William Ellis, MD, FACS

I recently had laser surgery with Dr Ellis in El Cerrito. I done a lot of research before having the actual surgery performed. After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried. I went for a pre op and I was amazed about the friendly service that was given to me. Everyone with whom I came in contact with was pleasant and very professional. I was greeted by a very happy person named I think Debby and then was seen by a Dr. Chen and then taken back for my surgery. I was very nervous and scared. There I met the most amazing person (nurse) Bobby and her staff. After talking to her I would go back to have surgery on any part of my body as I felt she would take care of me through anything. Her knowledge of the procedure and her humor made me so relaxed and excited to have the surgery (I think the drugs also helped) Then I met Dr. Ellis. He personally shook my hand and thanked me for choosing him to do the surgery. He asked me where I lived and what my job was. When he heard where I was originally from he asked me if I knew of a town and a restaurant close by. And amazing enough I did and we had a nice conversation about the countryside. He was not in a hurry as so many Dr. s are. They talk to you as they are going out the door. All in all I could not be happier with my eyesight and the remarkable service and care I received. I have referred several of my friends and would encourage anyone wanting laser surgery for better sight to go to Dr. Ellis.
