The food here is good, but you can get two items with rice at many places in Daly City as compared with just the one item with rice here for the same price. What wasn’t cool was watching the guy heat up both the adobo and the rice in the microwave, right in front of me!

there’s an actual storefront, but it looked like someone had knocked down a garage door, put some tables and a tv up, and voila — an instant restaurant! i noticed that they had a hot food bar, and i guess their style of cooking is non-traditional, cause the only things i could recognize were the chicken adobo & the pinakbet. they have lots of sitsiria(snacks) for sale. the chicken adobo was nasty. very, very oily and the chicken tasted like it had been cooked the day before and just now re-heated. the pinakbet was okay, in fairness. but we paid something close to $ 10 for two items! come on now! i could’ve gone down the street and got better for wayyyy less!

At dingy-looking turo-turo restaurants that charge $ 6.95 for two items they should give you bigger portions than this. Not that that matters because the food here was way gross. The dinuguan was less than lukewarm. Even then, it might have been tolerable(but still not good) but every piece was like 87% fat and the soup itself tasted burnt. Bad. The eggplant was slightly better, but not by much because they microwaved it so it became slightly rubbery and uncomfortably greasy. Avoid.

This is the closest Filipino restaurant to me. The food is okay, nothing to scream about. The leche flan is probably my favorite here. They do cater & its the cheapest of all Filipino caterers.

My parents own a dry cleaning near by this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years. I tried one of their vegetable lumpias last week… I didn’t like it very much it was filled with one those frozen veggies variety bags you get from the supermarket. Typically I get their menudo over rice. OMG It’s to die for if you love homestyle cooking. Love it. I only order that =x I like this other thing they serve once in a while. its some white cream sauce thing with beef tripe in it. It’s delish =p Just had one of their beef empanadas … yummy!!! A little pricey but worth it. I would’ve taken a picture of the empanada but uhh I ate it already haha =x

I had the lumpia there and it was really good. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for so many years. I finally gave it a try.
