So sad and disappointed. We thought we left our dad at a safe place, they would call if he gained a pound or lost a pound they even called to let us know if he got a cut and needed a band aid. Well that all changed Thursday we never got a call to tell us that our dad was in critical condition and that they were transporting him to the hospital .(they brought him at 1:00pm) .oh wait we did get a call from the hospital at 8:00pm(7 hour later) to say our dad was in critical condition… does dying at 7:30pm put you in critical care at 8:00pm. I think not! They had time to check our dad’s wallet in and count all his money but did’t think enough of him or of his family to not have him die alone. Irresponsible, lack of compassion. San Gabriel Hospital is no better they pointed my sister to the room my dad was in, did they warn her that he that he already passed no and that he had already been dead an hour and a half and had a sheet over his head… they let her walk right in and discover it herself. Shame on you all, hopefully someone will treat your loved ones a little better than ours was! Seems that quite a few people might me in the wrong profession!(Pine grove is the current name)

I do not know much about this convalescent hospital, except I come here to vote. The polling place has been here for quite sometime already. So it’s a bit unrelated if I was to write a review about Fernview. But I will try from my experience in the front lobby only. The whole convalescent hospital seemed a bit aged. The carpet and the walls probably needs to be removed and repainted. The lobby seemed a bit plain without much character compared to the other convalescent hospitals I have been to when my grandmother was admitted back then. Maybe they are going through some restructuring? Why? Because the sign outside in the patient drop off/pick up area has been removed. Other than that, I have nothing else to say about them. I only hope and pray that we and all of our loved ones will live a happy and healthy life!
