Wendy Brown is a brilliant therapist! She is empathetic, a good listener, makes suggestions appropriate to me,(i.e., she is present and responsive during therapy), she is kind, tactful, and has a wonderful sense of humor! I’m aware of very few therapists who reach her level of excellence, none(whom I know) who exceed her abilities, the majority who will help some people and fall somewhere in the average category, and(unfortunately) those who fall dangerously well below any ability to help anyone, who nonetheless still take your money(and waste your time). I’m aware that reviewing a therapist can be very subjective. And, I’m educated about some of the characteristics that comprise what(I believe, many) people would find unhelpful or downright bad: Therapists who fall asleep, who violate the laws that govern their practice, who couldn’t hold a confidence to save their life, who make you feel like you might as well be talking to a wall, etc. I say all this as I’ve heard other’s stories, which reinforce my belief that I am not alone. For me, finding Wendy Brown, Mft., was my life’s way of saving the best for last!
