around. I ordered their Black Sticky Rice with Young Coconut — $ 2.95. It’s a hot dessert, but it came out luke warm. However, I did enjoy it. It was semi-sweet, which I like. I was able to finish the whole bowl without having to down a full cup of water. I’ve had other things here… their mixed fruit coconut milk drink, which is AMAZING. Another favorite of mine is their mango and coconut roll or their durian roll. They also sell pudding… similar to the puddling that Dim Sum restaurants sell. There are many different flavors. Overall, they have a wide variety of desserts, both hot and cold. You can’t go wrong when you’re here. If you don’t like something, you can move on and try something else. Other than desserts, they offer meals that are usually served at other cafes in the area. The prices here are reasonable. The service at this location was decent. Our waitress dropped by and took our orders. However, after dropping off our food, we never saw her again. When we paid for our bill, she never returned our change. Apparently, she took it upon herself to keep the change for her tip. The dining area is small, but fairly clean. It wasn’t in the best shape, but it wasn’t dirty. I think they can do a little better and update the place… in comparison to some of the other locations. Overall, I am giving this place 3 stars. I wasn’t too fond of the service, the plaza was very small so parking was difficult to find, the décor could use an update… but their desserts are still good. I recommend Phoenix Food Boutique… any location will do. I’ll only come here again if I am in the area, otherwise, I’d go to another Phoenix Food Boutique location.

This place makes the worst coconut tapioca fresh fruits drink. Too much tapioca, ice clumped all together and not enough fruit. The mango shaved ice came half melted and had really dark looking, bruised mango pieces. Worst location I’ve been to so far.

Came here after dinner because their mixed fruit drink with mini boba was supposed to be good. So we ordered some pudding, the mixed fruit drinks, shaved ice with mango, and tiramisu. Eh~ The mixed fruit drink was way to milky. the shaved ice was nothing but ice with condensed milk and unripened mango. The tiramisu was ok… Luckily, the pudding was the good. I’d take Half and Half over this place any time.

Coconut milk and brack sticky rice pudding!!! Phoenix Boutique is always a great place to grab a quick bite, drink or dessert. Nice spicy salt chicken wings, pretty good hainan chicken, good porridges, and great asian desserts. Many locations and they always seem to be consistent and the gals are always nice who work at them. During the summer — their mixed tropical drinks are great filled with juicy pieces of fruit, tapioca and gelatin giving them fun textures that taste great! Their custards, pastries and hot asian desserts are all good as well. The Phoenix has risen! Cheap, great quality and fast for the price!
