Urban Waxology

I found Jenessa at Urban Waxology from a craigslist ad that she had posted. I couldn’t beat the deal, and I am all for supporting a new business (especially women in business). From our conversation I can tell she was very knowledgable and really loved her job! She was so great and I am so happy with my services! I have gotten waxing done before so I have a lot to compare it to and she is outstanding! Her room is extremely clean, she never double dips, and she takes every measure to make sure you are comfortable. haha we had so much fun talking about life that I was completely distracted and time seemed to fly by.
Like another person had mentioned it can be a little deceiving as to where the entrance is (I was a little late for my appointment lol) but if you walk down Treat st. to about the middle of the block you’ll see a call box, buzz her number and she will let you right in!

I got one of the worst eyebrow waxes of my life and was dying to fix it. Thank god I found Janessa! She gave me one of the most thorough waxes of my life and my brows never looked better. I could not even believe how nice they looked! The lines were super clean and she really listened to what I wanted. She ended up tweezing more than waxing because I had just gotten my brows waxed two weeks prior. You can really tell she knows what she’s doing and her place is so freaking cute! Its located in this crazy work space building that I had never seen before in my life. Its like a building full of little businesses including cafes and salons and stores. I walked in a couple circles before I found the entrance!

I got my eyebrows done last night by Janessa and I was so happy with my service ! She greeted me at my appointment time and we got started right away! I’ve been getting waxed for years, so I know what to expect. This was by far the most painless wax I’ve ever had! She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She took her time, which I love!!! She filled my brows and and applied highlighter to the brow bone, perfect brows!!! The products she used were amazing! Seriously seriously seriously recommend Janessa at Urban Waxology!!!

So. This is my first time getting waxed here and let me tell you. AMAZING. the ambiance of the place was chill. Janessa the owner is absolutely amazing and keeps you comfortable. The wax left my skin feeling soooo smooth. I’ve waxed before at European wax center but it would literally make my hair grow back within a week. This wax that Janessa uses is great. She had music. We talked and just felt extremely comfortable and happy. I left feeling refreshed. Def would go here again and again. Made her put me in her book as a regular! Love love love.
