We wanted a drink before going out to dinner so stopped the upstairs bar and grill. There see 3 bartenders and 1 waitress and 5 customers. It was too much for them to handle. After 15 minutes of no service, we left.

The happy hour deals were great! We had the pork skewers and the burger. It was at a great happy hour price! The pork skewers and the burger had a full flavor of the grill. Our bartender was really nice and chatted with us for a while. My friend had an old fashioned with bulleit bourbon. It had a bit too much pulp. I would definitely come back with more friends to enjoy the upstairs bar. It looks like most people either don’t prefer it, or don’t know about it, as downstairs was packed!

Pretty expensive for mediocre drinks. The wait staff is friendly and the interiors looks swanky. But other than that, there was not much here I could recommend

One of my friends was told of this place from someone so we tried this place out. I really like the atmosphere and the staff is super nice. The drinks are a little pricey, but it’s expected for a place like this. All of us enjoyed the drinks we ordered and loved just being able to hang out in a cool laid back place. We’ll definitely come back!

Nice little cozy place with initimate booths and live DJ’s, I actually wouldn’t go out of my way to hang out at this particular location, but all in all it’s alright.

I used to hit up this spot often before the remodel. It’s where I learned about fernet. I dropped by yesterday night to see how it was. We went ‘upstairs’ to the bar on the second level and found an empty booth. 5 mins pass by. 10 mins pass by. 15 mins pass by… and no waitress or server stops by. At 20 mins, after about 5 mins of flailing my arms around, I’m able to wave down an Asian server, who was standing behind the bar directly in front of us, doing nothing. I ask for drink menus and he seems almost annoyed by this request. Well, that’s a great way first impression to leave on guests. Normally I’d be a bit hesitant to go to a place with $ 15 cocktails, but the group I was with wanted to have some fun. The service here, however, absolutely killed the mood. After figuring out what we wanted to order, I looked around and the server was no where to be found. After a few more minutes, I decided this was ridiculous. Simply put: save your time and money and go somewhere else. The one redeeming part of the service was when we got up to leave, a waitress who had been helping a large group next to us, saw us getting leaving and apologized for our long wait. She had a legit excuse. The rest of the staff did not.

Fun atmosphere, cool intimate booths and an organic and local driven menu! Though the menu is a tad limited, it is a lounge and there is a restaurant right downstairs. Fun and sexy spot to hang with friends!

It a quite place the bar wasn’t crowded I went there with three friends and the bartender can make a good drink, we didn’t have to worry about anyone getting in or conversation so we were disgusting or next trip to Mexico and we decided to go somewhere else.

A couple years back I had brunch up here before the reconcepting. My how things have changed. Back then it was a bit on the glittery side and when it opened it was a hot spot for sure. As with Trace downstairs W Management has recognized they needed to get with the times and appeal to a more contemporary crowd. Gone are the old booths and multi colored aesthetics. Now it’s almost purely black, white, and mercury in color scheme, dimly blue lit and sleek. However the most important thing is the cocktail program is improved. I always have liked the drinks at the former bar but like the rest of the city, the Bourbon and Branches, the Churchills, Burritt Rooms, and Jasper’s, it’s taken some classics and new ideas and crafted a very interesting drink menu. As a bourbon lover the Mr Robinson is worthy of several tries in the same sitting. Now they’re actually not completely done, there’s work ongoing until October but don’t let that stop you from dropping in for a drink. They already have a good list of cocktails and it’s going to double based on what I’ve seen in the wine list addendum that’s not even available yet. Bonus points for the Ms Pacman/Dig Dug/80’s arcade table top machine near the restrooms. 4.25 stars.
