The guys in here were really nice. They offered to prepare the live catfish for me. Prices were great and they had huge selection including goat and quail. Will be back

Came here with my girlfriend to pick up some steaks and shrimp for a nice dinner and was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and cheap everything was. Much cheaper than buying from the supermarket and basically anywhere else that I’ve bought meat from and the quality was amazing! Will definitely come back whenever I have a chance.

My friend introduced me to this place when I told her I wanted to go to safeway to buy some meat. She had told me that I could get quality meat for half the price of safeway here. At first, I was a little wary of this place because it was a chop shop, but when I got home and cooked the T-bone steaks that I had bought, me and my boyfriend loved it! Among the best I’ve ever had. Pretty good quality. Overall I’m pretty impressed for what I got and the cheap price. Cash only I believe!

This place is the place to go for fresh meat. It’s affordable and the meat is always top notch. The owner is also super friendly. Cash only!

(See pic) Review #1207. This Asian shop carries decent fish filet that is great and it’s my go-to place on my way home. It also carries a good selection of meats and are in good quality. All are in good prices. It opens until 6:30pm.

Cheapest shrimp in the mission. But it’s not exactly clean: Next time will go elsewhere and happily pay more.

Yangtze is on my way home, and it’s always worth a stop. One disclaimer: it definitely smells like a meat & fish market. Not all that pleasant. But, here’s the point: I buy T-bone and porterhouse steaks at this place for $ 6.00/pound, or less than half what you would pay anywhere else, and one-third what you’d pay at the Ferry Building. And the steaks are among the best I’ve ever had. And when a cowboy says the steak is good, you can take it to the bank. I routinely walk away from this place with 2 weeks worth of meat for under $ 30. And I eat meat like it’s going out of style. I think they only take cash. But then, it IS a chop shop.
